Mountview Farm Stay

The BEST farmstay in Aus

We loved it here! The most scenic farmstay hosted by the most beautiful family! Close to Townsville, close to little watering holes for a dip and better yet the farmstay is pet friendly. Fires allowed, fire wood for $10 a load, dump point on site, bore water on site, farm animals to see and gorgeous sunsets. The hosts have a cute little couples swing, projector for movie nights too and a few more great family + pet friendly ideas coming to life too. 4G Telstra reception and great starlink reception too. Fairfield shopping centre is only 15mins away, yabbys in local creeks (great adventure for parents and kids) and heaps to do in town, lots of local knowledge shared. Katie + Jason are so kind and passionate about their farmstay. They host a family friendly + inclusive environment that’s also pet friendly, I would 110% recommend a visit! A true hidden gem 😍

Making memories 🥰

This farm stay was an absolute dream come true for our little family! Our two poodles, Buster and Bailey, had the time of their lives chasing butterflies and sniffing out adventures in the spacious green field. It felt like a doggy paradise with all the secure room to roam and explore. But my son, well, let's just say his heart belonged to the farm animals. From the moment we arrived, his eyes lit up meeting the gentle cows, the curious goats, and the fluffy sheep. The hosts were pure magic - so warm and friendly, they made us feel right at home. They even took the time to answer my son's endless questions about farm life, creating memories that will surely last a lifetime. For me, the evenings were pure bliss. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky with vibrant colours, the peacefulness of the countryside settled in. Gazing up at the millions of stars, sparkling like diamonds scattered across black velvet, was simply breathtaking. I couldn't resist capturing a few snaps of the dazzling night sky - a personal souvenir of this magical experience. This farm stay wasn't just a vacation, it was an experience that warmed our hearts. We left feeling recharged and reconnected. We cannot wait to return and create more cherished memories under the vast, starry sky.
