We have cattle; alpacas; grow capers, peanuts and other seasonal crops. The farm also enjoys a sky full of stars at night with the lights of Kingaroy and wind farm sparkling in the distance. Bunya Red Farm is 8 kms off the Bunya Highway, with the last few kilometres of gravel road accessible by 2WD, motorhomes or buses. TV and mobile reception is excellent. Pet friendly (see rules). Campers must have own amenities for their chosen site and leave no trace. Campfires permitted but check with hosts first regarding local fire bans before lighting a fire. 4WD required for some sites only if camping in the wet.

Options for visitors are tailored for the horse rider however you don’t need a horse to visit and enjoy what The Croft has to offer. You can also spend time with the horses here with a variety of experiences available as extras and as part of package deals and our flag ship Back in the Saddle retreat option. There are many things to do in Blackbutt as well as spending some time at The Croft. Every 3rd Sunday is our market day, the renowned Blackbutt Bakery is always at your disposal and a great pub for a pub grub night. The horse trails network is 500m up the road and has signage with town 1 hour ride away which I can take you on a ride to on the 3rd Sunday Market Day! I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay. All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area. THIS IS THE AUSSIE BUSH so please if you cant handle smells and snakes, try the HYATT in NOOSA!

Anduramba Bush Camping is located on a 300 acre property approximately 15 minutes south of Blackbutt, Qld. The campsite is on top of a hill with great views. There’s a small cabin on site, you can book the campsite either with or without this. The cabin is quite basic, it has 12v lighting with a USB port suitable for charging phones etc, and a bunk bed with mattresses (double bottom, single top), but you'll need to bring your own bedding. Property features - - Dogs welcome (just don't let them wander off) - Portaloo (flushing) - Shower hut (uses shower bags) - Non drinkable water available for washing etc, BYO drinking water - Firewood available to collect - Table tennis table free to use - Covered concrete area underneath a shed awning which you can use - Good phone reception at the campsite - Accessible by 4WD or 2WD via Blackbutt, Esk or Crow's Nest, however after extreme rain events this can sometimes change due to flooding or damage to the road. We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Weekend Trip to Bushland Waters

So I think the biggest surprise for me was that you can't swim. The waterfall (photographed) is actually a small water feature less than 0.6m deep, there is only shallow stagnant water, no where to swim. But it does make a pretty relaxing sounds. However, we had an amazing time!!! The hammocks were so relaxing, the outside bathtubs had hot water! It was romantic and calming. The yurt really is so unique and comfortable. We went in summer and even without AC, the fan provided and the design of the tent- was suprisingly cool. Worth noting very limited cooking facilities e.g. camp stove and small BBQ, no microwave. But the pub in town makes a brilliant steak and parmy. No bubbly or charcuterie board (for display only - not provided) Mold on yurt - honestly it was immaculately clean inside and an outside white fabric structure will have this but worth noting if you have asthma or immunocompromised. Overall would stay again. They had the softest pillows and bathmat. Bathroom is immaculate clean and lovely smelling with fresh towels provided. Communication was easy and we had our privacy. Is about 500m from main house, but we didn't see another soul and hosts were lovely about giving directions.

Every little detail has been thought of for an exceptional level of comfort but it still feels like a true bush camping experience. The waterfall at the front of your bed each morning, the bathtubs for bubble baths under the stars, and the level of care, cleanliness and pride that goes into it is a credit to them. Bev and Ian were perfect hosts. They have thought of absolutely everything - right down to the hamper of luxuries and great quality bath products. Everything is provided - just bring food and drinks. For those who want to camp with luxury this is fantastic. Baths under the stars are a highlight and the tent is superb. Ian's lanscaping and waterfalls are fantastic and Bev's touches are apparent throughout. Well worth the money for the solitude. five stars.

Booked a one night stay here for my girlfriend and I’s 1 year anniversary. I got to say it was absolutely perfect. The owner Bev was incredibly kind, I had contacted her prior to the stay to set up an anniversary surprise and she nailed it. Had the most beautiful flowers on the bed along with rose petals set up in a heart, chocolates, face masks, candles for the baths, and that’s not even half of it. Not to mention the campsite was beautiful had plenty privacy, would 1000% recommend to stay here and we will definitely be returning again.

Me and my partner stayed here and we have to say it was the most beautiful & tranquil stay we have had so far in Australia. Bev & Ian were so lovely, helpful and attentive. The photos really do not do it justice. From the little welcome hamper, to the outside bathtubs looking at the stary sky it was absolutely incredible. Bev & Ian provided everything you could need to make this truly the most beautiful little stay. We would definitely recommend booking & will hopefully return!!

My wife and I had such a nice time on the farm. We both loved the cabin and how you could get up and close with all the animals. It was a nice touch having the door next to the kitchen set up where you could pat and brush the cows and goats right there! We also were given a jar of chicken feed and some hay for the animals so we could feed them when we wanted - and they were all so used to humans. Beautiful, but watch out for GimpyGimpy

Great place for walks, but watch out for the mighty Gimpy-Gimpy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dendrocnide_moroides, a very unpleasant experience for get in contact with. It was a learning experience for the whole family, unfortunately they are everywhere, as well on the designated footpath. My worries would be with small children, but saw adults getting in contact , like me and other that were not aware. The Forrest themselves are beautiful.
