Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks. You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles. Access is 4WD or AWD only. In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather. Campers must be self sufficient with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome.

Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. The property is set right on a beautiful creek, The grounds themselves were immaculate – you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping everything tidy and welcoming. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around. Huge shoutout to the owners, Brian and Jeanna. They were genuinely lovely people, super friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived and gave us a tour of the grounds. Highly recommend this spot if you want a clean, quiet, well-kept campground in a great location. Will definitely be back!

Loved camping at the ‘Stones throw’ site at Yabba creek! It had great access to the water for swimming and the creek was a lovely peaceful place to go out kayaking (kayaks provided). The whole property was beautiful and we loved how private our site was from the rest of the farm. Lovely place for the dog to run around and Kaylea and dean were very friendly and checked in on us after storms, they also made sure to let us know about all the walking paths and facilities around which was very helpful. No bins or showers but the site had a hose and the town just five mins up the road had plenty of skip bins available.

There are three sites on the lower river flat, all separated giving privacy. Kayaks are kept in a designated site for all to use.

The best thing is it’s an absolutely banging spot!! The flat ground near the river allows you to setup camp close by the water and cook on the Barby within a long jump of the water. We caught eel catfish, longfin eel and bass right next to camp 3. The only negative is lack of amenities for the money. A long drop or non-potable tap on the high ground would be absolutely amazing. Each camp site in the lower area has their own fire pit with a metal ring that heats up over 30-60 mins. You can stick a rotisserie over the top and bang out a roast lamb!! Overall I loved the spot!

Great spot at Site 2 a stones throw from Kennilworh but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. If is hot, a five minute walk down to the Mary river for a dip. Shane was welcoming and helpful. Plenty to do in and around Kenilworth, hiking 4WDing, swimming holes and don't forget 2 try the "coffee donut" in town.
