This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top
Mount Elliot and flinders peak are in national
Park area. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm
Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area.
Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing .
How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

•we have toilet and shower facilities available near the camp kitchen up on top of the hill area and rubbish bin provided on site. Which is 150 mtrs from the main open space area.
The camp kitchen area and camp ground can be booked for private functions when available.

Easy site to find with plenty of space. Busy Easter weekend but plenty of room to spread out. Lovely hosts, Brett and Julie very friendly and accommodating. Easy access to town, slight road noise but didnt bother us. Got to meet the friendly goats and alpacas!

I arrived looking a little lost and the lovely Tania gave me a tour on the buggy it was fantastic! the sunset and sunrise here is incredible and you can choose to be a bit more private down the hill in some lovely spots or up by the common area which has wifi, full kitchen, TV, everything you need really. This place is so well looked after and loved, can’t wait to go back with friends.

We stayed at panic room.
Was great having a porta loo on site as I was camping with my two daughters.
I wouldn’t recommend taking an AWD car on the routes as ground clearance is a must.
The roads are fun, had to use low range at some points which was good. The drive up to Jinnys look out is very fun, 4L all the way.
The outdoor shower down at the stables was a great hit.
Will definitely be back, the freedom on the farm is so good.

We had the most amazing time! The views from Site 6 were incredible with rolling hills and countless cows. The younger ones even came by the roll the football with us! The site was easy to find with the printed map they provide and the drive up was bumpy and definitely 4WD only. No waterfall due to the scorching temperatures but I’m sure would be flowing after a bit of rain. We couldn’t hear or see anyone from the other sites so very private and peaceful. Would highly recommend!

Great site, freshly mowed and right next to Jinny’s lookout. Really fun 4wd track. Unfortunately part of the track was closed but still managed get up there to what was a fantastic spot with a view. The tracks getting to and from other sites are also fun and the property is stunning overall.

Stayed at Site 1, though did a drive around and checked many of the sites, all looked brilliant. Loved our stay. Wish we'd done longer. Definitely take heed of posts stating the need for a 4WD with some experience in using it. Mines lifted, running proper Muddies that i aired down and very nearly didn't make it up to site 9. But brilliant Allround .

Where to go
The North Gorge Headlands Walk
This walk is not to be missed, as the boardwalk offers stunning views of the gorge, and is a great place for spotting turtles, dolphins, and whales (between May and November).
Naree Budjong Djara National Park walking tracks
Six walking tracks run through the park, five of which start in the car park at Blue Lake (Kaboora), about 9 km from Dunwich. Some tracks have limited shade, so early morning walks are best, especially in summer. The most challenging track is Kabul (carpet snake), which has long steep sections. The Jarlo (fire beetle) track offers views to the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and the Glass House Mountains to the north.
Brown Lake (Lake Bummiera)
Brown Lake is stained by the tannin from the leaves of surrounding tea trees and paperbarks. It is only 3.5 km from Dunwich and a great place for birdwatching and wildflowers, while waterside trails allow you to walk the lake’s perimeter.
Moreton Bay Marine Park
Snorkel or scuba dive with giant manta rays and lazy leopard sharks in Moreton Bay Marine Park on a tour with a local outfitter. At Manta Bommie, off the island’s northeast corner, these amazing creatures are unfazed by swimmers above them. The excursion might also include sightings of turtles, dolphins, and bull sharks.
When to go
North Stradbroke Island’s subtropical climate makes it a year-round destination. Summers are warm and sometimes rainy, while winters are mild. Temperatures range from 22–30°C in summer (December to February), and in winter (June to August), you can expect 12–20°C.
Know before you go
- Bookings and camping permits are essential on North Stradbroke Island.
- A regular passenger and car ferry service operates from Brisbane, or you can take a private water taxi. The crossing takes about 30 minutes, and ferries are met by local buses at Dunwich.
- If travelling without camping gear, Straddie Camper Trailer & Camping Equipment Hire at Point Lookout can provide everything you need—and they’ll even set up camp for you. First-time campers can get extra instruction to feel prepared.
- The best place to see the sensational Straddie sunsets is at Amity Point, on the northernmost tip of the island.
- Blue Lake (Kaboora) is a place of cultural significance for the Quandamooka people and should be respected. Swimming is not allowed—instead, soak up the beauty of what is known as the "deep, silent pool."
