It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent. Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east. Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all times. No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users. No antisocial behavior. No camping on creek banks. No playing around toilet block area. No livestock to be kept on the park. No cutting down trees. No person to travel in the load area of vehicles. No motorcycles other than on the formed roads or when moving between your campsite and the road. No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones or fireworks allowed in the park. No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek. No washing dishes or clothing in creek. No hitting of Golf balls. No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok). No swings to be tied to trees. Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for trespassing. Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use of the park. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. A large natural lagoon and the Logan River provide opportunities to relax, swim, fish or kayak. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon or the Logan River. Children aged 12 years and under no charge (please do not include them in your numbers when making a booking) Pet friendly off-grid camping. All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes. No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, our neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. Enjoy our large camp sites with family and friends. Noise travels easily in the evening please reduce noise by 9pm. Larger groups welcome on some sites please message hosts. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. Site 1R, the whole area along the creek, was beautiful on levelish well maintained grass you could walk barefoot on. 1R had a mixture of shade and sun in the morning. Alongside site is a sterdy deck with table & chairs. There was direct access to creek for a wade/sit on a rock, refreshing on a hot day. A large industrial bin was available. It was a relaxing place to unwind and spot a variety of bird life. Certainly had a restful time and felt safe. Loved the fairy lights on the tree💜

You just have to check this hipcamp for yourself. The very kind host , Karen is a beautiful free spirit & so so accommodating. My wife & I stayed in the very comfy room at the end of Karen's private residence where we had our own newly renovated bathroom with soft white towels, soaps , shampoo etc...which was fabulous....also freshly cut gardenias on beside was a very nice touch. Access to the camp kitchen with full facilities & a living area/rec room was briiliant & sure makes for a great stay. Karen's surrounding garden was really beautiful...a long chat hanging over the front rail during our garden tour with Karen was delightful. Six campsites are available surrounding the ex- fish farm dams where Karen's horses & alpaca roam freely... Jalum is super relaxing...just up the road from Mooball where you'll find a beaut pub , Moo Moo Roadhouse for fabulous food , drinks & souvenirs Also popular there at Mooball is the rail trail with E bikes for hire. We enjoyed a gorgeous country drive with lush green hills crossing the NSW/QLD border from Murwillumbah through to Nerang...the amazing Beechmont Tavern was packed with punters to be entertained by back to back bands for a fun Saturday arvo/night... Lots to do in the area...even an old old railway tunnel to see on nearby Hulls Road to the Sth & just up the road to the Nth of Jalum on Pottsville Road is The Sleepy Barn where you can chill with a morning coffee or an evening cocktail along with delicious snacks/meals. 💯% score

Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks. the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats. there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs.. Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches. Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request. other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices. This 6-acre property is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Burringbar Village. There are 4 campsites available, 3 are located in the creek paddock and 1 in the Orchard. The sites are located near a quiet country no-through road. Sites are all fairly level, best to bring levellers if you require it dead level;) The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km). Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding. Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive. The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away. The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast. In the village itself there are options for food, drink and entertainment, with a General store, Post office, Thai restaurant, Natural Wine Shop, Coffee Shops, Pharmacy, Butcher, Cheese factory, and Sports Club . And only 4 kilometres away in the nearby village of Mooball, there is the famous Moo moo Roadhouse for meals, coffee and fuel, and the also historic Victory Hotel for further food and drink options. Base yourself on this lovely property and explore the beautiful Northern Rivers Region and all it has to offer. If you’re passing by, you’re welcome to drop in. There’s almost always somewhere you can set up for the night. Our property is located in the heart of Rathdowney, gateway to the picturesque Scenic Rim. There is a two-week maximum stay available at the Rathdowney Memorial Grounds Caravan Park. You’ll need to provide us with your name, address, mobile, email and vehicle registration. It helps us to keep everyone safe and our registration process. We have powered and unpowered sites available for independent travelers. On-site at the Rathdowney Memorial Grounds it's an easy walk across the street for supplies, or for dinner at the local. We have toilets and hot showers available! There is access to drinking water and rubbish facilities. Campfires permitted but not straight onto the ground. (No firewood available on site but there is locally) Pets welcome. (Maximum 2) To be on a lead/enclosure. Please clean up after them.
