Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up.
NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here.
We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage.
We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers.
The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep.
Campers must take out what you bring in.
Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong.

Our private, riverfront secluded campsites are large and clean. All 6 sites are riverfront with power and fresh water supplied. They are relatively flat, level grass/dirt areas with gum trees peppered throughout the site for shade in summer.
We can accommodate any type and size of camping vehicle and 2WDs. Park your caravan or pitch a tent and relax.
For fishing and watersport enthusiasts there is access to a boat ramp. From camp there is sloping bank access to the water, steeper in some parts.
Guests will have access to a toilet, fire drums and cut your own firewood is available.

Your site assessment and safety is first and foremost, and please if, you’re not happy with the safety of area please let us know, all monies will be returned to you. We cannot tell when or if a limb may fall from a tree, it can be caused by heat, wind, lightning, rain or age.

The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep.

For fishing and watersport enthusiasts there is access to a boat ramp. From camp there is sloping bank access to the water, steeper in some parts.

100 acres of farm land. We have horses here that could use a pat and won’t knock back a carrot or an apple if you would like to give them one.
Our property is reasonably isolated as we are over 30 minutes from decent sized towns like Bendigo, Echuca or Shepparton.
There are bakeries and local pubs nearby along with wineries if you feel like a visit.
Our surrounding roads are very quiet, you might get the occasional car, ute or tractor. Bike riding or nature type walk is an option if it suits you.
Still if you wish some quiet time to yourselves our property is big enough to give you that too.
At this stage we only can cater for weekend stays - you are welcome to arrive Friday afternoon and depart during Monday morning as convenient to you.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Mt Black Station, Manfred and his wife were so nice and accommodating. The Mt Black Quarry road to the property is a typical rough track, once onto the property track the ride is much better with the track well maintained. We found the property to be clean and well maintained. Close enough to wineries and Negambie which was great. If a secluded recharge with a local drop is what you’re after we would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Red Rock Farm.
The family was very generous in sharing their time with us to show their highland cattle and the river surrounding the property. We look forward to another opportunity to stay in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Murray River Bush Camp! Great location and amenities. Hosts were very lovely and take good care of the site. Plenty of shade and a nice big space so even though there are other campers around you don’t feel on top of each other.

Great campsite — very well maintained with clean toilets and hot showers. We met Julie on our first day and she was incredibly welcoming and helpful.
The campsite is very family-oriented. Our group included three 6-year-old kids, and they all had a fantastic time. It’s a great place for families to relax and let the kids enjoy the outdoors safely.
The Murray River is very close by, which is a big plus. However, there were quite a few boats passing with loud music, so it wasn’t the best spot for fishing during our stay.
Overall, we had a great experience and are definitely looking forward to visiting again.

The site is very well maintained, including the toilets and showers, which Julie cleans regularly.
Julie is a lovely and friendly host.
The site is easy to access and nice and flat and quiet. Julie also brought a fire pit when we arrived, and firewood is available for purchase, which was very helpful.
We had a great stay and would happily come back.

Weekend Trip to Eden Farm
We had a great camping experience at Gary’s place at Eden Farm. Gary warmly welcomed us, showed us our campsite, and explained everything clearly. He even shared some interesting insights about watching satellites, and we also got to watch him milk a cow which was a unique experience. The campsite had good facilities including toilets, showers, water, and bins, and Gary also provided a power cable to connect to the electric point. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend it.

We had such a wonderful stay at Eden Farm! My friends and I truly had an amazing camping experience at Gary’s farm. The place is peaceful, spacious, and perfect for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy nature away from the busy city.
Gary was a very welcoming and accommodating host, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The farm has a beautiful, laid-back atmosphere that made our trip extra special, perfect for bonding, camping, and simply unwinding.
We especially loved the open space, fresh air, and calm surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying the campfire at night and stargazing under the clear sky, such a relaxing and memorable experience.

Gary is very helpful, he setup high speed internet which we used for using our projector. Toilets are clean, very good sky view. Sites are very big. Mainly kids loved the milking demonstration from Gary. Highly recommend.
