The tourist villages of Newstead, Clunes and Maldon are all a short drive away, and Daylesford is just 35km drive.  Campfires are permitted when fire bans are not in place. NOTE: We do offer the neighbouring 50-acre paddock for hunting/shooting - with conditions. Please note, this activity is offered separately to our Hipcamp operation and needs to be organised with us directly. There are great 4WD tracks located around the area and a short 15 minute trip to Torquay or Aireys Inlet, 10 minutes to Geelong and Winchelsea amenities are close by, but you will feel a world away from it all here. There is no toilet facilities at the camp ground, but you will find a public toilet about 400 meters from the camp site located at the Wurdale Hall

Enjoy the serenity! Bring your horses and your dog, bring your guitar, a good book, even bring a golf set and a bucket of balls. You will have 80 acres of stunning country all to yourselves. Only one booking taken at a time. No one else will be anywhere near! Self-contained campers only, please bring in what you need, and take all waste with you. Base price covers up to 8 people, with capacity capped at 12 people.  The land is characterised by rolling hills, covered by mostly open grassland, with patches of gum trees for shade, and a dam and creek. There's also a native eucalypt forest right across the road with miles of fire trails for walking and horse riding. In the cooler months, the land turns from shades of gold to greens.  There are no facilities, its just you and the land (bliss!) so ensure you have everything you need with you, and take all your waste when you leave.  If you fancy fresh fish for dinner, just down the road is Tuki Trout Farm, or nearby Cairn Curran Reservoir and Tullaroop Reservoir are great for fishing. The tourist villages of Newstead, Clunes and Maldon are all a short drive away, and Daylesford is just 35km drive.  Campfires are permitted when fire bans are not in place. NOTE: We do offer the neighbouring 50-acre paddock for hunting/shooting - with conditions. Please note, this activity is offered separately to our Hipcamp operation and needs to be organised with us directly. Also, we do not allow hunting/shooting next door, if there is a group camping already.

My 2 daughters, our dog and I had a great stay at Redbank Farm. The facilities are great and provide most of the home comforts which is very important to a 14 yr old. Beds are really comfy, fire pit was a treat at night. Crystal was really responsive and great to deal with. Highly recommend .

Great little spot that's out of town but still only a few minutes away from shops, gym and 15mins to Geelong CBD. We stayed before heading to the Spirit of Tasmania. The paddock is flat with shady trees dotted around and situated on a quiet deadend road.

A spectacular place to stay. From lying in bed in the large tent watching the sheep and birds, cooking over the open fire, and enjoying the breeze while in the outdoor bath, we enjoyed every moment of it. Greeted warmly by the host on arrival. Adequate amenities provided for cooking and cleaning, and plenty of blankets to stay warm. Easy to buy firewood from the hosts - we let them know beforehand, and the firewood already at our campsite ready to use. We also really enjoyed the short hike up the hills to be greeted with amazing views. Would highly recommend, and hope we can come here again soon.
