We are 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. There are 2 separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end. We also have 3 secluded bush campsites down in the paddocks, these are private and peaceful with no other campers within sight. They are all situated to be able to enjoy the sunset. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. The perfect campsite for relaxing days spent in the beautiful hinterland, with Noosa beaches and shops just over the hill. The property offers 80 powered sites and 50 unpowered sites, at various locations around the property, some closer to the creek-line than others. All sites are ideal for pulling up stumps for a few days or more, enjoying the stunning, peaceful property and exploring the wider area. All campers have access the the amenities blocks (hot showers and flushing toilets!), located a couple of hundred metres from camp, depending where you set up, as well as a dump point for those who are self-contained. At this time, whilst campfires are permitted, you must bring your own firepit/brazier or similar and it must be elevated from the ground. Firewood BYO. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead - we have many horses around! Sites will be allocated on arrival in discussion with you, based on your set up.

We have a 400-acre beef cattle and cropping property in the beautiful Scenic Rim, 5 minutes from town. With a dam, tracks to explore, a running creek to fish and frolic in, and plenty of wide-open spaces to rest and relax. Our Creekside sites are in a large open paddock with creek frontage, near the road and readily accessed with 2wd vehicles. Or we have campsites in an elevated position which offer more privacy but do require a 4wd. Campers must be self-sufficient and have their own toilet - we have no facilities here. Campfires are permitted in designated areas and you can buy firewood from us. Note: There are facilities available in town including hot showers and toilets.Dogs are welcome but must be kept restrained.

Yabba Creek Farm

We are located along the Yabba Creek just west of Imbil. Only 3km past Imbil township and 10km to Borumba Dam. Our property boast exquisite views of the Yabba creek bordering Mount Granger and forestry as our backdrop. We have deep swimming holes as well as shallow areas for the little ones. Camps are spaced out along a manicured 300m creek frontage. There is a total of 1km creek frontage on Yabba Creek Farm for your to explore. Attractions include kayaking (limited number provided) fishing, bush walking and wildlife watching. Platypus are frequently sighted in the Yabba creek. Lungfish can also be viewed while kayaking or snorkelling. Koalas, wallabies, gonnas and an abundance of bird life are also commonly sighted. Dogs are welcome on very strict conditions as we have farm animals including lambs, chickens and foals, so must remain secure on a leash at all times. Dogs with hunting or chasing nature are not welcome for the safety of our animals and wildlife. One toilet available. Cleaned daily. BYO if you wish to camp further away from main area. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Weekends we provide farm experiences for the kids with feeding and petting sheep, ponies, chickens and egg collecting (quite limited at this stage, but we are expanding). Bring your push bike and tour the farm trails or further into the neighbouring Imbil Forestry.

We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. There are 2 separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end. We also have 3 secluded bush campsites down in the paddocks, these are private and peaceful with no other campers within sight. They are all situated to be able to enjoy the sunset. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. Despite its holiday atmosphere, it’s easy to get away from it all. The best islands for hiking and camping are Whitsunday Island and Hook Island.

Southern Great Barrier Reef Region

Straddling the Tropic of Capricorn, this somewhat under-rated region has much to offer. Visit in summer for turtle nesting and hatching at Mon Repos Conservation Park, or head offshore to Lady Elliot Island. The main towns are Bundaberg and Gladstone, but it’s worth checking out the coastal villages of Agnes Water and 1770 or heading inland to explore the trails and gorges of the spectacular Carnarvon National Park.
