Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. 1 night at Possum Bush Retreat FARMSTAY

Possum Bush Retreat was bloody awesome! As an adventure rider it was such a beautiful place to moto camp. I stayed at the ridge camp site, bit of a hill climb to get up to it but nothing too difficult. It was scenic, peaceful and had the whole place to myself. Sharni and Graham were super friendly hosts, They made me feel welcome, made sure I had everything and plenty of firewood, I was even lucky enough to ride passenger in their off road buggies to see the whole property. Highly recommend this spot!

We had the absolute best stay at Kookaburra Park! The camp sites are spread out so you don’t feel on top of other campers. The animal experiences are great and not only for kids!! And it’s dog friendly! Shout out to Steve and Oakley who are great hosts and their love for the land and the animals shows. Would definitely return!

The farmland and animals are absolutely beautiful and most farm animals are rescues which I love, they all have a story! The animals are all very trusting of human touch. It’s just a fantastic get away experience tbh. The host is lovely and very accommodating. I had such a lovely time and experience. Will be returning without a doubt!

What an amazing place to stay. The house's were very nice. We stayed 2 nites and it was just so relaxing. The creek behind was great to take our chairs to and sit in. Wasn't much water as not much rain but was still beautiful. We definitely will be back

We loved camping at Kookaburra Park. It’s a perfect set up for families. Our allocated spot was in the paddock and we were happily surprised to find our site had water and power, and was nice and close to the great ammenities. Truly the best mix of camping with creature comforts without feeling on top of other guests. Our little one loved the very well organised animal feeding (guinea pigs, goats, sheep, deer, ducks, geese and pigs) and the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. We can’t wait to go back.

Weekend Trip to Bunya Red Farm

Mandy and Alan were very welcoming. They greeted us on arrival, gave us the lay of the land and the rundown on the amenities. About 4ish, Alan came dosn and rounded up the 4 kids and whisked them off into the next yard to feed the alpacas. Unfortunately we got rained out and couldn't stay the planned two nights, but the kids had a ball mucking about in the rain and chasing the frogs about. The amenities are fantastic - best campground shower I've ever had. The kitchen area is well-configured and we found anything we hsd forgotten to pack was probably in there. I'm definitely keen to stay again, hopefully during some cooler and more predictable weather.

My wife and I had such a nice time on the farm. We both loved the cabin and how you could get up and close with all the animals. It was a nice touch having the door next to the kitchen set up where you could pat and brush the cows and goats right there! We also were given a jar of chicken feed and some hay for the animals so we could feed them when we wanted - and they were all so used to humans. We recommend staying here if you want to dewind and not have to listen to the city noise everyday. Thankyou for the amazing experience. Christine and Dylan

Bunya Red Farm was really fantastic! The caper farm tour was very interesting (and delicious) and feeding the alpacas was a highlight. The grounds were so picturesque with farmland views in all directions. We loved the star-filled night sky and serenity of the place. Mandy and Allen were incredible hosts. Would recommend a stay in a heartbeat.

Weekend Trip to The Block at Hazeldean

We absolutely loved staying at Sean's property over the long weekend. Sean was great to deal with and very accommodating. The property is so close to 2 x boat ramps at Somerset Dam and Kilcoy. It was a great base for long days on the lake. The Shack was clean and had everything that you needed and the beds were so comfy. There were board games and ball games to keep the kids entertained and they even had a telescope where we could show the kids the moon up close. The whole property is large and quiet, and we honestly can't wait to come back again. Thanks for an awesome stay Sean!
