Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise.
Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended.
There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites.
Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. The Village green is also host to monthly markets and music events, children's playground, shared office space, book exchange, weekly pingpong and exercise groups.
Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family.
The Bakery is Open Friday nights, Saturday and Wednesday mornings for Bread, Pastries and Coffees.
The Conondale General store is a 10-minute drive away and Maleny is a short 25-minute drive filled with quaint cafes, Woolworths, IGA, and many attractive stores, art galleries and a bustling music venue.

The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities.
We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

Nestled on a stunning 23-acre property, only 15 to 25 minutes from most locations between Noosa and Mooloolaba, you’ll feel a world away from it all. Whether you prefer camping among lush, dense rainforest or remote walking camp atop a hill surrounded by majestic eucalypts, this property offers the perfect retreat for nature lovers.
A seasonal creek winds through the rainforest, creating a serene soundtrack when flowing, while a spacious, flat grassed area near 'The Field' campsite is ideal for small groups.
Even rainy days are no problem here—an enclosed and covered cooking fire pit ensures cozy nights, rain, hail or shine. Nearby, a large undercover area (6m x 9m) provides a comfortable spot for meals or simply escaping the elements.
Campers will also appreciate the convenience of flushing toilets and hot showers, making your stay even more enjoyable.
A few things to note:
- The property is located on a dirt road, adding to its secluded charm.
- Phone reception is minimal (maybe one bar for Telstra and none for other providers).
- To preserve the natural environment, pets are not permitted.
- This is not a child friendly campsite due to some of our flora and fauna as well as our properties resident dogs.
- Due to the property being in a valley, it is not suitable for parties as the noise from parties is amplified on the mountains and does tend to anoy the neighbouring properties.

Beautiful and secluded paddock at the back of our house on one and a half acres, located in Cooloola Cove.
PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING.
A perfect spot to explore the area and a jump off point for K'gari/Fraser Island.
Amenities include: fire pit (bring your own wood), camp oven cooking pit, full BBQ kitchen in the fully powered shed with huge commercial fridge and running/drinkable water.
The kitchen includes plates/bowls/cutlery/knives/mugs/glasses/frying pans/pots, there's a toaster/kettle/microwave, a big gas BBQ with a hotplate and BBQ utensils/tongs etc. There's also camp ovens and a jaffle iron.
Guests can also enjoy access to an outdoor bathroom with a shower, toilet and a beautiful claw footed bathtub!
Pets are welcome, but the yard is only partially block fenced. So any escape artists would have an easy time absconding.

We only accept one booking at a time so you’ll have the space all to yourself.
Only a 10 min drive to Tin Can bay and 15 mins to Rainbow Beach - and a Woolworths/bakery/bottle shop 5 mins down the road.
Please let us know approximate arrival times when possible, and any arrivals after 7pm, by prior arrangement.
THINGS TO CONSIDER:
Unfortunately we can only accommodate tent/camper trailer bookings and not large motorhomes or towed caravans of any kind.
Flooding does occur during rainy season, roughly January to April, which can make the site and area inaccessible. Please check/consider conditions when booking and in the lead up to your stay.
During the months of September and October we have nesting birds on the property and swooping can be issue and something to keep in mind if any of your group have an aversion to birds.
As per Hipcamp rules/insurance policy, there must be a person over 18 years old on site with any under 18s during the stay.

We found "100 Acres" easily thanks to very clear directions. The campsite was clean, beautiful, and perfectly flat with freshly mowed grass right beside the creek. We loved cooking over the provided firepit and watching the abundant birdlife. It was great that the site was fenced off from the grazing cattle, giving us peace of mind while we explored. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the property, visiting "The Orchard", and trekking up the main track for the beautiful hill views. Thank you, John and Tenille, for a wonderfully refreshing stay!

We loved our stay at hidden camp! The boys loved the animals, all so friendly and happy for a pat (and some snacks!) The sunsets in the hammock were my favourite. Leah and Callan were so friendly and helpful always checking in and coming to my rescue buggying my heavy water jugs back down to our campsite and another block of chocolate for our smores kit when we ate it all on the first night 😂 We can't wait to come back ❤️

We had an incredible experience at Hidden Camp. The location is beautiful, with plenty of space to explore, play and to find your own little space not on top of other campers. I know the amenities are in the process of being renovated but everything available to us was clean, accessible and well maintained. There was so much to keep the kids entertained, the roaming animals were so friendly and gentle which was such a great experience for the kids, even my youngest who is typically anxious around animals loved it. Callan and his team were fantastic hosts, arrival was easy, and they do a really wonderful job of running the place. I would 10/10 recommend this spot.

Absolutely worth a visit！
You can tell the owners put real care into details you wouldn't even notice at first glance, which is often the hardest thing to pull off. They've kept the natural, original ecosystem intact while still providing all the comforts and conveniences you need. It's clear a huge amount of effort and hard work went into every corner of this place～well done！
The vibe here is relaxed, private, safe, and welcoming. Callan was warm and friendly, and could even call every animal by name — a small detail that says a lot about the level of care and love that goes into this place.

The Presentation of the Orchard is super. Great view, well maintained, excellent grass cover and so well fenced even our 4.5kg toy cavoodle had no hope of escaping. So relaxing.John and Tenille you are to be congratulated. We will definetely be back.

What stood out the most was the friendly greeting on arrival, Heather goes out of her way to make sure all her campers are comfortable and have everything they need for an enjoyable relaxing stay. Heathers retreat is all that it says, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. They are very close to Gunalda with a lovely Bakery, Pub and mini supermarket.

We loved the open spaces, how easy it was to find a quiet site amongst the gums, the interaction with the animals, go karting down the hills and the friendly warm welcome we received. It let our kids embrace the serenity and wonder of nature all around you. Can’t wait to return one day!
Note: This is a true farm/country experience so if you’re unlucky enough to have rain during your stay, just embrace the mud, pack some gumboots and enjoy marshmallows around your campfire!

Had an absolutely amazing stay at hidden camp!! Was such a highlight waking up with donkeys and horses and goats surrounding our campervan. All the animals were so friendly and made the site so special. So peaceful and great facilities, could not recommend more!!

What an awesome spot!
The showers and amenities are coming along nicely. There’s plenty of portaloos around to spread the campers out around the property. Even during school holidays, there was space for everyone.
The animals are so friendly. In fact I was so distracted by the animals I missed the meeting spot to meet the owners to get to my campsite!
There are spots by the dam and plenty of flat, shaded or open sites depending what you are looking for. There are plenty of fire pits available and welcome to collect your own firewood or purchase on site.
