Nice grassy campsite with plenty of room, unfortunately no direct access to river at the site but can access river near the house. Hosts are genuine lovely people and very welcoming. Short drive into Malanda for supplies. We purchased their firewood for our portable pit which was great. Bunch of friendly cows may visit and our dog loved playing with Connie the border collie, will stay again soon.

This was a lovely family orientated campground with a great backdrop of the hills behind Cairns and lots of bird life in the trees. The bathroom was nice and modern and very clean. The laundry facilities were also excellent. There is lots to do here with pools, waterpark and golf. Pizza at the bar was also really good.

The camp's location is also incredibly convenient, sitting close enough to the famous Innot Hot Springs for an easy, rejuvenating day trip—a definite must-do. Above all, the entire experience is made deeply memorable by the owner, Mari, who is genuinely friendly, warm, and ensures every single guest feels immediately welcome and perfectly cared for. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility and a genuine bush experience.

We had the whole place to ourselves and it was as the ad says 'serenity' 😌 Only a quick drive to the hot springs and to archer creek depending if you want warm or cold water it was the perfect spot! 2wd accessible as well! It was the perfect escape for the long weekend 🙌 Thanks Mari!

Lots of trees and birds. Little bit of noise from the highway but no big deal. Herbeton is great to visit.

Really enjoyed this friendly, well organised campsite. Not too organised, just comfortable. One of our favourite stays. Lots of space, great facilities and full of natural beauty. Close to the wonderful Herberton Historic Visit which sounds like a school outing but was utterly wonderful.

We stumbled across this bush camp and it turned out to be a hidden gem! The open space was perfect—plenty of room to spread out, with large sites easily big enough to fit two or three vans. It was incredibly peaceful, with nothing but the sounds of nature around us.
At night, the stars put on an incredible show—so clear and beautiful, we could’ve watched the sky for hours. Best of all, it was super affordable, making it a great option for families or anyone travelling on a budget.
If you're after a quiet, no-fuss spot to unwind and enjoy the bush, this place is a winner. Also only a short 5 minute drive to Innot Hot Springs.
