Located on the Murrumbidgee River, The Homestead is a mixed sheep and cropping property, predominantly producing cotton and winter cereals. It features many historical buildings such as the shearing shed, shearers' quarters, and stables. It's the perfect place fish, relax or camp. There is a place to load your boat and enjoy some fishing.
The township of Darlington Point is located 15 - 20 minutes drive away.
There are two options for you to enjoy this beautiful property.
The River Cabin:
We have a modern, fresh cabin that can accommodate up to 2 guests, with the option of a further 6 guests to camp near it where they'll be able to use the cabin as a base, and will have access to power and water.
Self-contained camping:
Hyde Park: We have a beautiful open area to camp along the Murrumbidgee River, which is fantastic for a group of self-contained campers. Plenty of room, open country and riverside fun. One booking at a time, so you have this entire area to yourselves. All campers here must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, power and drinking water.
Mossy's Beach : A more secluded spot featuring a beautiful sandbar which is fantastic for a group of self-contained campers. One booking at a time, so you have this entire area to yourselves. All campers here must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, power and drinking water.
All options are very private from one another, so you are assured your own space.
This is a working mixed-farming operation and so, there will be usual farming activity around the property which may include, vehicles mustering, motorbikes, irrigation pumps in use etc.
Pets are welcome but MUST be supervised at all times and must be contained at night.

Catania is a family farm, growing many different fruit tree, orange and vines are our main income. We have a store with many homemade jams, mustard and wine all made on the farm.
You can join the farm tour on the old tin bus or share a glass of wine, camp under the stars and wake in the vines.

We are a horse training and agistment facility located 6-minutes from the township of Leeton.
The farm oozes rustic charm, with an old shearing shed and homestead set on 50 acres of totally flat, rural land, ideal for camping!
Be prepared to be warmly greeted by the resident dogs and cats. If you're keen, there is the opportunity to pat the donkey, 'Fargo'. The property also has numerous birds including pelicans visit.
As a working equestrian facility, you are invited to watch horse riding lessons and horses being trained. Riding lessons are available on request.
The property features a serene walking track in the back paddock , with a backdrop of sheep.
Camping is available in the paddock or stable area with toilets and hot showers available. Power optional.

Sandy bank to the water, maintained grass for the campsite, plenty of wildlife and fish. Wish we could have stayed here for longer!

Catina Farms is a standout stay on hiCamp, offering a relaxed and authentic farm experience just outside Griffith. The perfect place to stay if you’re off-grid whilst in Narrandera. Debbie has added such sweet little touches-like fire pit areas with wood and benches, and fairy decorations. We were able to stay in a spot right near the Billabong and saw some fish wrestling. The area is large with a gate and no road noise.

We loved stopping here overnight. The grounds were well maintained, it was easy to find and the host was helpful and accommodating. We even fell asleep to the sound of koalas! Would decibel definitely stay here again.

Joe and Sharon are the most beautiful hipcamp hosts. Joe is so generous with his time - showing us around the farm and farm store. We loved learning about Joe’s nut trees especially, and the life he shares with Sharon. Sharon has a knack for homemade chutneys and jams. We think of you guys every time we reach for our balsamic vinegar and mustard.

Great host, clear directions and local knowledge in abundance. Camping is easy with clean facilities provided, on the water and undercover kitchen area. Dogs thoroughly enjoyed their time, plenty of space to run and sniff. Access road clear and easy to find.

Easy access into site, private and peaceful. Amenities were clean and well thought out, nice personal touches in bathroom.
Host stopped into to run as through how the gas shower worked, he was friendly and polite and gave us handy directions for our travels. Would recommend to anyone passing through or for a trip away.

We loved staying here! Jo and Sharon were excellent hosts. The farm is beautiful and quiet. We parked behind the machinery shed with our truck and 22ft caravan. Drive through, plenty of room. 10mins to Griffith. Well worth the stop. PS Take the very interesting farm tour if you have time.
