Escape the ordinary, reconnect with nature on our private bushland park and peaceful lake. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, and relaxing in a calm, natural setting,no motors, just birdsong and open skies.
We are proudly off-grid with no powered sites. Our focus is peace, space, and sustainability. Motorised equipment is not allowed on our lake, but Somerset Dam (40 minutes away) welcomes boating and jet skis.
Campsites ; Facilities
We have 24 spacious sites, some lakefront and others among trees or open fields. Lakefront spots can’t be guaranteed — sites are assigned based on group size and setup. If you’re camping with others, please message after booking so we can place you together.
Facilities include:
• Three flushing toilets and two hot showers in the main area with 3 porta loos.
• 2 Porta-loos at remote sites (max 500 m from amenities)
• Firepits at every site (subject to restrictions)
• Firewood available $20 per 20–25 kg bag (no BYO wood)
Access ; Vehicles
Our 1 km private driveway is unsealed but fine for 2WD when driven carefully. Please do the assigned speed limits. You can park at your site once set up. For safety, no joyriding or unnecessary driving around the property. Supervise your children at all times.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome under control. We’re surrounded by bushland with ticks, spiders, and snakes — please use tick protection and take normal care.

Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family.
The Bakery is Open Friday nights, Saturday and Wednesday mornings for Bread, Pastries and Coffees.
The Conondale General store is a 10-minute drive away and Maleny is a short 25-minute drive filled with quaint cafes, Woolworths, IGA, and many attractive stores, art galleries and a bustling music venue.

They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance.
Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills.
There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities.
We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here.
This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here.
No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Tent site and RV/campervan site on grassed area with power and water available. Under cover parking for campervan or tent setup is an option alongside the living area and amenities.
Facilities include equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, benchtop convection oven, kettle, toaster and all cooking utensils as well as plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. Bathroom with hot shower and a bathtub for parents with children. As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet is accessible up a few stairs. There is a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.
There is wildlife around like kangaroos, wallabies, echidna and many bird species so no pets are permitted on the property.
Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. Bring your own firewood or buy along the road nearby.
Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. We’d appreciate no loud music or voices from 10pm to 7am. There is a neighbouring property behind the shed and our bedroom is within range!
When you book you are booking the entire camp facility. It is yours to enjoy, relax, unwind, or catch up on some rest.
Please advise ETA so we can greet you on arrival and show you to your campsite. It's best to arrive before sunset to select your camp spot and set up and to enjoy the sunset views!

After your drive through Amamoor town and through the State Forest (approx 25 minutes drive) you will arrive at Windyridge Creekside camp. Be greeted by a fully private campsite with beautiful trees as your backdrop for your weekend/week long getaway.
An on ground firepit awaits along with a permanent fixed picnic table and chairs. Set up camp, light the fire, look at the stars and breathe your worries away!

Pet friendly!! Cleaning up after your pet is ESSENTIAL and must be secured safely at night.
Fire kindling is available through the forest walk to the creek to get your fire going.
Firewood is available - $10 per bag / $50 load - please pre order prior to arrival.
TOILETS - NO toilet is available onsite and you are required to be FULLY self sufficient with your own toilet. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule and you MUST take ALL waste with you when you leave.
RUBBISH - No rubbish bins are available on this site. ALL Rubbish and scraps must be removed when you depart. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule and you MUST take ALL rubbish with you when you leave. No food scraps to be left behind.
WIFI: Available upon request for wifi calling and general internet (not suitable for streaming/movies).
We request that you leave this beautiful, unique campsite in the same condition as when you arrived for the continued benefit of other campers and respecting that this is part of our property and home.
This campsite is NOT a shared campsite - singular bookings only.
AWD and 4WD is recommended however 2WD is suitable for this site.
We ask that all care is taken when driving into and on the campsite parkland - like grass.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the family bush cabin at Hope Valley. Anita is a very kind and hospitable host and the property is great to explore and to see animals including both domesticated and wild. The kids particularly enjoyed the animals and playing in and adventuring up and down the creek.
The family cabin is well appointed and has everything we needed to make the stay a great one. You definitely need a 4WD to get up the driveway to the cabin itself.
The outdoor hot tub (optional extra) is also great if of interest.
Hope Valley is a great location to get away from it all and to relax - we hope to return again in the future. Very highly recommended.

Great stay! The host, Nicole, goes above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. She provided an electric hook up for the van, and a guest conservatory which had access to toilet, washing machine and dishwasher. Would 100% recommend staying with her.

We had a fantastic stay at Peaceful Retreats. Excellent facilities including a huge and spotlessly clean bathroom, and an incredibly well stocked kitchen. Maria and Neil are so welcoming, and responsive to queries. Spotting the Kangaroo was a highlight!

We loved our camping experience! We received very clear instructions from the host on how to reach the campsite. The latter is located on a very big land in the forest and off a gravel road. Even though there are several cottages there, every one has their own space and privacy. If you like camping in nature, away from the crowds, this is the place! The sounds of nature at night are intense and the stars and moonlight magical; perfect place to reconnect! Great concept overall and our host Audrey was super friendly, helpful and accommodating! We definitely recommend this place and would return in the future 🙂

We stayed in the Gums area and couldn’t believe how much space there was for camping! It was kept so clean, it was quiet and such a beautiful place to camp. So unfortunate it was raining and stormy over the Christmas period while we stayed here but we will definitely come back another time when the weather is better. We also loved all the little animals going around the sites! So sweet

The facilities are very well kept, and having access to a full shower/toilet block as well as an undercover kitchen makes this a very comfortable stay.
We had the park almost to ourselves for the stay, which was lovely. The campsites are close together but a small group would be able to have a decent size if taking multiple spots, with some distinct upper and lower areas. Individual campers may find people are very close by if it is a busy/packed time.
The campsite is also attached or part of a commune, so there is a strong community vibe which could be either a pleasant experience or a turnoff for some folk if they are not comfortable with occasionally stopping and having a chat with those who live in the same vicinity.
We didn't have the opportunity to look around the area much as while there are walks around, it was too hot to do so in December. However, the campsite was regularly visited by friendly wallabies and roos, and there were plenty of photo opportunities with the animals lounging around.
A nice place and the easy access to proper shower/toilets is a great bonus.

We had a fantastic camping experience at Lakeside Campsites at Bushywood, Woodfordskilake. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful lakeside views and plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. The campsite felt calm and well cared for, making it easy to switch off and unwind. Listening to the sounds of nature and the view over the water was a real highlight.
The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the whole area felt welcoming and safe. It’s a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking for a quiet break outdoors. Whether you’re sitting by your tent, exploring the surroundings, or just enjoying the scenery, Bushywood has a lovely atmosphere. I definitely recommend it and would happily return for another stay!
