Our campsites have near 300-degree views of the surrounding Tully Valley, down private gullies or open grasslands. Other options in the area include sky diving, white water rafting, bush or coastal walking, swimming in pristine fresh or saltwater or star gazing this region has it all. Pets are welcome but must be under control at all times. We have a passion for the environment, agriculture and reducing the amount of waste created by humans, we try to reuse and repurposing as much of our own and others waste as possible. Heidi & Mike really are superb hosts and their secluded creek-side property is utterly amazing. We were spoilt for choice for creekside areas to park our caravan, all of the potential sites were equally stunning, beautifully level with a lush buffalo grass carpet. The wildlife was abundant and a true joy for birdwatchers - Victoia's Riflebirds, Wompoo Fruit Doves, Emerald Doves, Spotted Catbirds, Forrest Kingfishers and Honeyeaters. We didn't get to see a Tree Kangaroo but we did see Platypus swimming in the creek next to camp. Amazing!! Heidi & Mike, thanks for sharing your sensational slice of paradise, and we most certainly will return.

Hectic Valley is a young and working farm and we really enjoyed our stay! The sites are very generous, with plenty of shady trees (bring your hammock!) and some right next to the dam which hosts many birds and some of the farms poultry. Its dog friendly with lovely scenery and little bush tracks. Campfires allowed and some fire rings are provided. In the booking was the option to include the animal feeding in the morning which I'm so glad we did! We were very warmely welcomed and everyone had a wonderful time feeding and playing with the baby goats, chickens and geese, goats and pigs, camels and water buffalos and many more! Best stay for families with children including groups of families!

The area provided is huge, the site is well maintained, and the creek is beautiful with easy access and can be very close to camp if you wanted. We have had the privilege of experiencing this beautiful camp in Summer, Winter, and Spring, and each time it has revealed a new kind of magic. Picture this: You emerge from your camper shortly after sunrise to discover a pale mist curling through the trees, softening the edges of the waking rainforest; transforming your camp-site into a quiet dream. Dew-beaded spiderwebs cling to the trees, and glimmer across the sprawling green lawn like tiny gems as the first rays of sunlight filter through the fog. The intriguing call of the Wompoo Fruit Dove beckons you on a lazy stroll along the banks of the trickling stream. A flash of blue darts by you; the Azure Kingfisher is fishing for his morning meal. Movements in the tree just outside your camper door, the Olive backed Sunbirds are busily flitting from branch to branch. The world around you feels hushed and new-touched by the calm, lingering magic of dawn. For those of you that have visited before, there are some fun developments taking place at camp. I won't divulge too many secrets, you'll have to discover them for yourself. Hints: Where does that quirky creek crossing lead to? What exactly is a 'loo with a view' ? For those who haven't been, you can rest assured that Heidi and Mike are wonderful hosts that keep the property in mint condition, and are always looking for ways to improve your camp experience. Can anyone spot the Wompoo Dove in my woeful pic, or the sneaky- rather large but chilled out:) -Scrub Python we saw?

So many birds, the weather is so much cooler than the coast and the hosts Alan and Sue are super friendly and make you feel at home on their gorgeous property.
