There’s also a large communal area with a campfire pit, close to the water for a great view, with steps for easy access to the creek, ideal for social gatherings. This communal area has log seating around the fire, hammocks in the trees and sandy tracks to the creek where you can throw in a line.
Guests with horses can bring up to two per booking. You may set up a portable yard off your float or request a private paddock, this needs to be arranged in advance. Please note that stallions are not permitted. Horse-related activities, require at least one week’s notice prior to your stay.
The creek is tidal, offering opportunities to fish, swim, or explore by stand-up paddleboard or inflatable boat. Pony rides for children are available at an additional cost, payable in cash on the day & subject to availability. Msg Jenna at least 1 week prior to book this. Buckets of goat feed can also be purchased to hand feed the goats during your stay. We currently have 3 kids who are very cuddly and cute with twins due any day now.

When you arrive over the old iron bridge you will see a gate and signage on the left.
We have three sites available to book.
Site 1 looks west towards the family home but further enough away to feel private it overlooks the dam and has the most space for larger caravans or motor homes.
Site 2 looks East and faces away from the family home.
Site 3 Is nestled under the trees and overlooks the creek.
All sites sit on an area of approx 1/2 Acre and can be rented seperately so you may have neighbours depending on bookings.
For families with young children we have a dam and a creek so it is your responsibility to ensure that your children are supervised around these water sources. Please consider this when making your booking.
Our policy is no noise after 9pm and we ask that sites be left in the same state as they were on arrival.
The property is Located close to the heart of Eumundi you can take a nice stroll up the lane, enjoy a camp fire (fire pits provided for you), relax under the stars, enjoy the many cafes and restaurants with just a short 4min drive and of course the world famous Eumundi Markets is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
We are also only 9mins to Cooroy and 20mins to Noosa. The beautiful town of Kenilworth is 20mins away. We are a rural facility, our very rationale is back to nature, simplified living. There are attendant risks, snakes, falling branches, ticks, uneven paths, water holes, dark nights, even bushfire. You can minimise your risks by being snake and bushfire aware, always using a torch at night, taking care and staying alert when walking, watching your children. Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat.

The creek is tidal, offering opportunities to fish, swim, or explore by stand-up paddleboard or inflatable boat. Bellbunya allows campfires (except on Queensland fire ban days) with the requirement that we can check that all safety precautions are in place and that we can check that they are completely out by the end of the day. Please work with us so that everyone feels comfortable about safety precautions.
We are a rural facility, our very rationale is back to nature, simplified living. There are attendant risks, snakes, falling branches, ticks, uneven paths, water holes, dark nights, even bushfire. You can minimise your risks by being snake and bushfire aware, always using a torch at night, taking care and staying alert when walking, watching your children. YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL DANGERS AND POTENTIAL ACCIDENTS VISITING BELLBUNYA, and indemnify the Association for Sustainable Communities Inc and all its employees and agents from any liability.

Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans or Hybrids sorry, too steep and tight.
Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat.
Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult.
Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them.
Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests.
Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.)
Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. Site 5 is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush.
Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer.
Site 2 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons.
Site 3 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons.
Site 4 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons.
Site 5 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons.
ACCESS INFO SITES 1-3 & 5: STANDARD 4WD or walk in.
ACCESS INFO SITE 4: LOW RANGE, VERY STEEP, EXPERIENCED 4WDERS WITH MIN AT TYRES. NO CAMPER TRAILERS.

We are located 3 minutes from Montville and 7 min to Palmwoods.
There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more.
Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

A beautiful property that is well maintained. It was close to Eumundi and the highway. Lots of green grass for the kids and dog to have a run. Spacious sites and water. We extended our stay and Rob was very hospitable and friendly.

We camped in the overflow area so we could use the fire pits. It's a massive open area with shaded spots closer to the creek for the afternoon sun. Not mowed as short as the showpiece area a bit further on. We had the area to ourselves. The main camp area is very nice and would be the most amazing spot for families with kids. Heaps of flat well maintained grass for games etc. So close to Eumundi for the markets and Tewantin/Noosa. A short drive to Kenilworth. Great position.

A great place to spend a quiet couple of nights. A very well maintained area surrounded by nature. Only a 5-10 minute drive to Eumundi and Cooroy. But if you want to do nothing but relax, this is an ideal place to do it.

Jacqui had the camping spot nicely set up with Hammocks, coffee and tea ready to enjoy.
There was lots to do around the area as well,

Camping at site 2 down by the creek is where it’s at. The horses and goats were so friendly, roaming around your campsite. Kayaks by the river to use and a nice communal fire pit to sit around. Beautiful stay, will be back ☺️

We had an agenda while we were on the Sunshine Coast, and Happy Haven was well situated for us. Katrina & Co. were very friendly and nonintrusive, except maybe for the large mower first thing in the morning. The facilities were suitably accommodating and the availability of firewood was a pleasant extra. Thanks for having us, we’ll book again.

We recently stayed at Horseshoe Hideaway Hipcamp for our very first Hipcamp experience — and our first trip away in our caravan — and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to both!
The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the horses were such a highlight. We were honestly surprised by how friendly and gentle they were. It made the whole stay feel really special, especially for our girls.
Jenna was an absolutely wonderful host. She kindly took our two girls for a pony ride and made them feel completely comfortable and excited. She’s warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she does. We also really appreciated her taking the time to teach us all about the horses — it added so much to the experience.
Thank you for such a memorable first Hipcamp stay. We’d happily recommend Horseshoe Hideaway to anyone looking for a unique and family-friendly getaway!
