Located on 100 acres of serene land, our campsite at Stockyard Creek is a nature lover's paradise. The seasonal creek, which crosses the Burnet Highway, is dotted with several waterholes and surrounded by several cleared lawn campsites. Visitors are encouraged to take a leisurely bushwalk and follow the creek, where they may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of large kangaroos and deer. Horses are kept on the property, and for those who prefer to stay on the ground, the animals are kept separate from the camp sites. Our campsite is situated in the picturesque town of Wyalla, which is located between Nanango and Goomeri, with Kingaroy to the west. Please note that during heavy rainfall, the creek may overflow, so visitors should be aware of the weather conditions. In addition to the natural beauty of the area, we also provide portable toilet facilities for our guests. Beautiful place to go iv been a couple times now and the kids and I loved it easy to get to the camp sites nice and quiet will be going again Even found fossil footprints at the creek Big thumbs up from me 👍

Camping at stockyard Creek, was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It was awesome when the free roaming big horses came to inspect our campsite, and left as quietly as they arrived. A very calming place to camp and wake up in the early morning to the sound of nature. Would 100% camp here again.

Stockyard Creek Camping

We thoroughly enjoyed camping on Kath and Pete's property. The peaceful and private site under the trees was exactly what we were looking for. Trees, shade, fire-pit with plenty of wood to easily collect, kangaroos hopping around, and plenty of flat ground to pitch a tent. All thats needed for a relaxing weekend of camping with friends. Would camp here again in future and happily recommend to friends. Thanks Kath and Pete!
