Our 25 acre Hipcamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites . We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden & Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness & Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away. Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The two best sites for swimming are The River Bend and The Willows. We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time. We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking. We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water. Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site! We do have an area to launch your motor or paddle boat or jet ski We are on the banks of the magnificent Murray River and all our three sites are absolute river frontage with uninterrupted views up, down and across the Murray River. Amazing place to stay, really private, sheltered with plenty of shade as well as sun. Right next to the river with a lovely big pebble beach area. Picnic table, hot shower and nice clean toilet, hammock, fire pit, some cooking facilities, deck chairs on the beach area, fresh lemons (seasonal). Both myself and my dog loved our stay here, it would also be good for larger groups but I loved having it all to myself.

Weekend Trip to High Country Paradise

Our family stayed the weekend and had a fantastic experience! We were warmly greeted by the friendly host and her lovely dog, which made us feel welcome straight away. The campsites were spacious and peaceful, with plenty of room to spread out! The creek was absolutely gorgeous- crystal clear and such a beautiful spot. Plenty of wildlife too! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic getaway. There’s also a glamping tent for anyone wanting more luxury. We can’t wait to return in warmer weather to truly take advantage of the stunning creek. The only area for improvement would be the toilet block which could do with a tidy and stock up, but this certainly didn’t change our experience overall and we’d definitely return!

Easy to find, gracious and no fuss host, grassy and level picturesque spot by the Ovens River that has the best collection of skimming rocks (see if your child can beat my eldest’s record of eight skips before hitting the opposite bank!). 4 nights at Myrtle Beech Campground

Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful river setting. Plenty of bird life to see and hear. Lucky to spend half an hour watching a platypus feed. Fire every night. Michael gives clear directions. Warmly welcomes. Has a list of things to do, places to eat, wineries etc in the area. He is proud of what he offers, has plans to make you feel even more spoilt. Walk or ride to town.

Great to have such a quiet place to ourselves with lovely views. Also great to have access to power for our e-bikes a little lounge area to escape the heat and the flies that were around that day. A little expensive for just 2 of us but would be cheap for groups. Excellent instructions And easy to access.

Weekend Trip to Willowood

Exceeded my expectations! Absolutely beautiful spot. I camped for 2 nights with my sons aged 6 and 18 months. Perfect mix of swallow water swimming for the boys and deep water for adults. Caught a couple healthy looking fish as well. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you Sally!

Weekend Trip to Myrtle Beech Campground

This is one of the best camps I have stayed at! Michael has made such an effort to make the whole trip a success, from giving good directions, greeting you at arrival and showing you where to go. He also has a list of things to do in the area which was super helpful. The sites are green and private. I could even walk barefoot on the lawn which doesn’t happen often in Aus! The toilets and showers are super clean and bins are provided which again makes the stay easy. Easy river access and only a short walk from town. We will def be back

What an amazing place to rest and relax. The sites were huge with fire pits provided. Lots of shade and sun depending on your preference. All you can hear is the sound of the water and birds. There were lots of flies but even people in town had the same issue. I would highly recommend Willowood. I will be back.

Weekend Trip to Willowbank on the Murray

Great camp site with lots of space and access to the Murray river. Site was clean and easy to access with a smaller trailer. Think a big caravan would struggle a bit to be honest. Dog friendly and lots of space for them to run! Besides the flies this campsite is great.
