In peaceful Mount Perry is a remote paradise, I call TAKAMUNA (house on the rise). • I have 70 acres of beautiful land which you can, bush walk, swim in the dam and enjoy a campfire (some wood provided). • You will need to be fully self-sufficient, there are no amenities. • Limited access to water, no power available (generators ok within reason). • Various sites to camp or unhitch a caravan. The property overlooks the glorious hills and valleys with a direct view of the Back of Mount Perry so it's time to unplug and chill! • Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead. • We have cattle which graze freely throughout the property. • Your welcome to come up at feeding time (approx. 4pm) to help feed the sheep, goats pigs and chickens. (probably the cows). • Our front gate must be kept closed at all times, all other gates the rule is if it closed then close it after you. • We do have surveillance around the property. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere initiated by John. Lot's of room for us in the Main Camp. My 7.7m long Mitsubishi Rosa (bus to motorhome conversion) handled the interesting track in from the main road without any issues at all. I quite like this park and look forward to future camps there.

We loved staying at big rocks bush retreat. They were very accommodating and the area was just beautiful to stay. Next time. We will try out a different camp but enjoyed the one we stayed at near main camp was good to be able to bring the dogs and the bikes and have a great weekend away with family.

Absolutely magic spot on a beautiful part of the Burnett River. Amazing sunrise in one direction and spectacular sunset in the other. This section of river is so perfect for kayaking. The river is teaming with lung fish, birdlife, fish and we even saw platypus right at our campsite. The waterfalls downstream were a lovely surprise. Our campsite was absolute river front and bliss. We awoke to birdsong in the mornings and the nights were peaceful. 10/10

A real bush camp but with the bonus of a toilet. Plenty of space to spread out. We went on a hike following the 4wd and dirt bike trails, with gorgeous views from the perfect vantage spots. No problems with access to the property. Will definitely be going back in the future

Chis was an awesome host and greeted us at the gate and showed us around his beautiful property . We had an absolute great stay and was the only guests on the farm .Our spot was next to the dam . It sure was cold but we came prepared. Chris was generous and even brought us heaps of free firewood. He invited us to come and join him when he feed his animals . What an experience. A pet Brahman bull name Humphrey !! Pigs , goats sheep etc . A beautiful place . We had great walks and a great break . Will be back .

Hi, highly recommend Timber Mill Station, amazing area, super clean and awesome toilets and showers and laundry facilities. Also had Dumo Point and waste disposal. We were with a 9m caravan for 5 nights in such a peaceful bushland area. Open site One. Hosts, Carol and Tony are excellent. They are friendly, helpful and caring. They maintain this bush retreat to a tee. Nothing was too much, supplied fire pot and wood for the time we were there. Will definitely come back again when in the area and highly recommend this camp site.
