Our property is located 18km north of Toowoomba, and features open flat paddock area with grass. Enjoy the evenings around the dedicated firepit (firewood is available under Extras). Rules of upkeep are on the wall at the back of the toilet.Please follow the instructions to care for this environmentally friendly system. 2) No smoking indoors. 3) When smoking outdoors extinguish the butt appropriately and discard rubbish in the bin. 4) Leave outdoor shoes at the door. 5) If you have visitors come and stay you must tell them to look after the place and not cause a problem. 6) Water is scarce. Please be mindful of long showers and leaving taps on or dripping. 7) A small bin is provided in the kitchen for food scraps. 8) General waste a bin is situated outside of the mini house. 9) No pets in the house at all. This will incur a fine if found out. All pets must be pets must be on a chain at all times. 10) RESPECT OUR PROPERTY PLEASE. Weekend Trip to Bunya Red Farm

Mandy and Alan were very welcoming. They greeted us on arrival, gave us the lay of the land and the rundown on the amenities. About 4ish, Alan came dosn and rounded up the 4 kids and whisked them off into the next yard to feed the alpacas. Unfortunately we got rained out and couldn't stay the planned two nights, but the kids had a ball mucking about in the rain and chasing the frogs about. The amenities are fantastic - best campground shower I've ever had. The kitchen area is well-configured and we found anything we hsd forgotten to pack was probably in there. I'm definitely keen to stay again, hopefully during some cooler and more predictable weather.

Bunya Red Farm was really fantastic! The caper farm tour was very interesting (and delicious) and feeding the alpacas was a highlight. The grounds were so picturesque with farmland views in all directions. We loved the star-filled night sky and serenity of the place. Mandy and Allen were incredible hosts. Would recommend a stay in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Rubern Lagoons. The facilities were great and it had a nice vibe. The NRL grand final was on that night so many of the other campers enjoyed watching it in the communal kitchen/dining area. Check-in was easy and it was simple to hook into the power and water.

We had the best time at Bunya Red Farm! Mandy and Allan were so accommodating. The facilities are great with a huge camp kitchen and eating area and two clean bathrooms. The hosted walks Allan did each day were perfect and then getting to feed the alpaca’s was a highlight. We will be back for sure!!

We had the most wonderful experience at Bunya Red Farm! From the moment we arrived, Mandy and Alan made us feel completely at home. They’re warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about creating a peaceful, family-friendly space — truly excellent hosts. Our 6-year-old was in heaven climbing the big tree near the campsite — it quickly became the highlight of the trip! Alan’s farm tours were a great — informative, engaging, and an absolute laugh! His stories made the whole experience unforgettable! The amenities were fantastic: clean, thoughtfully maintained, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
