Situated 45 minutes drive from Bundaberg, our 320 acre property has a small goat farm and 270 acres of bushland to explore. Take a walk through the trails or follow along the dry creek bed (seasonal). There are plenty of kangaroo, bandicoots, goannas, water dragons, koalas, and varieties of bird life to catch a glimpse of. We back on to Littabella national park where there is more to discover. There are 4WD tracks through Littabella National Park, take a half day adventure through the track to Rosedale pub for lunch and come home, making a complete circle. Trail bikes may be driven through the national park. We are close to Baffle Creek for excellent fishing. There is an annual family fishing festival in September. Or try Lake Monduran about a half hour drive where there is great fishing, kayaking and swimming. There are many state forests and national parks nearby to explore. 20 minutes to Rosedale, 30 minutes to Norval park Beach where you can 4WD during the winter months and see turtles nesting October to March, 20 minutes to Baffle Creek southern boat ramp at Winfield, or 40 minutes to Baffle Creek, 45 minutes to Bundaberg. 1 hour to Agnes Water. 2 hours to Hervey Bay. 5 hours to Brisbane. Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Free firewood, collect as much as you need from around the property. We have a small apiary, and our happy bees enjoy the tree blossoms way up in the treetops. They do produce plenty of yummy honey, so ask if we have any available.

Take a walk through the trails or follow along the dry creek bed (seasonal). There are plenty of kangaroo, bandicoots, goannas, water dragons, koalas, and varieties of bird life to catch a glimpse of. We back on to Littabella national park where there is more to discover. There are 4WD tracks through Littabella National Park, take a half day adventure through the track to Rosedale pub for lunch and come home, making a complete circle. Trail bikes may be driven through the national park. We are close to Baffle Creek for excellent fishing. There is an annual family fishing festival in September. Or try Lake Monduran about a half hour drive where there is great fishing, kayaking and swimming. There are many state forests and national parks nearby to explore. 20 minutes to Rosedale, 30 minutes to Norval park Beach where you can 4WD during the winter months and see turtles nesting October to March, 20 minutes to Baffle Creek southern boat ramp at Winfield, or 40 minutes to Baffle Creek, 45 minutes to Bundaberg. 1 hour to Agnes Water. 2 hours to Hervey Bay. 5 hours to Brisbane. Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Free firewood, collect as much as you need from around the property. We have a small apiary, and our happy bees enjoy the tree blossoms way up in the treetops. They do produce plenty of yummy honey, so ask if we have any available.

This campsite is located at Captain Creek. 15kms from Agnes water 1770. on 40 acres with a seasonal creek. We have a lovely natural bush setting with privacy. Suited for off grid campers. You will see kangaroos and lots of bird life to watch. Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast). Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and a picnic table for meals. Plenty of space for bushwalking or sit back around camp fire or just read books. There are some great mountain views to be seen while walking around and site seeing, and Eurimbula National Park is close by. We recently had a fantastic time over the three days and two nights we stayed. If you are looking for space, peace and quiet, there is plenty of it here. The drive into the property is scenic, we saw a calf being born on the way in, lots of cattle, bird life including an emu & chick and horses. There's plenty to see and do, lots of wild life all over the property. Col and Blodwen were amazing and very friendly, made us feel welcome and at ease during our stay. There is plenty of camping area for larger gatherings or multiple groups. There's a RV site also for anyone to use. The directions to the property were easy to understand and if you have questions they are eager to help out. We missed the rain to get the creeks flowing but it didn't disappoint. We will be going back, most definitely. Not forgetting our two dogs got a very well deserved time away also.

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere initiated by John. Lot's of room for us in the Main Camp. My 7.7m long Mitsubishi Rosa (bus to motorhome conversion) handled the interesting track in from the main road without any issues at all. I quite like this park and look forward to future camps there.
