Broangus Bomber Wreck Rest

Gateway to the South Branch off Emu Creek with the site off the Lincoln Wreck nearby. Sadly a resting place of 6 people. 1955,  Mt Superbus.  Highest peak in south east QLD. This is a Historic Area it  should be respected and enjoyed by all.

Border Main Range National Park.  Emu Creek Valley 20 km. Which places you close access to many park walks include 2km from the start of the Lincoln Bomber Walk. Or walk to the STEAMERS. Prow Funnel Mast Stern. Spring and Bellbird Walk on Broangus, commanding views of surrounding peaks.

Our property offers three camping areas. Creek Flat, Paddock Areas. and Prow View. Fire pits at all sites and SOME complimentary wood supplied. Can purchase more at the property $10 per bag or 1/4 trailer for $25. Cracking camp areas prior to or after walks. Or just  kick back with family and friends put a camp oven on relax and enjoy the mountain air.

Recommend off-road or four-wheel-drive, on road vans can access but need to take it very slowly as there’s four water crossings with gravel and small rocks.

Berrima Farmstay

My 100 acre grassland property is mostly natural ironbark grassland, bounded by the Condamine River to the east and the sealed Cullendore Road to the west. Grazing and farmland to the north and south. The nearest neighbours live a distance of approximately 1.5 km away, so peace and quiet is guaranteed.I can offer riverside camping, where 10 camping areas are available, suitable for single campers, or family groups.Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own. A bush shower and toilet are situated at the river camp, or if you are camping near the homestead, taking in the mountain views, hot showers, and toilets are available there.Lots to see and experience in nearby Warwick and the Granite Belt.Dogs are welcome and must be controlled by owners at all times.

Warrego Farm

This is a 226 acre lucerne and cattle  farm 7ks from Warwick. It is situated on the Condamine River and Swan Creek.

I have hired a mini bus for the warwick rodeo weekend 27-28October 2023 
It is to take the campers into and from the rodeo to save them getting taxis

Camp sites are located on Condamine River . Kayaking swimming yabbies and fishing available on the Condamine. . We only take minimal campers. 

Order your delicious free range eggs and meat from beef raised on the property in advance, which will be

perfect for the campfire!

Campfires permitted if restrictions aren't in place. Dogs permitted.

We have a very private campsite for clothing optional campers.

Please ensure you check our arrival directions before you come. Our place is easy to find, but we are farmers and always out working, so we probably won't be at the house when you arrive.

Booyong (rainforest tree)

335 acres of undulating rainforest and eucalyptus forest bordering the Condamine River within the Cambanoora Gorge. 4WD access required.

The property has a  huge array of wildlife species including the beautiful and rarely seen platypus and lyre bird. 

We prefer campers to have their own amenities and leave no trace, however, I am building a toilet block.  if you do not have your own (please BYO toilet paper).

I welcome people to visit my art studio by donation. I've been sculpting for over 25 years specialising in extinct animals including taxidermy of some of Australia's rarest marsupials.

Camps have 500m of river frontage (access through the gate or fence) flanked by beautiful hoop pine trees and river oaks. Toilets facilities will are under construction.

This is a higher site than Pine Paddock, a little warmer and a beautiful view. 

Nyalar Mirunganah Nature Refuge

**Our camping sites vary in size and proximity to others. If you want to come with a group with several vehicles etc, please send a message rather than book separate sites. We will help find a site which suits your needs.

We now have several secluded bush camp sites as alternatives to our more 'civilised' sites. They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others.

We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)!

The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state.

It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge.

And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

Tracks for walking or riding. Up is approximately NE. Scale is about 2 km east to west. Most tracks are labelled on the ground by small signs.
