Weekend Trip to Possum Bush Retreat

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay , the view was amazing and the facilities we fantastic for a farm stay. This is a must stay and im sure will be back again for a longer stay. The host was amazing as well so happy and friendly

We had another very enjoyable weekend camping on Sharni and Graham's beautiful property. They are terrific hosts and provide great firewood. The property is beautifully maintained and as always we were made to feel very welcome.

We loved our weekend away at Rangetop camping. We had a beautiful view of Morton bay and were frequently visited by the friendly horses and cows ☺️. So peaceful and relaxing. We will be back and we also would recommend this hipcamp.

Really enjoyed our site. Beautiful views over the coast. Would definitely visit again. Very popular so book early. Some people complain about the horses and cattle but hey your on a farm, we had no problem with them. Only criticism is the council needs to grade the road. Bit bouncy towing a 3.5t van.

3 nights at Mountview Farmstay

This was our first camping experience in Australia as recent ditch jumpers from NZ, and we loved it. Katrina and Ian were incredibly accommodating, quick to communicate, and clearly take pride in everything they provide at Mountainview Farmstay. The property, facilities, and adorable animals are all top-notch. We’ve already recommended it to our friends!

What an amazing 3 night stay at Farmview. Our host Katrina was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us! We camped in a tent, walked around the farm and even spoke to the cattle! Sunrise and sunsets were amazing, camp fires were great and a game of pool in the barn was awesome. The entire facility was amazing, toilets and shower were super clean and the communal barn is a great place. Highly recommend. Thanks again Katrina for everything and we will see you again. Great campsite! The grounds are well maintained, and the friendly horses were a lovely bonus. The host was super nice and welcoming, and the directions provided were clear and easy to follow. Each campsite is spaced far apart, offering plenty of privacy and a sense of exclusivity. We really enjoyed our time there and hope to return soon!

We really loved our 3 nights so very peaceful and the views are magnificent not packed in at all. pet friendly our dog enjoyed it as much as us I would definitely recommend reasonably priced as well the views where priceless.

Mountview is a very special place having been in the family for over 120 years. The working farm is 650 acres of grain cropping and also runs a productive Charolais beef cattle stud. A central stopover point an easy 15 minutes from Toowoomba city and only a few kilometers off the New England Highway. Great for couples and larger family groups. For those that may not be experienced campers onsite accommodation is also available in the fully renovated homestead for up to 8 guests. Explore the local area with so many attractions and places to discover including the Darling Downs Zoo, The Historical Bull and Barley Inn, Lavender fields, quaint little country towns, sunflower fields, hiking tracks and so much more. Enjoy wide open spaces with magnificent views. Watch stunning sunsets, toast marshmallows around the fire pit, watch the night sky for a dazzling display of stars, hike or say hello to the many Charolais cattle on the property. You will also have access to the facilities at the Ironbark Barn which include a pool table, television, kitchen and bar area, and hot shower and toilets.
