A huge 350 acres to explore where you will find waterways, billabongs, hills, dams, mango trees and more.
Walk through the seasonal creek, easily accessed at the Mango Grove, and see a lot of Quartz and other rocks.
While exploring you could find Kangaroos, Echidnas, Goannas and many bird and plant species.
Did we mention Gin Gin is only about 15 minutes away? So there's no need to worry if you need more Ice or Food! And if your interested in a day getting wet, Paradise Dam is only 40 minutes away.

We had a lovely quiet overnight experience here . The falls walk from the property is a nice add on to the walk to utopia with signs to follow . Nigel was very accommodating and welcoming was quick with communication as ours was a last minute booking over text as we didn’t meet in person .We would recommend for a more then affordable price as a place to appreciate.

Lovely property. I booked Bridge but ended up staying closer to Deluxe.
Deluxe has the best flat ground for camping with easy access to the creek. Bridge has a bit of a walk. Weir is a nice spot but limited places to set up, creek access is easy.
The property has heaps of tracks to take to if you’re an off-roader. I didn’t do anything crazy but still some nice ruts to be found.
The creek was flowing due to recent heavy rainfall which also meant the water was very murky but still lovely to cool off in on hot afternoons.
The property has been set up for a festival(s) so it’s quite open which made finding a spot with shade from the afternoon sun challenging. It’s private, but still a working farm so expect movement and there is some visibility between Bridge, Deluxe and Meadow Lands.
Overall a beautiful place and I’ll return just as soon as I can!

What really stood out was the quiet natural setting and the sense of privacy—you feel properly immersed in nature rather than in a crowded campground. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and respectful of your space, which makes the stay comfortable and relaxed. It’s a great spot if you’re looking to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and experience genuine hospitality. Enjoyed a nice hike in the morning.
There are quite a few nice trails for walking, strolling, or hiking.
John gave us a nice tour around the property.
We would love to go there again and spend more than a couple of days next time.
It was the best way to start the new year and I really needed it after working the busiest time of the year.

We had the most beautiful stay at Big Rocks Hip Camp for New Year's Eve. Peaceful, spacious and genuinely special, it’s one of those places that instantly helps you exhale.
The setting is beautiful – quiet and natural so you feel immersed in nature without feeling crowded. It was ideal for our kids, who had space to explore and just be kids, and equally perfect for our dogs, who were very much living their best lives. 🐕🌿
John and Lyn are the kind of hosts that make a great place exceptional – warm, welcoming, incredibly accommodating, and clearly passionate about sharing their little slice of the world. Nothing was too much trouble, and their care and thoughtfulness really showed.
If you’re looking for a calm, family- and dog-friendly escape that feels both restorative and memorable, Big Rocks Hip Camp is an absolute gem. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. 💚

Nice spot for a night or 2 I walked everywhere we could, with dog, and had run out of tracks on the second day Available area is much less then 360 acres Some interesting sights and lots of birds and other wildlife. Quite pleasant with water in the dams

The location is very quiet and as it had been raining very green and lush. Nigel is very friendly and has big plans for the camp and we wish him well. Will come back next time we are in the area.
