Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Back Paddock Botanical - Lavender and Herb farm was established in 2023 and although not fully grown yet the plants add a peaceful ambience to the already beautiful countryside around Goombungee. Flowering time for our Lavender Plants is usually November to January, however this can change depending on the weather we get during the season. All campsites are well spaced and private, with non-potable (Bore) water available for washing up after dinner! Wake up to the sound of Kookaburras and cockatoos and enjoy your morning cuppa while watching the grazing Wallabies/Kangaroos and keep and eye out for Echidnas and Koalas. We love dogs and well behaved canine family members are always welcome at our campsites, however please respect the biosecurity of the lavender by not allowing them into the fields and please make sure they do not roam to other campsites. Nestled along the banks of a pristine section of the Yabba Creek, there are large swimming holes for all water activities and shallow rapids great for the kids to play in. The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. 4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Fresh farm eggs can be bought if available at the time. This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans. The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens. We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study. While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets must be kept safe with you at night. Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans. The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens. We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study. While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets must be kept safe with you at night. Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

We stayed at the Mountain View site at Yabba Creek Farm and had the most amazing time. The site is spacious, has a purpose built shelter, and is beautifully green, with stunning views all around. The shelter that’s been built is fantastic — open and airy, allowing the breeze through while still providing great cover. Having a hooked-up shower was an added bonus, and being so close to the river made the experience even more special. Kaylea and Dean are wonderful hosts. They have created a peaceful, well thought out, and truly wonderful place to relax and reconnect with nature. We can’t wait to come back — highly, highly recommend!

We were on Grey Gums site. Lovely campsite - plan to stay again! Huge space allocated - could fit multiple families. Each site has a fire pit. Creek was clean and lovely to swim in morning and afternoon. Loved seeing the horses galloping in the paddock just 30m away. Kids loved the animal petting - chickens, Guinea pig, blue tongue lizard, turkey, pony ride! Felt very private and relaxing with so much space around us.

Great place, stayed for five nights as this was our second time, lovely big swimming dam with a board jump, kids would love it, there is little running creek, more so when rain has been, very pieceful, a few marsh flies, Jacinta and jason are lovely. We will be back.

We had a very relaxing 3 days on site 3. A big open field surrounded by beautiful trees. It was freshly mown on arrival. A short walk to town but still very quiet. The river another short walk for a swim. It was rocky and not too deep but we still spent plenty of time swimming. Overall excellent value and we will visit again.

Beautiful, large well kept sites with lawn. The Silky Oak site was shady during the day and conveniently close to both toilets and the rustic outdoor shower. We appreciate the 'maximum people per site' rule because it cant get too busy. Also loved the 'no loud music' rule! Hosts met us on arrival and were helpful and friendly, providing information regarding the camp grounds and the surrounding area etc. The access to the water from our site was a very short, easy walk. The water was amazing in that it was clean and gradually got deeper - suitable for both children and adults. We will definitely be back!

Yabba Ridge is such a beautiful spot with unique livestock (long horns, wallabies, guinea fowl, ostriches, deer, etc) and friendly animals. Arna and Luke are personable and polite, easy to contact, and take amazing care of the property. Best camping amenities with hot water, good water pressure, and clean toilets and showers. Have stayed at Top and Lower Flats and both are fantastic with different positive aspects. This spot has become an annual camping destination for my friends and I and would 100% reccomend to anyone wanting to camp in the area!

From the moment we arrived at A Place To Call Home and met Thea we knew this place was pretty special. Thea could not be more helpful and took the time to help us find the perfect site for us. Which it definitely was! This would be up there being one of our favourite camping spots. It was just so beautiful, relaxing and calming. The serenity was amazing. We were happy to sit in the creek on the chairs provided by Thea, relax and enjoy the arvo with a drink and watch the day pass by and the wildlife too! Highly recommend A Place To Call Home!

Location, peacefulness and serenity were fabulous. Stayed one night during the week and had the place to ourselves, except for 2 lovely, friendly dogs to keep us company. While the toilet facilities "seem" rustic at first they work extremely well, however we unfortunately did not have enough time to try out the "donkey" shower but hope to if we stop there again. Check in process was simple, just provide your info at the kiosk and go find a place to camp. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend for those that like it quiet and rustic.

Our property is located on the site of the First Kilkivan Township and was home to a gold rush in 1868 where a 73 oz nugget was discovered. Guests will have access to a portable toilet and fire pit throughout their stay. Gold is still found in and around the creek with fossicking permitted at an extra daily rate of $25 per person. As this is private property we require that all the QLD Fossicking Act rules and regulations are followed this includes having your own permit which must be supplied before fossicking is permitted. These rules include no machinery or pump operated sluices such as high banking sluices. Detectors are welcome and some great finds have been found with them including gold and coins from the 1860’s. Large groups are welcome. There are many great shaded camping spots along the creek or a large open area of about 50 acres for larger groups. Tuchekoi Ranch is located conveniently just off the Old Bruce Highway, its a good spot to stop for a night or linger longer to enjoy all the Mary Valley River has to offer. We have 7 sites, four are powered, with water hook ups and fire pits, the other three have water available. At present ( soon to change ) there are no toilets or showers so please ensure you have a chemical toilet with you. Your hosts Chris and Lesley maintain the grounds to a pristine, high standard and are proud to share their peaceful and serene surroundings with their campers. There is river access on the property, where you can kayak and fish on the Mary River - flood conditions permitting ! Bring along your furry friends too - they are welcome and love the space to run around and meet other friends, please supervise them at all times and if they are likely to be unfriendly to other dogs please keep them on the leash at all times, please pick up after them and respect other peoples camping areas. We are just a short drive to Pomona, Cooran, Eumundi, and Cooroy where you'll find quaint shops, bakeries and markets, the stunning Noosa beaches are a 25 minute picturesque drive away.

Our property is located in the beautiful Kandanga Valley which is a part of the amazing Mary Valley. Kandanga Creek runs along our property where the camp site are located. We are surrounded by mountains and the Imbil forestry is at the top of our valley. We are only 45 minutes to Noosa, 20 minutes to the Amamoor Country Music Muster, only 1 km to Mitchell Creek Rock and Blues Festival, 15 minutes to Borumba Dam. We own a working Dairy Farm, the next property on from the camping site. Opposite the camping grounds we plant summer feed (White Sorghum Silage) and Winter feed (Oats or Barley). Bring you own fire pits. All weather access road, if towing please use 4WD. Please note we do not have drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. *All guests (including children) must be added to the booking request. *Children 5 and under are free (noted in message attached to booking) *Firewood available by the bag to purchase. *Smoking discouraged for the comfort of guests. * The platypus can be sighted in the creek. There is a family of 3 friendly deer that roam our property, so keep an eye out they are beautiful. * There is fencing along the creek bank for safety for little children.
