Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. The hand built rock chimney is the feature piece of the front of the cabin so be sure to check it out and get a few pics.

The Avondale Pub is 1km away with great meals and drinks, and the Bucca Pub is 10 minutes away with weekend entertainment. Jo's road house is just up the road and has all the essentials food wise with great pizzas, and fuel. Next to Jo's is an RACQ centre and mechanics. All this at your fingertips or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet in amongst the large gum trees and native lemon scented gums.

This campsite is located at Captain Creek. 15kms from Agnes water 1770. on 40 acres with a seasonal creek. We have a lovely natural bush setting with privacy. Suited for off grid campers. You will see kangaroos and lots of bird life to watch.
Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast).
Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and a picnic table for meals.
Plenty of space for bushwalking or sit back around camp fire or just read books. There are some great mountain views to be seen while walking around and site seeing, and Eurimbula National Park is close by. For boating and fishing enthusiasts, the beach is just a few mins drive away.

On the main road to Agnes Waters, a mere 30 minutes north, is my little slice of paradise. There is a total of 40 acres of bushland here which suffered a huge bushfire a couple of years ago. Now the regrowth is charging up out of the ground and threatening to take over my lifestyle!
While I am a new owner of this lovely land and trying to get a start on building a cabin to live in and starting gardens to feed myself, I offer an area to Hipcampers!
It is not much, as there is nothing here. I am living off grid and have minimal water catchment, so I cannot offer you any water or power at your site....yet (watch this space).
Guests can pitch a tent or park your camper/caravan among the native gums, wattles and grass trees in one of two large drive through sites.
At this stage there are no facilities here, so you will need to be fully self sufficient in regards to toilet, water and power.
There is a slight slope, so if you have a van, it will need levelling.
Camp fires welcome and plenty of undergrowth nearby to forage for wood.
Pets are welcome but must remain on the leash at all times. The property is not fenced from the road or neighboring properties. I also have two dogs who can be protective.
Please inform me ahead at the time of booking if you are bringing pets.
There is a seasonal creek that runs through the property about 100m away. It is a bush trek to get to it (ie: no pathways, yet). And another larger one at the very back end of the property in a gully. Should you wish to get adventurous.

Pitch your tent, camper trailer, camper van or motor home on our beautiful farm. Once you have set up, sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet as you gaze up at the stars around the campfire.
If you go for a night time torch-light wonder you will most likely spot one of our many resident frogs and may even see an owl. With an abundant range of bird life on our farmplease feel free to have a walk around the farm and see what you can spot. Keep your eyes out for our farm animals who graze freely on the farm. We have chickens and pigs as well and are happy for you to have a look if you let us know in advance.
Firewood @ $15 per bag and fresh eggs @$6.00 per dozen are available for purchase and my chef /husband is happy to create a tailored dinner and/ or breakfast if we know in advance for an additional cost. (If you would like meals prepared for you, please send us a message in advance so we can have your food organised and prepared for your arrival).

Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast).
Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and a picnic table for meals.
Plenty of space for bushwalking or sit back around camp fire or just read books. There are some great mountain views to be seen while walking around and site seeing, and Eurimbula National Park is close by. For boating and fishing enthusiasts, the beach is just a few mins drive away.

While I am a new owner of this lovely land and trying to get a start on building a cabin to live in and starting gardens to feed myself, I offer an area to Hipcampers!
It is not much, as there is nothing here. I am living off grid and have minimal water catchment, so I cannot offer you any water or power at your site....yet (watch this space).
Guests can pitch a tent or park your camper/caravan among the native gums, wattles and grass trees in one of two large drive through sites.
At this stage there are no facilities here, so you will need to be fully self sufficient in regards to toilet, water and power.
There is a slight slope, so if you have a van, it will need levelling.
Camp fires welcome and plenty of undergrowth nearby to forage for wood.
Pets are welcome but must remain on the leash at all times. The property is not fenced from the road or neighboring properties. I also have two dogs who can be protective.
Please inform me ahead at the time of booking if you are bringing pets.
There is a seasonal creek that runs through the property about 100m away. It is a bush trek to get to it (ie: no pathways, yet). And another larger one at the very back end of the property in a gully. Should you wish to get adventurous.

We have chickens and pigs as well and are happy for you to have a look if you let us know in advance.
Firewood @ $15 per bag and fresh eggs @$6.00 per dozen are available for purchase and my chef /husband is happy to create a tailored dinner and/ or breakfast if we know in advance for an additional cost. (If you would like meals prepared for you, please send us a message in advance so we can have your food organised and prepared for your arrival).

This was a great location for a peaceful break. A wonderful outlook across paddocks and a dam. A catch up with the cattle who were very friendly and keen for a feed. Nice camp for the night just off the Bruce Highway in amongst the mango trees.
Yunnick was a very welcoming host, and gave us some yummy mangos.
