Fabulous spot đ
Short drive from Toowoomba but enough to feel like miles from anywhere. Quiet (little bit of road noise but not disturbing).
Large seperate camping sections for privacy.
Recommend & weâll definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Myola Bush Retreat. Nestled in a peaceful and secluded setting, it truly feels like you're immersed in the Australian bush. Waking up to the sounds of native wildlife, including kookaburras and peewees, created a relaxing and authentic country experience.
The scenic views overlooking the picturesque dam were simply beautiful, while the light, cool breezes whispered through the tall, majestic gum trees, adding to the serenity of the property. Sitting by the fire, taking in the tranquil surroundings, was the perfect way to unwind and reconnect with nature.
If you're looking for a quiet escape with stunning scenery and abundant wildlife, Myola Bush Retreat is a wonderful choice.

This camp was great and I am sure we will be back. Best site for us was right up the back - open for solar but good shade too. Our van is 9.4 m ball to back and we got through the gate off the road ok. The dam is low due to the very dry conditions but was fine for using for showers. Great hosts too!!

The sites were nice and varied. My kids had fun exploring by the dam and we took a nice walk through the property. Our site was nicely cleared and level. Road noise was a bit of a nuisance. My only negative were the hundreds of cactus everywhere. My daughter tripped and landed on a small one, resulting in us spending quite a while tweezing out all of the tiny spikes! The fact that they were everywhere and so hard to spot made for a very nerve wracking stay.

We loved the quietness and the view from our campsite on the top of the ridge. Being able to gather your own firewood is a big advantage and meant we could have a good fire on the cold days and nights.

Myola Bush Retreat was a lovely quiet place to stay! The driveway was a little tricky to locate initially Nice big sites, we stayed up high overlooking the dam which was great for sunsets. Few others around but loads of privacy and very quiet. Our dog loved walks. Plenty of firewood in easy reach too. Owners checked all was good each evening which was nice.

Plenty of room on all sites. Nice elevated grassy spots. Plenty of firewood. We were the only campers this weekend and it was so quiet. The night skies are brilliant. Met the owner Mat, very friendly. We will definitely camp again.

Great spot by the dam- quiet, flat, nice views and awesome stargazing. Dam was nice to cool off in over the warm long weekend. Dogs also had heaps of fun. Definitely recommend!

Amazing view from the top of the hill, a little hard to find the entrance but was so nice to have a spot to ourselves. We appreciate being given the chance as a group of boys weâve been turned down many times.

Great bush camp site. We stayed up the back on the hill, good access with our 17â high clearance van. 4wd wasnât needed and it had been raining that day.
We were lucky enough to see a Koala near the dam.

A beautiful place to relax and close to the township of Goombungee (fuel, takeaway, post office, cafe, pub). Toowoomba is close by too with so much to see and do.
The campsites are clean, picturesque and private. Walk around the dam or just sit and take in the view of the undulating hills. Hosts were very accommodating and we'll be back for sure.

We managed to get the best flat, shaded spot next to the dam, although it was stale water it made it much cooler, the other sites were in great locations, hillside, hill top. The host was very friendly & welcoming.
Dogs loved the space & freedom.
We had a great time & would go again.
