Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play. Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat. We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times. We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dinning and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs. Children under 4 are free.

We are conveniently located just off the Warrego Highway but once you set up camp, you will feel miles away from anywhere. Relax at camp or wander down to the creek to swim, fish or kayak (if the seasons are favourable); birdwatch, hike or mountain bike along the ridge; wander our flower field (seasonal picking available at additional cost); visit with the cattle and miniature ponies; stargaze and enjoy a camp fire (if there are no fire bans). If you want to explore the region, we are only 18klms from Toowoomba or Gatton and you can slip up Springbluff to easily access Highfields/Crows Nest area. Plenty of space to choose your camp, with very limited numbers accepted. Potable water available but Council requirements mean you must be fully self contained. Nearest dump point will be Gatton Showgrounds. The criticism of our space by some campers has been the nearby railway line. We have become immune to it but for some the passing coal trains is annoying. They are sporadiac - sometimes frequent, other times not. If you don't like trains, perhaps Karinya is not for you :( Leave no trace.

Ben and his family are terrific hosts. The property is as per the pictures and as described, it’s a fantastic place to pull up with your van tent motorhome. There’s plenty of room for all of that. The addition of the wildlife and the farm animals is really great, with Ben keen to involve guests with interacting with the Pigs, 🐷 goats, 🐐 sheep, 🐑 and potty cow 🐄. There is an excellent fire pit where you can sit back at night after collecting your own firewood and have a nice relaxing evening around the campfire. I highly recommend staying here and next time I’m in the area would not hesitate to make it my first choice… It should be your first choice too!

This is a beautiful little peaceful spot. A gorgeous view, we purposely didn’t pack any toys for our kids and they were kept entertained for hours playing in the creek and hanging out with the goats!!! We will be back.

Had a really great start on the property! Loads of animals to go look at and feed, I also had my dog with us. Spent time.in the spa which was perfect! Beautiful fruit baring trees at the main camp site, we seen King Parrots come to eat the sunflower seeds from the plant. Shout out to Ben for finding little dog Zena when she ran off, she was spooked and ran off, she ended up back next to the spa waiting to be rescued 😂 great hosts with cute kids!

Great place to base yourself to experience the many local attractions around the Toowoomba and Lockyer region. The camping area was picturesque, well maintained and had toilets and water if you needed. Kym was a fantastic host ensuring all her guests were safe after an unexpected storm decided to play havoc in the area.

Excellent family friendly farm stay. All sites are in great proximity to amenities, the farm and surroundings. Farm and site are very well maintained. Local produce for sale (honey, firewood). Plenty of kids activities and a spa. Location is excellent for adventures in to Toowoomba and surrounds. Stay for more than 2 nights to appreciate the lifestyle and surrounds! Ben and his family are super welcoming and helpful. we were super lucky and got to see mummy pig have some babies!

Amazing spot. Creek was low but the new dam is great (full and clean - awesome spot for a swim). Great camping spot, well looked after and recently mowed. (Mower also in the firewood shed if you need it!) The firewood is great and great value. Few porta-loos around the property that are always clean. I was very surprised by the low amount of people at the property- must be a great kept secret - saw less than 10 people over the entire new years period. Try the goat pie and goat curry - both amazing.
