100 secluded acres located on the Gregory River approximately 15 minutes from Buxton township. The property is nestled amongst thousands of acres of national park for bush walkers an explorers. Guests need to be fully self contained and no toilets are on site. Access to the Gregory river enables fishing from the bank and a spot to place a crab pot to secure a local feed of fish or mud crab. There is also the option to put a kayak into the river from the bank. Campsites are located approximately 100m from the river bank so only a short walk to the water. Despite there being some snags, I have caught some very decent fish and crabs all from the property. For those wanting to spend a day on the water, I can guide guests in my boat to help land one of the many metre barramundi that call the river home. There are approximately 15 native beehives on the property and I am happy to show guests inside some hives as well as how to locate some in the wild for the interested bushwalkers and nature lovers. The property does not have power, water or toilets so please plan ahead. Significant rainfall can also make accessibility an issue along the 1km driveway so I would recommend a 4 wheel drive, however if it is dry a 2WD would be fine.

If you prefer a quieter spot, I make it a priority to assign campers the farthest firepit, Camp 4, nestled deep in the bush, providing you with a peaceful retreat away from any noise. Additionally I'm delighted to offer electricity to all camps, ensuring your comfort and convenience during your stay. Whether you choose a campsite closer to the amenities or opt for the tranquility of Camp 4, rest assured that you'll have access to electricity. While the dog motel may occasionally add a touch of canine charm to the soundscape, I'm confident that the overall experience at my Hipcamp will be an enjoyable one. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch. Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Some sites can accommodate more than 1 caravan - if you are travelling with others and want to share a site, please make a separate booking for them at one of the other sites and feel free to get them to share your site instead.

Situated 45 minutes drive from Bundaberg, our 320 acre property has a small goat farm and 270 acres of bushland to explore. Take a walk through the trails or follow along the dry creek bed (seasonal). The Heritage township of Childers is 5 minutes away by car, Woolies, restaurants as well as a main street that is very worth while walking down. Great coffee shops and interesting old Hotels. Welcome to Ripple Permaculture Farm! Take your pick from our various camp sites, where you can be parked up amongst it all, or tucked away in complete privacy! We are only 2 minutes off the highway and just a short 5 minutes drive from the small county town of Rosedale, with a general store, post office, hardware store, play ground, community hall, a fantastic cafe, and local pub with great meals! There’s no road noise here, though we do have the occasional train pass by across the road from the front driveway, which you’re pretty unlikely to hear if you choose a private site towards the rear of the 160 acre property! Choose from our various camp sites - you can be close the the central hub of the property, where you can easily fill your water tanks with drinkable (tested) bore water (we recommend boiling or filtering before drinking as you adjust to it), visit the farm animals (daily feedings at 4pm each day) and chat with your hosts if and when you wish; or you can enjoy your privacy further into the property on some huge clear sites amongst the trees (great for large gatherings too!) and explore some of our 160 acres, including our dams, permanent water hole (great for a little turn on the kayaks, provided!) and our shallow creek. We have composting toilets near the main hub, but don’t currently have any other amenities available for the more private sites further in - campers will need to be fully self contained, with their own camping toilet, no digging holes and please leave no trace. Dogs are welcome as long as they are supervised and don’t chase the livestock, and cats must be contained. Campfires are permitted if contained safely or in your own fire pit, when restrictions aren't in place. There’s plenty of free fire wood to gather, or can be made available to purchase for $10/bag. Fresh pasture raised chicken or quail eggs are also available to purchase for $6/dozen. Welcome to Billy Goat Plains, a 350 acre property where you can enjoy grassy open area to camp with access to a seasonal creek and swimming holes. Campfire are permitted and you can purchase a load of firewood with your booking at $10 ea. Friendly and contained pets are permitted. There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and clean up after yourself and your pets. Campers are welcome to walk around the farm or check out the old feed lot. Or cast a line and try your luck catching fresh water fish in the creek. There is plenty of wildlife including birds, lizards and kangaroos. Friendly township of Gin Gin is only 20 mins away, where you can find dump points and fresh groceries. Bundaberg, Childers, Mount Perry and Paradise Dam are only quiet country drive away.

A huge 350 acres to explore where you will find waterways, billabongs, hills, dams, mango trees and more. Walk through the seasonal creek, easily accessed at the Mango Grove, and see a lot of Quartz and other rocks. While exploring you could find Kangaroos, Echidnas, Goannas and many bird and plant species. Did we mention Gin Gin is only about 15 minutes away? So there's no need to worry if you need more Ice or Food! And if your interested in a day getting wet, Paradise Dam is only 40 minutes away. The area does have some places that we do not allow visitors due to needing clearing and cleaning. Please be mindful to stay away from the areas with 'junk'. We are trying to clear the place to turn it into somewhere magical and we appreciate your understanding until this occurs. It is a beautiful place and the price is currently low due to all of the ongoing work we are doing at the location.
