There is also plenty of space outside for additional guests to set up tents.
The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable staying including, toilet, shower and kitchen area with plenty of hot water available. Aircon and fans for you to use at your discretion. Indoor wood heater for your enjoyment at no extra charge.
The outlook is to a wooded valley with sheep and cattle, light the campfire in the evenings and sit under the stars. Take the kids for a hike up through the hill and check out the various land types.

We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane.
The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude.
From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest.
There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway.
It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest.

I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay.
All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area.

2 nights at Kincaple Ridge
We spent two nights at The Ridge and wished we'd stayed longer. Everything was so well thought out and so private. It felt like we were the first people to ever stay - kept in pristene condition, clean and tidy. The views were unreal, us and our pup Sadie were in Paradise!
The hosts were warm and accomodating, super helpful and friendly. We can't wait to come back.

We had the most amazing glamping experience! Eloise is so friendly, and you can tell that every little detail has been really thought through. The scenery is absolutely beautiful.
We stayed for one night midweek and honestly didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect little escape, so peaceful and relaxing, but still with everything you could want for a really comfortable stay.
We’ll definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a peaceful little getaway with a bit of luxury and some very cute neighbours 🐄✨

We absolutely loved our stay at Kincaple Ridge! It was the perfect escape from the noise and busyness of the city — so peaceful, quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. At night, the sky was incredible and the stars were so bright and clear.
The tent was warm, cosy and super comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always ready to help if we needed anything.
Such a beautiful and peaceful place to slow down, relax and enjoy the countryside. We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to come back! ❤️

Eloise was absolutely lovely and so welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everything was so well thought out, from the electric blankets and heaps of lighting to the BBQ for convenience — we genuinely only needed to pack our clothes and food/drinks!
The tent itself was amazing, so spacious, comfortable and beautifully set up. It definitely felt like luxury glamping! Having such a clean porta loo that actually smelt nice made the whole experience even more comfortable
We had the most beautiful sunset with the fire going, amazing views

It’s secluded enough to have family time and privacy but not difficult to locate.
Hosts are so helpful and informative. The site has EVERYTHING one could need and some. Highly recommend!

We had the best glamping experience and couldn't have asked for a better host! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning landscapes. Watching the breathtaking sunset, sitting by the beautifully positioned fire pit, and gazing at the incredible star-filled sky made for an unforgettable stay.
The accommodation was fully self-contained with everything we needed, and the toilet was absolutely spotless, which made our stay even more comfortable.
We loved meeting all the friendly animals-cows, calves, horses, chickens, and the adorable goats. One of the highlights was collecting fresh eggs from the chicken coop—it was such a fun experience!
Our fur baby had just as much fun as we did, with plenty of space to explore and enjoy.
This was truly the best glamping experience we've ever had, thanks to the amazing host and the beautiful property. We can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Kincaple Ridge
We had such an amazing stay! The glamping site was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could have asked for. The setup was cosy, peaceful and felt like the perfect little escape from everyday life.
The location was stunning, especially at night with the fire going and the stars above us. It was the perfect place to slow down, switch off and spend some quality time together.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and every little detail made the stay feel really special. We honestly couldn’t fault it and would 100% recommend staying here. We’re already looking forward to coming back! 🌿🔥✨

Shack on Kent is such a hidden gem of a hip camp! This was a last minute booking due to change of the weather and what a pleasant surprise. The shack is such a quirky little place that has everything you need. We loved the addition of the indoor fire and donkey for the hot water.
The area is so peaceful and quiet - we only heard the birds and the residents cows!
The winter night sky was so clear we could easily see the Milkyway and the sunsets are utterly breathtaking.
Rose was such a lovely host and very welcoming and helpful.
We feel privileged to find this place and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Rose and Denis (and the resident cows).

Weekend Trip to Kincaple Ridge
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was easily one of the best Hipcamp stays we’ve had. The views from the hill are breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the clear night sky was perfect for stargazing. Waking up to that view each morning was something special.
The hosts have thought of everything. The bell tent was beautifully presented with a super comfy bed, soft bedding, electric blankets, lighting, comfortable seating, drinking and washing water, and even a portable power station, so we didn’t need to worry about bringing much at all.
The friendly cows coming over for pats made the experience even more memorable. It was peaceful, comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time.
Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing glamping getaway with incredible views.

Weekend Trip to Kincaple Ridge
My partner and I had the privilege of being the first guests to stay in the Ridge yurt and it set the bar impossibly high. Every detail has been thought through. The king bed was genuinely plush and warm, the winter blankets were spot on, and waking up to that view over the mountains was worth the trip alone.
The site is fully self contained exactly as described. We packed an esky and that was all we needed. The BBQ, campfire cooking setup, utensils and sink made meals easy, and the private toilet was clean and well kept. The lounge chairs inside the yurt are a great touch.
Eloise was a fantastic host, communicative and clearly proud of what they've built here. It’s rare that a first stay anywhere runs this smoothly, let alone a brand new site. If this is what the Ridge looks like from day one, future guests are in for something special. We’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend

Weekend Trip to Moyle Manor Camping 001
I booked this place at the last minute because I couldn't go camping freely with my partner due to the weather. I had low expectations since it wasn't a place I had planned to visit in advance, but when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. They have everything you need and more. I didn't expect it to be so well-equipped. I didn't even need to use my camping gear. We had a wonderful, romantic, and cozy night. I think I'll definitely go back.
Would I recommend it to others? Absolutely.

We loved staying here. The area is beautiful, the sunsets stunning, the space and quiet such a nice change from everyday life. The cabin is old school, rustic charm, with everything you need. The kids loved cooking over the open fire and being responsible for the donkey so we could all have hot showers before bed. Rose and Dennis are lovely people, and our timing even saw the kids help Rose feed the horses one afternoon. I'd recommend arriving before dark as it's easier to find however a quick call to Rose saw her and Dennis come out to meet and direct us. Highly recommend.
