Welcome to Juburra, (pronounced Jew-burra) our working cattle farm and your serene escape just an hour from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We pride ourselves on offering exclusive campsites nestled amongst the ridges, gullies or creeks. We offer a blend of sites suitable for caravaners or adventurers looking for the fun of following a trail to their own slice of privacy. The Train Station

Yellowstone Ranch has their "Train Station" but we have one too. Only you don't "drop off" your undesirables here but take them to one of the regions best private views of Brisbane and Wyaralong Dam. It is incredibly private with its own chain gate you can lock behind you so no one can follow you up and disturb you. You'll need a higher clearance 4WD to get up the steep slope with loose surfaces. However, that's not meant to be a detraction! Enjoy the challenge before soaking up the views in privacy at the top. By the way, we don't offer a refund if you don't make it so make sure you're up for it! 😉 Unlike the Drovers Attick, this site can accommodate two vehicles if required. This site sits on the fence line to what we call the Back 5 Mile. We call it Boundary Riders because we often come here to check to the fenceline where it crosses the carved sandstone gully that this campsite sits above. It's a great little spot, nice and private and a great place to explore the creek with your fury friends.

River Beach is exactly as it sounds, a beautiful, natural, sweeping sandy corner of the Allan Creek. This site is suited to swags, tents and camper trailers. Try your hand at fishing or cooling off in the creek. This site is closer to the access road, so if you prefer somewhere to really feel at one in nature, we suggest that you try cattleman's corner. The site is grassed, overlooking the dam and for smaller vehicles in close proximity to creek and sand. Cattleman's corner is a lovely grassed, private site, along side Allan Creek. This site is our most remote site, has numerous individual camp sites on either side of the creek and is suited to swags, tents and camper trailers. It is more of an off road camping site. It is still a short drive out to a gravel road, so is convenient if you need to duck into town or go day tripping. This site really is a magical piece of paradise. Westy's Ridge

With 360 degree views of Scenic Rim landscape, Westy's Ridge feels on top of the world. High up on the top of a ridge that runs through our property, this site is suited to swags, tents off-road caravans and camper trailers. You will usually experience amazing Sunrises and sunsets from this flat site with Beaudesert lights to the East and rolling hills and valleys to the west. Westy's has a hilly and slightly bumpy approach with a narrow road in one section. 4WD and offroad trailers are recommended. *NOTE* Due to Westy's Ridge sitting on a narrow ridge, this is the only site on the property that may have other campers coming through to access other sites further down the line. If you want to be guaranteed of your own private space, then perhaps consider "Rodeo Ridge" or "Juburra Central" which are the sites that are accessed through Westy's Ridge. River Cliffs is a large campsite set up on the top of the cliffs of Allan Creek with an access track to the creeks edge. A great spot to explore the creek either upstream or downstream with plenty of interesting rock features. This site is suited to swags, tents off-road caravans and camper trailers. Try your hand at fishing or cooling off in the creek. There is plenty of room for dogs to have a run and a swim also. If you want to spread out with friends, there is an adjoining dam area where you are free to also set up too. River Cliffs has a slightly bumpy approach with a narrow road in one section. 4WD and offroad trailers are recommended but not essential. Missing your cattle? Get up onto the Drover's Attick and survey the ridges and gulleys out yonder from up high. Don't have cattle? Then take your special someone for an intimate setting for two on this private site with spectacular views. You'll need to saddle up the horse or engage 4WD with diffs locked if you want to get to this site! We aren't talking about a Subaru Forester either, you'll need a decent 4WD to get up the steep slope with loose surfaces. This site isn't designed for trailers and caravans, it is best suited for the roof top camper, swags or tents. This site isn't short of a good view and has a great walk out onto "The Lions Head" which is just out Infront of the campsite. If you prefer a site closer to water, we suggest that you try Cattleman's Corner, Dog Leg, River Cliffs or River Beach. It is more of an off road camping site as you need to cross the creek to get to it! However, it is usually shallow and has a good base. (we'll let you know if it isn't safe to cross.) Note: This creek crossing is where we cross our cattle so from time to time you might find yourself watching a muster as we bring our cattle into the yards. Juburra Central

We're not sure why, but the cattle seem to enjoy climbing up to Juburra Central. Perhaps it is the commanding viewpoint where they can keep an eye on their hunky boyfriends. Or is it the zen? Or perhaps they just think of it as one of their favourite spots for a cow camp. Juburra Central sits in the middle of the property and overlooks various gullys and hills high up on a ridge. It is often shared with a pair of wedge tail eagles who also take advantage of this very central view. This site is suited to swags, tents off-road caravans and camper trailers. You will experience amazing Sunrises and sunsets from this flat site. Juburra Central has numerous hills to ascend and descend and has a bumpy approach. 4WDs and offroad trailers are highly recommended with some 4WD experience ideal. The Golden Tree

