Nestled amongst the mountains just outside of the township of Whittlesea our 40-acre property sits above the clouds.  This experience comes with sweeping views, a hidden waterfall, a clear campground, and plenty of wildlife. 

The camping area is accessible by 4WD only, otherwise, strap on a backpack and earn it! (800m walk/hike from where a non-4WD can park). The waterfall is reached by a single trail track from the campsite, and you do need to be an experienced hiker to get to the waterfall. Which is part of the appeal! 

We welcome self-contained campers, who bring their own toilet and take all waste with them. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy.

Or choose to stay in our beautiful A-frame cabin, with plush bedding, cozy fire, and outdoor lounge.  More than anything else this is a place to relax and be away from normal, live outside yourself, and rediscover what weekends are for. 

Dogs are welcome, so long as they don't bother the wildlife. 

Campfires are allowed, BYO firewood or campers can collect fallen timber from the property.

37 acre farm nestled between Cardinia Reservoir and Lysterfield Lake Park.

Beautiful isolated property with giant tree ferns, bushland and grassy paddocks. The campsite is next to our spring fed dam and backs onto 10acres of bushland. The dam is great for kayaking, swimming, fishing. There is plenty of room for footy, cricket, volleyball or just relaxing. Our farm is home to our 5 pet cows, 12 sheep, 3 Goats, 6 horses and chooks. Kangaroo, deer, echidna and wombats are seen roaming daily. We grow our own fruit and veggies, make preserves and also have bee hives. We are opening our farm up to share our country lifestyle.

Mt Martha Bushland Hideaway

This property was originally part of a large farmland, divided into 5 acre lots. When we purchased in 1997, there wasn't a single tree on the place.
Over the years, we have revegetated the property with native and indigenous bushland, created a wetland that attracts many native animals including birds, lizards, possums and frogs to name a few.
Enjoy a hidden country escape on our 5 acre property on the Mornington Peninsula. Property features a wetland with jetty, roaming peacocks, chickens and sheep in an open woodland setting. A relaxed country atmosphere conveniently located near beaches, wineries, op shops and restaurants.
Up to 3 sites available (max 1 caravan/camper or 2 tents/dwellings per site)
Ideal for groups or individual campers.
Our property is surrounded on two sides by reserve, the Balcombe Creek and bushland.
BYO gear and set up in the paddock.
We will meet you on arrival and direct you to the campsites.
Access to a flushing toilet and a cold water tap/cold water shower with potable drinking water. 
We prefer no dogs due to peacocks and sheep and our own dogs... but please ask before booking anyway, and we will accommodate on a case-by-case basis.
We are a 5 to 10-minute drive to the beautiful bay beaches of Mornington and Mt Martha and a 20-minute drive to Westernport bay and the surf beaches.
Close to the nearly 60 wineries on the Mornington Peninsula, an abundance of restaurants,  Peninsula Hot Springs and other attractions such as Arthurs Sea Eagle cable car, Enchanted Maze Garden, and many amazing bush walks.

Eucalyptus Forest

This 40 acre property is located 1 hour from Melbourne. The perfect staging location to explore Bunyip State Park, Cardinia Reservoir and short drive en-route to the Yarra Valley 

Come and enjoy the cascades, swimming holes and waterfalls surrounding the property. Set amonst a beautiful and expansive old eucalyptus forest and pasture fields.

Meet our and take a ride on our pet horse and donkey. 

Campers must adhere to strict fire restrictions over summer and property owners guidelines.

Pets are not allowed.

Our property is located right in the middle of the beautiful Bass Coast and allows easy access to all the stunning beaches, walks and wildlife that this part of the coast has to offer.We are 2 minutes from the Bass River which has calm water and is great spot for kayaking and swimming. If you are looking for a beach then Kilcunda & San Remo are only a 10 minutes drive away.We are also close to Maru koala & animal park and the famous Penguin Parade. San Remo has a number of café and restaurant options and the Bass coast has a number of beautiful walking and bike riding trails all within easy reach. Five years ago we set out to find acreage because we were relocating a spectacular house. The property had to suit our future Home. We always loved the Bass Coast, many treasured childhood memories of Phillip Island and surrounds. So we found this lovely property by a miracle and decided to move to Bass - 5 years later here we are. This area is rich in Australian history, beautiful beaches, undulating hills, wildlife, the list goes on. A great lifestyle for the whole family. We are literally a living proof, with 3 generations living under one roof. We would love to share this experience with others. Our large, grassy sites are the perfect place to set up camp after a day of exploring and to enjoy the ambiance and the serenity of the starlit sky. You might be lucky enough to spot a shooting star.Seasonal farm fresh produce can be made available. Try some of our delicious Free Range Eggs, Pure Aussie Honey, and our local Dairy produce. If you'd like us to Pre order a BBQ pack from our local butchers, just give us 24 hours notice. Other essentials are available at our store.Due to restrictions in the area, we are unfortunately unable to allow fires at this time.Anything else we haven't covered, just ask your hosts Desmond & Barbara.

Krystal Waters

Located on Phillip Island Road just before the town of San Remo and the bridge to Phillip Island. The property is 26 acres with beach frontage to Western Port Bay and views of French Island. 

The land has been used for pasture, mostly for cattle, with a large dam wall which at one time had a small gauge train track on top running to the old port of San Remo. These days the property is used as a hobby farm with a few cattle, a vegetable garden, some fruit trees, and replanting of native trees.

We offer three RV/tent sites on the property, with our caretaker also residing onsite. While the sites ensure privacy, guests may encounter others during their stay since restroom facilities are shared among all campers. There is 1 shower with hot water and 1 flushing toilet. Site 1 stands apart from the other two sites, equipped with both power and water. Sites 2 and 3 are situated 20 meters apart, however, guests can spread out more if they do not need power.

We're currently in the process of expanding our property, constructing several new sheds. As a result, you might notice building materials on-site. We've made every effort to separate these materials from the campsites and keep them out of the way.

Our site is on a very busy main road and is easy to miss if you’re driving fast. I have a big sign on our gate but you may need to slow down in order to see it! The GPS should guide you right to the property. 

Please note, because of our elevated location the winds can be strong at times - but the views make it worth it in our opinion!

Access to rocky shoreline via trail along fence line. Will have to walk along tall grass, but doable.
