Situated 45 minutes drive from Bundaberg, our 320 acre property has a small goat farm and 270 acres of bushland to explore.
Take a walk through the trails or follow along the dry creek bed (seasonal). There are plenty of kangaroo, bandicoots, goannas, water dragons, koalas, and varieties of bird life to catch a glimpse of. We back on to Littabella national park where there is more to discover.
There are 4WD tracks through Littabella National Park, take a half day adventure through the track to Rosedale pub for lunch and come home, making a complete circle. Trail bikes may be driven through the national park.
We are close to Baffle Creek for excellent fishing. There is an annual family fishing festival in September. Or try Lake Monduran about a half hour drive where there is great fishing, kayaking and swimming. There are many state forests and national parks nearby to explore.
20 minutes to Rosedale, 30 minutes to Norval park Beach where you can 4WD during the winter months and see turtles nesting October to March, 20 minutes to Baffle Creek southern boat ramp at Winfield, or 40 minutes to Baffle Creek, 45 minutes to Bundaberg. 1 hour to Agnes Water. 2 hours to Hervey Bay. 5 hours to Brisbane.
Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Free firewood, collect as much as you need from around the property.
We have a small apiary, and our happy bees enjoy the tree blossoms way up in the treetops. They do produce plenty of yummy honey, so ask if we have any available.

Nice and private beautifully relaxing with the sound of the running Creek close by. Having chopped wood, clean toilet and toiletries supplied was a very pleasant surprise.

We had a lovely night under the stars in our swag (me and my husky, Mia). Christine was super friendly and even loaned me her lantern overnight which was very appreciated. The friendly kangaroos were happy to share the space with us. If you're into nature and eco-friendly, this is the spot for you.

I stayed in the couples cabin which is an absolute steal of price. You can sleep with the doors open (mosquite net over bed) and are greeted with a menagerie of farm animals in the morning. Stunning grounds to explore and the host really goes the extra mile! I was pained to leave.

What really stood out was the quiet natural setting and the sense of privacy—you feel properly immersed in nature rather than in a crowded campground. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and respectful of your space, which makes the stay comfortable and relaxed. It’s a great spot if you’re looking to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and experience genuine hospitality. Enjoyed a nice hike in the morning.
There are quite a few nice trails for walking, strolling, or hiking.
John gave us a nice tour around the property.
We would love to go there again and spend more than a couple of days next time.
It was the best way to start the new year and I really needed it after working the busiest time of the year.

We had the most beautiful stay at Big Rocks Hip Camp for New Year's Eve. Peaceful, spacious and genuinely special, it’s one of those places that instantly helps you exhale.
The setting is beautiful – quiet and natural so you feel immersed in nature without feeling crowded. It was ideal for our kids, who had space to explore and just be kids, and equally perfect for our dogs, who were very much living their best lives. 🐕🌿

We had a wonderful experience at Fig Tree Camp. The hosts are incredibly supportive, caring, and friendly, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The campsite is very clean, well-secured, and well-maintained, giving us great peace of mind throughout our stay.
The surroundings are absolutely picturesque — a beautiful natural location perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The friendly animals around the camp added a special touch, especially for families and nature lovers.
Everything was thoughtfully organized, and you can really feel the care the hosts put into the place. This is one of the best Hipcamp stays in Queensland, and we would love to visit again without hesitation.

Absolutely beautiful ❤️ just the most private camp site the paddock site was. We felt very safe. It was clear land to set up a tent and great fire pit. Toilet was a bonus. Kids had a ball running around being loud and loads of walks around collecting fire wood. The goats are beautiful and after arranging with Marion the kids got to pat the goats. Easy access to campsite via my Honda Jazz. A good easy drive into Bundaberg 45 minutes. Jason and Marion are beautiful hosts and genuine people.Would definitely recommend.

We recently had a fantastic time over the three days and two nights we stayed. If you are looking for space, peace and quiet, there is plenty of it here. The drive into the property is scenic, we saw a calf being born on the way in, lots of cattle, bird life including an emu & chick and horses. There's plenty to see and do, lots of wild life all over the property. Col and Blodwen were amazing and very friendly, made us feel welcome and at ease during our stay. There is plenty of camping area for larger gatherings or multiple groups. There's a RV site also for anyone to use. The directions to the property were easy to understand and if you have questions they are eager to help out. We missed the rain to get the creeks flowing but it didn't disappoint. We will be going back, most definitely.
Not forgetting our two dogs got a very well deserved time away also.

My 7.7m long Mitsubishi Rosa (bus to motorhome conversion) handled the interesting track in from the main road without any issues at all.
I quite like this park and look forward to future camps there.
