Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Granite Cascades is a nature retreat in a beautiful area on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in the headwaters of the Mary River. Here you can enjoy nature at its best. Granite Cascades offer beautiful creekside private camping on a total of 160 acres which is a Nature Refuge and protected area. We are at the end of dirt road so you feel you are in the middle of a wilderness. This is a quiet retreat where you can soak in nature, restore your soul and relax. There is a mixture of eucalypt forests and rainforests in the headwaters of the Mary river. The creek is inviting to explore with swimming pools to cool down. The forest here is diverse, from subtropical rainforest to open eucalypt forest. There are walking tracks which let you explore more of what the property has to offer. If you fancy a Sunday coffee or relaxing breakfast we are only 5kms from Crystal Waters Ecovillage (They host movies, markets, music nights, yoga, artisan bakery and a cafe). I am an artist and manage my property for its ecological value. I love to share my love of this special place with others. Guided nature walks can be also arranged.

What a magic spot "Hidden gem"was. Great creek views , Shaddy and cool in the heat of the day, down a little path have a dip in the creek to cool down. Private and quiet camp site would highly recommend camping here. Also what a legend Dean was , I forgot some pots and pans, Dean was able to give us a hand so we were able to cook our dinners. Thank you Dean

Stayed at Maluka Park in Imbil and absolutely loved it. The property is set right on a beautiful creek, The grounds themselves were immaculate – you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping everything tidy and welcoming. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around. Huge shoutout to the owners, Brian and Jeanna. They were genuinely lovely people, super friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived and gave us a tour of the grounds. Highly recommend this spot if you want a clean, quiet, well-kept campground in a great location. Will definitely be back!

Loved camping at the ‘Stones throw’ site at Yabba creek! It had great access to the water for swimming and the creek was a lovely peaceful place to go out kayaking (kayaks provided). The whole property was beautiful and we loved how private our site was from the rest of the farm. Lovely place for the dog to run around and Kaylea and dean were very friendly and checked in on us after storms, they also made sure to let us know about all the walking paths and facilities around which was very helpful. No bins or showers but the site had a hose and the town just five mins up the road had plenty of skip bins available.

Sensational as usual. Place to myself, creek was running, water was cold on those hot days and storms at night. Too hot to do the hikes but I was content with sitting under the little fig tree reading and swimming the day away.

Beautiful grounds ... well maintained and awesome to be amongst the horses, cows and general wildlife. Great views back to the nearby mountainside. We were really impressed with the owner's strict policy around quiet time after 9pm. A very peaceful night. Definitely recommend :)

By far the best HIP Camp we have stayed at. A beautifully maintained property, nicely spaced sites, flushing toilets and a lovely refreshing , deep creek to swim in. Added bonus of free kayaks available to use. Brian and Jana are super friendly. Made it all so easy and enjoyable. Gone to number one on our list.... but dont tell everyone!!

Very lovely camp area with plenty to do and see. We went for afternoon walks, took some kayaks up and down the creek, and walked up to the lookout at sunset, which had an incredible view. Bathroom amenities are great and everything else was well kept.
