The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes.
Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums.
The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience.
A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals.
Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV.

UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills.
Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting.
Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience!
You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk.
Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars.
All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal.
NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted.
NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately.
NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. You’ll have a seat to sit on, a lid to close, and the need to throw some Leaves and grass in each time you go.

Our price of $25.00 per site is aimed at two adults and up to three children. Each set up (tent, van or vehicle) is a separate site. If you are a group of campers, each will need to book their own site. Please feel free to contact us should you require more details. 5 day maximum stay allowed.

we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers.
Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up.
Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly.
There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic!
Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers.

We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate.
Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots.
We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience.
If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates.
Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase .
We have a no dog policy
No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off.
We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm.
We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first.
If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip.

-Push bikes,
Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also.
-Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports
-Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye
-Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :)

The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore.
The site is flat and mowed with easy access from the road for caravans.
The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels.
Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)
**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. **
Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.
Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.
During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.

The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes.
Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums.
The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience.
A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals.
Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills.
Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting.
Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience!
You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk.
Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars.
All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal.
NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted.
NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately.

Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.

Exclusive private site on our 80acre WORKING* property just off the Warrego Highway at Haigslea.
*(Please note as we are 1km off the highway there is subsequent highway noise, we are immune to it, but as anything, some people may notice more than others.)
We are a working small rural property so with that comes seasonal tractor work/trucks and an element of busy, depending on what projects are on the go! Real taste of rural life while being smack bang in the privacy and serenity of our buzzing property!

The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore.
The site is flat and mowed with easy access from the road for caravans.
The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels.
Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)
**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. **
Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.
Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.
During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower, and drinking water supply.
A basic long drop outhouse is set up for guest use.

We have a several cattle and horses, and regularly kangaroo, hare, and eagles frequent the farm.
All overseen and kept in order by
the ever present "Ziggy" and "Harvey" our lovely English Pointers.
Enjoy lovely views and relaxed peaceful settings.
The farm is off grid but all the normal services are available.
We also have a little vegie garden that always needs a water, and the animals love their carrots and grain.
Close to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Fernvale, Upper Brisbane River and
Wivenhoe districts.
In the area, you may want to check out the township of Marburg (local pub, shops and coffee), Sundowner Hotel, Savages Crossing, or the RAAF Amberley Heritage Museum (plan ahead).
Friendly pets welcome as long as they are kept under control and
are not a danger to the livestock.

Only an hour north west from Brisbane, just over half an hour north from Ipswich.
We now have toilets. A semi self contained caravan is coming soon, hopefully ready by the Christmas holidays.
We purchased our block as a rural escape. It's 25 acres of koala protected bush. Camping is on grassy areas amongst the trees, this is basic bush camping suited to fully self sufficient campers. Our block is completely off grid, there is no power or water.
Listen to the birds, including the beautiful whip birds
Look for koalas and other wildlife: quails, ducks, birds, kangaroos, deer (our property is koala protected bush. Wildlife must not be disturbed).
Under a minute drive to local creek and swimming hole.
A few minutes drive to Wivenhoe dam recreation area.
15-minute drive to Fernvale for supplies (and one of the famous pies from the bakery).
20 minute drive to Somerset Dam for all your water sport fun.
Stop at a swimming hole or lookout on your way up to scenic Mt Glorious. We are About a 15 minute drive from Northbrook Gorge, a popular local hike.

A fire pit is provided at each site. Forage for wood on the ground only. Absolutely no axes/chainsaws etc are to touch our trees at all, they are koala protected.

Had an amazing stay, peaceful and private with the whole site to yourself. The facilities were clean and well thought out. Debbie was absolutely lovely, meeting us on arrival and showing us to and around the campsite. Such a beautiful space to spend some relaxing days at. Conveniently close to town if you need anything. Plus with the bike trail so close, bring your bikes for some adventurous fun.

We had the pleasure of meeting our host, Ryan, who was both warm and welcoming. His knowledge of the area and its history was impressive, and his passion for the land was truly evident. The care and dedication he puts into maintaining the HiCamp site really stood out.
The location itself was wonderful, offering the serenity and natural beauty of the Australian bush. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of having the space entirely to ourselves.

Highly recommend this spot for a quick, easy and affordable bush getaway so close to Brisbane. It’s probably best suited to families, but we’d happily stay again.
There’s loads to keep kids (and adults) entertained — beach volleyball, a basketball hoop, swings, plus easy access to some MTB trails, the BVRT and the Brisbane River kayaking.
The toilets were a welcome touch of luxury — very clean with soap and hand towels provided. Sam was friendly and extremely responsive to messages, which made the stay even better. Worth noting that if the wind blows from the highway direction, a little traffic noise can be noticeable.

Had an awesome weekend away at Oz Sky Ranch. The sites are nice and large and spread out. There are plenty of portaloo toilets as well as access to the event centre that has $2 showers and toilets. The Dam is the star of the show. It was so nice to swim and cool down. We even had a paddle around in the Kayaks. If your really keen you can also book yourself in for a tandem Hand gliding. Lisa the host was very friend and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

I loved tent camping at the top of the hill at site 39. The views were unmatched and the privacy was nice as it was Aus Day weekend and I was solo camping. Loved swimming and floating in the dam and the cows constantly grazing nearby. Everything was beautiful and I’ll definitely be back with friends and family next time as the vibe was very family friendly. Showers were nice and clean and I didn’t actually opt for a hot shower in the middle of summer but I did have a $2 coin on me in case. Amazing host and hospitality as well everything was super smooth. Will be back!

I enjoyed the 4 night I just had at the Ranch. The sites may be not level but plenty of space on each site. The dam was great to swim in. Loved seeing the cows, kangaroos, birds,etc. The owners are great, friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay! Great communication, very private. Beautiful facilities, a plunge pool with bar area, a dam to swim in as well. We camped a bit further away from the showers / loo at our own choice as we were a larger group. Brian didn't fail to notify us when a storm was about to hit. All in all a great experience!
