Our beautiful farm is located beside the Logan River and is a little natural oasis close to everything. The campsites offer lush green grass and are set on the bank of the Logan river where you can go fishing. We have a boat ramp that you can use to put your boat, kayak or jet ski in.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish wth them on departure.
There are fire pits available for guests to enjoy, please check local restrictions before lighting a fire. Firewood is available $35 for a full wheelbarrow.
We have a tennis court that you can rent depending on availability, we also have equipment for hire, if your interested please ask us for prices.
Our farm has chickens, ducks, goats and guinea pigs. We also have an abundance of wildlife from all kinds of birds to lizards and possums. If you're lucky you may even spot one of our koalas, kangaroos or foxes.
Please keep in mind that we have animals and you need to close the gate behind yourself. Unfortunately we do not accommodate pets due to our farm animals being free ranged.

Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp.
Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent.
Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east.
Campers & Day Trippers Rules:
The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple
guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park.
By using this park you agree to the following rules.
All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed
limit.
Fires must be extinguished prior to departure.
Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all
rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so
the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish.
It must be taken with you!
The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in
fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the
creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem!
Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set
up on top of other campers.
Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of
2pm to 6pm.
Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all
times.
No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users.
No antisocial behavior.
No camping on creek banks.
No playing around toilet block area.
No livestock to be kept on the park.
No cutting down trees.
No person to travel in the load area of vehicles.
No motorcycles other than on the formed roads or when moving between
your campsite and the road.
No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones

Our beautiful farm is located beside the Logan River and is a little natural oasis close to everything. The campsites offer lush green grass and are set on the bank of the Logan river where you can go fishing. We have a boat ramp that you can use to put your boat, kayak or jet ski in.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish wth them on departure.

Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp.

Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east.
Campers & Day Trippers Rules:
The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple
guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park.
By using this park you agree to the following rules.
All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed
limit.
Fires must be extinguished prior to departure.
Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all
rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so
the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish.
It must be taken with you!
The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in
fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the
creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem!
Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set
up on top of other campers.
Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of
2pm to 6pm.
Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all
times.
No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users.
No antisocial behavior.
No camping on creek banks.
No playing around toilet block area.
No livestock to be kept on the park.
No cutting down trees.
No person to travel in the load area of vehicles.

We are only 15 mins from Mount Warning and 30 mins from Byron Bay. There are plenty of National Parks, bushwalks, cycling paths, near by fishing spots and historical places to visit. The fantastic Northern Rivers Rail Trail is just across the road. We are located near the quaint village of Stokers Siding. Enjoy 13 acres of picturesque countryside with running creeks, lush green paddocks and a fruit orchid.
We have very friendly alpacas who love selfies, and Scottish babydoll lambs who love meeting people.
Set up your campervan or park your caravan on the edge of the flowing creek shaded with lush foliage overhanging from the trees. We only offer two sites for your peace and privacy.
There is access to a portaloo. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own shower, and drinking water. Please respect the environment and take everything with you when you leave. Please note this is just a farm portaloo not a glamping bathroom. Please make sure you clean it on departure.

- We are dog friendly
- No amenities so campers must be self-contained and leave no trace
- Firepits available on both sites. Feel free to collect dead debris from around the property.
- Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place

I highly recommend staying at this site. Tom and Patrick were very accomodation and prompt in their response. The site is beautiful, has great access to a creek for swimming and is private. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever. 10/10

We loved staying at site 6R. The creek was flowing nicely when we were there, enough to swim and use our paddle board in. The surrounding mountain ridges are a beautiful backdrop to the campsite. The property is very well maintained, and the grass is so lovely to camp on. And we loved being able to enjoy a campfire at night.
We would definitely love to come back to this spot. Thanks for having us stay!

This place is phenomenal. The surrounding area and views are stunning, the grounds are very well kept and tidy. On site toilets are clean and the provided hand soap is a nice touch.
We were not bothered once during our camp, and felt very comfortable.
Had so much fun exploring along the creek and dipping our feet in.

Other than that was lovely- creek is great fun, views are perfect. Would prefer designated sites however as it was a bit of a cluster mess trying to find a spot

The grounds and amenities were very well kept and Barry was a great Host. We had a caravan and arrived on Saturday morning for a one night stay. Unfortunately it made getting a flat site a little tricky, but apart from that a great weekend. Running Creek across the road was gorgeous and a great place for a cool dip.

Our second stay at Christmas Creek Bush Retreat was just as incredible as the first. The property is absolutely stunning, with large, spacious, and well-positioned sites that feel private and peaceful. The host’s communication was excellent, and we were lucky with beautiful weather, which made the trip even better. We brought friends along this time and they had an amazing experience too. Definitely one of the best sites we’ve stayed at in the Scenic Rim through Hipcamp — we’ll absolutely be back!

Sarabah Creek Camping is honestly one of the most amazing spots we’ve stayed at. It’s so close to the Gold Coast, yet it feels completely peaceful and secluded.
The campground is beautiful, it was incredible to fall asleep to the sound of the water and the creek was so fresh to swim in. The site feels very private, the bathroom was clean and it was easy to access the campsite!!
You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the grounds and making sure guests have a great stay.
Sarabah Creek Camping is an absolute gem. We’ll definitely be back!

A favourite hipcamp so far! Silky Oak Flat was a super private, quiet and beautiful spot nicely tucked away yet so close to Gold Coast. Our dogs loved the creek and there was lots of shaded areas for them to hang out. Highly recommend!

We loved, loved, loved our weekend here! Plenty of space to set up well away from the one other campsite. We appreciated that the lawn was well-mown. It was very easy to slip into relax mode sitting outside soaking up the views of the creek and the grand old trees. Unfortunately, there wasn't quite enough water in the creek for swimming on this occasion. The stars at night were spectacular. Fantastic location across the road from the Rail Trail. We'd definitely stay here again.

I loved staying at Sarabah stud. I was greeted by the lovely Jacqui and Nathan soon after I arrived and I felt very welcomed to the land. Platypus Hole is a beautiful site tucked away beside the creek. There’s plenty of flat, lush green grass to camp on, in an area that’s elevated a little bit up and back from the creek and fire pit.
It’s super serene, quiet and peaceful and the sites are distanced from each other so there’s lots of privacy. The swimming hole is at a different part of the creek and an easy walk to get to. Having a refreshing dip in the water as the sun goes down at the end of a summer’s day was a highlight of the stay. I also met Robert and he was a very welcoming and generous host.
Thanks so much for my stay. I will be back to this beautiful, inspiring bush haven.
