- - - Update - - - Our resident girl goats have just had 5 cheeky kids - so if your kids are looking for a unique and cute school holiday experience - while camping in a beautiful spot - right on the creek - let us know and we’ll arrange an up close farm animal interaction with the new arrivals! 🐐 If you’re camping out - surrounded by nature - you don’t also need to be surrounded by other campers. That’s why we only have a few spacious campsites, with wide stretching buffers between each site. Nestled in Noosa’s hinterland, set in the beautiful rolling hills of Mary Valley. A gentle, picturesque drive along a sealed road, only 7 kms from the quaint township of Amamoor, (destination for the renowned “Mary Valley Rattler” steam engine), brings you to the idlic “Amamoor Creek Camping Retreat”; A country camping retreat set on 100 plus special, private acres, of ancient remnant forests to lush creek flats, with easily accessed campsite areas (2 wheel drive vehicle access), adjacent to the permanent and private mountain creek, that meanders through the property, and is home to various fish species and its own family of platypus. Resident wildlife, such as echidnas, wallabies and deer, to the resident farm animals, of chooks, goats (which can be hand fed upon request), a barnyard cat and even a few cheeky Jack Russells - kids and older ones are sure to be entertained. 100’s of km’s of tracks for the 4WD and dirt biking enthusiasts, or horse riders to explore, throughout the adjacent National Parks and Forests, All this only 7 kms from the famous ‘Gympie Music Muster’ (held annually; August 28-31, 2025).     ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Creekside Getaway We absolutely loved our stay at Creekside Campsite 1! The site is a private little hideaway that offers everything you'd want for a relaxing camping escape. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful creek running nearby, lush green grass, and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the surroundings. One of the highlights was spending time with the friendly goats, which added so much charm to the experience. The host, Stephen, was fantastic. He was easy to communicate with, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed while still giving us plenty of privacy to enjoy our weekend. This was one of our favourite Hipcamp stays, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-hosted getaway! 🌿🏕️🐐

    A private hideaway with the perfect hosts! This place is just lovely - quiet, peaceful, a creek, lush green grass, plenty of space, and the friendliest of goats to hang out with. Loved Loved Loved staying here and will definitely be back! The host, Stephen, was so easy to deal with, and went above and beyond to make sure we had whatever we needed whilst leaving us to enjoy our weekend. Could not recommend this camp enough.
