Great hosts, hotel drinks reasonably priced, large menu (mainly burgers), characters abound (locals),
Camping area needs to be emptied of old cars
Need to get a couple of dumpsters in and clean out the multiple decades worth of accumulated rubbish inside and out. New(ish) owners so in time I’m sure these things will be addressed as time permits.

Pet friendly hotel and great place
I must say the wallaville hotel has amazing family atmosphere my partner and I stayed there over the Ozzie weekend and enjoyed every minute the food cooked and served by Shane was amazing we had parmi and so fresh and moist I recomend it . Leslie and Shawn the managers are fantastic people and the staff are so friendly camping grounds are lovely and clean and the rooms are clean cosy and we had a great sleep we thoughly enjoyed the double shower . Toilet was very clean and not to mention that it is a pet friendly hotel so next time we will take our fur babies .

Didn't end up staying. Requested a refund but no one replied.
Pulled in, couldn't find anyone. No one answered the phone at the hotel. Knocked on the back door. Couldn't see the power to hook up to. Derelict looking place with broken down old cars everywhere. We left.

Camping in our coaster bus here was great, being behind the pub that was built in 1895 was cool to see, it has live music Fridays & fun weekly raffles. The owners are welcoming & lovely people! Affordable & the old kitchen has everything you need for any meal.

Overall this place was a good place to stay at, the owners were super welcoming, theres a pub right next door and there were toilets and showers.
Plus a massive bonus was that we were at Mon Repos the evening we stayed here and they were very accommodating with us coming back late!
There was a rooster over the road that woke us up very early and ultimately it is just a field next to a pub but neither of these things massively effected our stay, just things to be aware of!

If you’re after a “free camp” with flushing toilets, hot showers and good old fashioned hospitality, The Wallaville Hotel is perfect! Yes - it’s old and dated but for the price you’re paying and the personalised service you receive, it’s worth the cost! Did I mention the bar is approx 30m from the camping area and about 50m from a cafe that does great pizzas and burgers?
If you’re looking for glamour and sparkle, don’t waste your time! If you’re seeking a hot shower, a cold beer and a good feed with somewhere to stay the night, definitely worth the stay! !
