At Le Jackz you come to relax and unwind and allow nature to be your therapist.The property is located near Maclagan, a small town situated at the foothills of Bunya Mountains National Park. The majestic Bunya Mountains were formed 30 million years ago and thought to be the remains of an old volcano. CURRENTLY CLOSED. We are a small 107 acre farm on the Great Dividing Range, a 10 minute drive from Toowoomba. Hopetoun Hills is a tranquil place to relax with water ducks, kangaroos, wallabies and all sorts of birds including the wedge tail eagles that come back to nest every year! Sadly in the drier months, our dam may not be full and the grass not green! YOU MUST BE FULLY SELF CONTAINED. You MUST have TOILET (that you take with you when you leave), and SHOWERING facilities. If you do not have these then we are very sorry but we can not accommodate you, and if you do arrive and don't have these facilities we can't allow you to stay. This is a health issue for other campers, ourselves and our stock. Our property is not suitable for young children due to the creek, dam, electric fencing and stock. We welcome dogs, although they must be kept on a lead and/or contained for the courtesy of other guests, and we have livestock such as cattle, calves, horses, a donkey and a bull who don't take well to strange dogs. There are a few places you may choose to camp and the spacious room allows privacy if you wish to have early nights/early mornings and not be too close to others. We don't allow party groups/parties due to the courtesy of other campers and we do ask that you remember; this is a farm not a caravan park, there are cattle and horses. We can provide potable water for campers staying more than a few days, or travelling on the road. You will require appropriate water jerry cans/drums or we can fill your tanks up directly from the shed. In the warmer months you can sleep with windows, doors and hatch's open in the tranquil country setting. Your caravan is not visible from the road, or accessible without passing the main residence if you wish to tour around our beautiful town and outlying area's. We're less than a ten minute drive from Kmart / Coles / Woolworths, although when you're here you would never know! There is so much to see in and around Toowoomba and the Darling Down's, from coffee shops, mural walks, bike paths through the beautiful parks and much more. Weekend Trip to LeJackz!!!

What a beautiful spot! Quiet, green, hills for walking and tiring out the puppies 🤭. We were lucky to snag this camp to ourselves for a weekend! The owners have setup a little off grid kitchen and bathroom which added something we don’t get very often in the bush. Their beautiful mareemas camped up with us while we were there too! We had booked the “old fig tree spot” but found “oak tree” to be a bit flatter and shaded. Picnic table, chairs and table at both sites. Thank you for a great camp!

We camped at Coominya Getaway for a week and a half over our xmas break and it was fantastic So close to everything! Our son absolutely loved being able to see and pat the horses and see the cattle next door. Saw a koala in a tree one night, we found that super cool!!! Highly recommend Coominya Getaway!!!!!

Quiet spot with great hospitality. Shower and toilet is functional, clean and stocked so you don't need to bring the extras. Take advantage of the camp kitchen to do the washing up. Would definitely return. The Fig Tree provided plenty of shade.

We loved this spot. Awesome location gor pretty sure rises and su sets. Emma is a fantastic and welcoming host. Amenities available though not used on our stay. Conveniently located near Toowoomba and small community shops. Highly recommended.

We greatly enjoyed staying at Hillcrest 1876 in our caravan. The location is peaceful and most nights there was a cool breeze blowing. It is a great base to stay at for visiting the Toowoomba region and there is a little convenience store just up the road at Wyreema. We were made to feel welcome and will definitely come back.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hillcrest Farm. Just minutes from Toowoomba, this peaceful 20-acre property is the good blend of rustic charm, wide open space. We arrived; we felt completely at ease. The land is mostly flat, making it easy to set up camp, with plenty of shady spots under the trees or open paddocks with breathtaking 360-degree views. The sunsets are stunning best enjoyed around one of the many fire pits. There’s plenty of space, so even when other campers are around, it still feels private. The central area and rear paddocks are ideal for families or small groups, and there's easy access to water. Definitely, book again

Weekend Trip to Coominya Getaway

We had a lovely break at Coominya Getaway. Rebecca (and her folks) were very gracious and eager to please. The large designated sites are in the horse paddock behind the house (with the horses!). We were even visited by the inquisitive cows in the next paddock! Very conveniently located (5 mins to Coominya and it’s awesome pub), 15mins to Fernvale and Esk with their lovely cafes and markets. All in all, we had a fabulous weekend. Thank you Rebecca!