The Golden Tree campsite is named after the old gum behind this site. As photographers know, the golden hour is a special time of the afternoon when the sun is low creating soft, warm light that highlights this tree and it can be spotted from a distance like the welcoming rays of a light house. This site is a nice open grassy area suited to swags, tents off-road caravans and camper trailers. Please note that you will need to set up your camp away from the gate way as a small amount of campers will need to pass through that gate. The drive in, is a journey in itself, along ridges, through creeks and right to the back of the property. If you are looking for an adventure drive leading to an extremely private site to experience sunrises, sunsets and stars, this is it! The Golden Tree has hills, and bumpy and at times narrow sections in the road as well as a small sandy creek crossing. 4WD experience is essential. Dog Leg
The main positive is the privacy, with plenty of space away from other campers. The grass was quite overgrown, and given the price, some upkeep would have been nice. We were looking forward to the creek; while it was only ankle-deep (which was fine), this particular spot is also shared with cows & covered in their #2s. One thing to be aware of is the access track into the site — it’s quite rough, and wouldn’t recommend it for large caravans.

Rodeo Ridge
This site on their property is just as stunning as the rest. I'd previously camped at Westy's Ridge which is amazing but this has just as much beauty but a little more private at the back of the property (plus the afternoon shade from the tree was perfect)

Beautiful site, absolutely massive. The creek is a dream for swimming in. This is a great site for pets as the grass is slashed and you can see where they are. A little bit of road noise during the day but nothing at night.

The place is beautiful and quiet, campsites are far away from each other and the views are spectacular. Would highly recommend bringing a gazebo as it was hot and ther was no shade during the day but when the sun went down there was a beautiful breeze as you are on top of a ridge line.

Overall we had a good experience with a few negatives sadly. Unfortunately the area hadn’t been mowed so we battled longer grass all weekend and our dogs left with really bad rashes. Flies were out of control. Woke up to like 50 flies on our tents and they wouldn’t leave us alone even with a tidy camp site (bins sealed etc). The water was clear and nice. About shin height so good for the dogs. We managed to find one wee spot that was waist deep if you don’t mind walking into the trees. We copped an insane storm even with being prepared and broke our awning and gazebo unfortunately. In future I’d fully pack up if a decent storm was coming through as it hit like crazy in the valley but we would love to try this site again in winter.

Absolutely loved camping at M&K's property. I didn't read the site description properly and rocked up to a tent site with a camper trailer! They were well within their rights to tell me too bad, but instead were unbelievable in ensuring we still found a suitable place to set up for the night. Fantastic views, pure serenity and fabulous hosts.

Very Private/Exclusive large site with access to the Allen Creek, which was very cool and refreshing. Site was large and dog friendly, Cows have a rest area near the site in the morning, may want to take this into account if you have a working breed dog like we do. Plenty of sun for Solar with easy access to shade down by the creek. On the negative side, it is fairly close to a main road, most cars could not be heard but trucks where easily heard and on our stay I feel the site could have used a mow/slash, especially down by the creek where it was getting a little long. Creek access was a little tricky, some logs had been attempted to be used as steps (I assume by previous Guests) which ended up with my Daughter have a graze down the length of her leg. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. But feel a couple of small improvements could make for a better experience.

The Yards
It has its pros and cons. We stayed on the top of the hill with 360 deg views. Very private and peaceful. No one to be seen or heard. I’d booked to stay because of the beautiful river photos and for a dip only to find out you cannot drive around the property, you must only walk. The river was way too far to walk to so we didn’t even see it. Too expensive for no amenities.

Cattleman’s Corner at Juburra Country was an awesome and peaceful place to set up camp. The pups loved swimming and cooling off in the creek. M&K provided us with plenty of firewood which was nice! Would highly recommend!

Riverbeach was truly great. Nicely tucked away in a hidden corner it’s certainly a nice private spot. Plenty of wildlife to watch and listen to. We thoroughly enjoyed cooling off in the creek during the afternoon. With the water being waist deep and pleasantly warm it was perfect. We had a visit from a small group of cows in the evening. They were very interested by us and extremely friendly. Enjoyed every moment of river beach and will be back again !

The Train Station
The train station was perfect. The views were stunning and the drive up was great fun. Highly recommend this site. You truly feel miles away from anyone and anything. We will return without a doubt. To anyone concerned about the drive up it’s not that bad. We made it up without a moments stress in a bmw x5. Although the xdrive system isn’t the same as typical AWD systems it’s not a true 4x4. A little common sense is all it takes.

The Train Station
Without a doubt, I’ll be going back! The Train Station was such a phenomenal spot. A good sized flat clearing tucked high above the world with the most spectacular views. The track to the site was super fun and a little more challenging than expected! A capable 4WD is a must as there are a few rocky step ups. No, your AWD Tesla will not make it. You pass signs to other sites but you can’t see or hear them at all, you feel totally separated from the world! Book the trip, you will not regret it!! 🙌🏼
