To ensure a private and relaxed environment, we limit the campground to two large sites within this paddock, providing ample space for caravans, campers, and tents. Each site covers approximately 900 square meters, allowing plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Nestled in a valley of rolling green hills beneath Mapleton National Park you'll find our beautiful property. Easy access from a well maintained dirt road. Cedar creek runs through the middle of the property for a nice refreshing swim in the swimming hole by the bridge or explore the meandering creek. There is a 4wd access road through to the mapleton national park for you to enjoy the hiking trails and nature.
We want your camping experience at Cedar Banks to be delightful while respecting our local community, wildlife, and surroundings.
To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.

PLEASE NOTE: Cedar Banks is currently seeking development approval from the Sunshine Coast Council to operate a function facility (i.e. venue) and hipcamp. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Absolutely incredible camp grounds which are very well maintained. On a farm with lots of animals, amazing swimming ponds and beautiful creeks. Toilets were very well kept and bins provided for easy clean up. Lots of wildlife around. Definitely will be going back soon!

We had a great long weekend at Sarah and Chris’ property. Plenty of room between all sites. Clean, stocked porta-loos were great. Property well maintained. Plenty of birds to watch and listen to. Phone reception was a bit hit and miss, we didn’t mind though.
Would happily go back again.

Had the pleasure of being the only booking in our area for the weekend and that just added to an already lovely experience. The property is easy to get to and absolutely beautiful. Plenty to do and see around the property and the area. Didn’t have the opportunity to visit the farm store but absolutely will next time we come to stay - the hosts also offer delivery of their produce to your camp site which we thought was such a great service. Toilets were clean and serviced as we arrived. Hosts were lovely and nice enough to allow us to have visitors during our stay also. Would absolutely recommend to friends and will be back for sure.

It was a lovely peaceful camp. Not really for caravans as there were too many people in rigs that could have gone to the harder camps and didn't. We spent a lovely time with our grandchildren. Shame that the creek was too far away for our little grandchildren to walk too for Australia Day!

We have absolutely loved our multiple stays at Wagtail Way! Sarah and her team are incredibly accommodating and always make us feel so welcome. It’s such a beautiful spot, with cows and other animals. The place feels like a special escape. We loved exploring the areas such as the dam, bush walk and creek. The firepit, toilet, and bins provided were so helpful and made our stay even more comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and relax some more.

Big Logs was a massive space that we we had all to ourselves ( both sides of the creek) apart from the local cows and horses that cam to war hello.
Plenty of firewood and a well established firepit.

Peaceful, beautiful location and we absolutely loved our stay. Paul was fantastic and helped us find the perfect site for our camper trailer. The waterhole was amazing for cooling off in the heat, and our dogs had the best time. We spotted some wildlife and really enjoyed the overall feel and aesthetics of the property. Huge bonus points for the super clean toilet! We’ll definitely be back

We loved camping at Pilgrims rest, great open space right on the water where we went for nice walks on the rocks along the creek stopping to submerge ourselves to cool down in some. Being pet friendly was a must as my dog comes everywhere.
Lots of animals to see or feed and the hot tub was amazing, I recommend adding that for something different.
Have already recommend this place to friends.

Peaceful and in a glorious setting this campground has a small running creek that allowed us to easily cool down over some very hot days. Cockatoo Corner (where we stayed) is especially good with our dogs. As a family group we love Bunya Grove and have already booked again in the future. Sarah and Chris are terrific and do farm tours on the ATV. We also love to eat their farm fresh eggs.
This is a delightful camp and not to be missed.
