We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Yes: Rocky Creek Homestead is the venue for ""Camping with Goats"! Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play. Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat. We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times. We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dinning and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs. Children under 4 are free.

Come and relax at our flat, peaceful 5 acre hobby farm. Most animals wander around for example the sheep, ducks and chooks, turkeys So tough plastic boxes are great to keep your food items safe. We have a mini pig (Splat) that is now in the house yard due to pushing fences and getttongbout She loves pats, runs and a brush. She is super gentle. Sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a barrista coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow while your staying here. The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. Set up where ever you like. We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. We have a mini pig (Splat) that is now in the house yard due to pushing fences and getttongbout She loves pats, runs and a brush. She is super gentle. Sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a barrista coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow while your staying here. The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. Set up where ever you like. The Croft provides a quiet place to sit relax and take in the fresh air. We With 49 species of birds and clear skies above at night to shine a light on how big the universe is. We are also home to endangered GREATER GLIDERS at The Croft! You will have a 5-acres to explore during your visit with a large flat campsite area with power and water if that is what you need. The onsite caravan – BETTY – is available for you if you need a bit more of a glamping holiday. Toilet is a composting toot. Self sufficient sites are available as well in another part of The Croft property near the dam and is accessed via the main property. Options for visitors are tailored for the horse rider however you don’t need a horse to visit and enjoy what The Croft has to offer. You can also spend time with the horses here with a variety of experiences available as extras and as part of package deals and our flag ship Back in the Saddle retreat option. There are many things to do in Blackbutt as well as spending some time at The Croft. Every 3rd Sunday is our market day, the renowned Blackbutt Bakery is always at your disposal and a great pub for a pub grub night. The horse trails network is 500m up the road and has signage with town 1 hour ride away which I can take you on a ride to on the 3rd Sunday Market Day! I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay. All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area. THIS IS THE AUSSIE BUSH so please if you cant handle smells and snakes, try the HYATT in NOOSA!

We have 40 acres of picturesque farmland situated near the Atkinson Dam. On the property you can enjoy swimming in the dam or just sitting under the shade of my many lovely big trees. Some have koalas residents, so bring your camera! We are a hobby farm with animals roaming around including horses and pigs. We are family and children friendly but can also cater for larger get-togethers that require more space as whole paddocks are available. We are located 20 minutes from the Wivenhoe Dam, Gatton or Fernvale which are the bigger towns to get supplies. We are only 10 minutes away from Lowood. All these towns have great pubs and delicious, affordable meals. There are weekend markets, wineries, creeks, lookouts, historical villages and fabulous vintage shops to experience and explore! Drive through camping sites for Caravans, Campers, RVs and tents are easily accessed by a short drive through the paddock, all year round. Stop overs welcome or stay a few nights to take in what the area has to offer. Guests are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Take advantage of camping near the large farm dam, abundant with wildlife. Sit back and relax beside calming effect of the water or take in the lifestyle of small acre farming. Animals on the property include cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry and horses. Pets are welcome however must remain respectful to livestock and other pets. See a working windmill pump water for domestic use, and see how gravity aids in supplying stored water. Featuring Muntapa Tunnel, a single bore man made Tunnel for trainline to cross the great deviding range. Campers can enjoy a 1.5km walk along the old Cooyar trainline to the eastern entrance of the tunnel, where you can follow the path to public BBQ and toilet facilities, vehicle access available by public road as well.

Amazing spot. Creek was low but the new dam is great (full and clean - awesome spot for a swim). Great camping spot, well looked after and recently mowed. (Mower also in the firewood shed if you need it!) The firewood is great and great value. Few porta-loos around the property that are always clean. I was very surprised by the low amount of people at the property- must be a great kept secret - saw less than 10 people over the entire new years period. Try the goat pie and goat curry - both amazing.

After a really hard year my soul needed to go out bush. I spent 3 nights at Somerset Valley Farm and it was exactly what I needed! Site 14 is so secluded and quiet, I only saw people walking past once on my last day. I couldn't recommend this place more! There was a beautiful dog that came and checked on me most days which was beautiful. The whole experience was perfect and I feel so much better, more grounded, and generally brighter. I will be going back again on a regular basis.

This was the first stop on our roadtrip and it was just magic. Had a beautiful spot in our van with a great view of the sunset over the mountain. The onsite shop and cafe are so lovely and walking through the lavender paddock in the morning was just gorgeous. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much! (Advice to other travellers, if you are in a converted camper you will access the site fine if it’s dry. Might struggle in the wet but not too sketchy)
