45 acres to explore on a 280 acre working cattle property. Situated 5 mins from Goombungee, 45 mins from Toowoomba and 2hrs from Brisbane, it is the perfect weekend escape. Choose from six slashed locations or find your own space! Choose a spot beside the beautifully populated dam to spot the turtles. Feel free to go for a dip or bring the kayaks. Fires welcome with plenty of fallen timber available to scavenge. Dogs off leash but not roaming to other camps. Keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 6am. Sites are fully self contained with no power. Accessible for 2WD and towing however bumpy grass track and slippery when wet.Choose from six slashed sites or find your own space elsewhere. Three sites are beside the beautiful dam and three private sites further up the hill. Slightly undulating sites. More than one booking can camp at a single site if desired. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.

Bush Camping

Georgeous Goombungee

A beautiful place to relax and close to the township of Goombungee (fuel, takeaway, post office, cafe, pub). Toowoomba is close by too with so much to see and do. The campsites are clean, picturesque and private. Walk around the dam or just sit and take in the view of the undulating hills. Hosts were very accommodating and we'll be back for sure.

Great Weekend Getaway

We managed to get the best flat, shaded spot next to the dam, although it was stale water it made it much cooler, the other sites were in great locations, hillside, hill top. The host was very friendly & welcoming. Dogs loved the space & freedom. We had a great time & would go again.
