Camp site 2 - Beautiful big camp spot. Nice and private away from camp 1. Can’t wait to go back when the river is running.
Really excellent spot- paddle boarding, lovely fire pit and private. A lovely weekend spot
We loved camping at WillowPark.
So quiet as we were the only ones for the week end. Great place for a reset. Wildlife and birds galore.
There would be plenty of room for a couple of vans in either campsite. Nice and flat , campsite 1 is shadier than 2, but #1 still kept our batteries full.

Such a peaceful spot! The other camp site is far enough to make it feel private. My dog and I loved kayaking down the river. Spotted lots of birds even a few emus and said hi to the friendly horses.

Nice and quiet. Great view of the stars. Shade from the trees was spot on.
This was a beautiful place to explore the river. We enjoyed walking along the river bank and seeing the wildlife and paperbark trees. We loved that the campsite was big enough to kick the footy and for the kids to ride their bikes. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, which made for a peaceful getaway.
Beautiful, peaceful place. Its prefect, that it has only 2 campsites and kayaks to use in your stay is a bonus. We've booked in again 🙌 next month.

Back again but this time camp 2. Big open area, great for solar. Not much of a view. Had a horse visit which promptly devoured a carrot. Plenty of walabies around. Heard some wild pigs one night so kept our dog close.

Brilliant spot in short walking distance to the creek, perfect campsites that have nice, flat & well maintained areas.
Phone reception was strong as well which is a great bonus.
Not too far away from everything but far enough away to enjoy a proper camping experience.
Racheal was very responsive to messages and accommodating to our requests. Highly recommend!
Camp Site 2 is a large green level area suitable for many caravans. Only shame is it is quite a walk to the river.

The site at Willowvale was great. After short stroll/adventure across the dry river bed revealed the picturesque Reid River. We all loved seeing all the different flora and fauna that would pop up.
Great host with and beautiful spot. Will definitely stay again.
Camp grounds were very well kept and nice quiet location. Lovely to see so much wildlife roaming the area and the horses on the way in were beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful camp spot, and super close to Townsville which makes it the perfect little weekend getaway!
The camping areas were well cared for, with a lovely big fireplace. An incredible bonus was the short (under 200m) walk to Reid River where we swam, had a kayak and enjoyed the zipline!
The kids loved it just as much as we did!
We will definitely be back.

Really nice place that's not far from Townsville. Lovely river about 200m from the campsite. Plenty of mowed grassy spaces on site 1. Excellent weekend, we will definitely be back
Such a great, quiet spot. Hosts are very nice with good communication. Large enough to fit a couple vans and on flat level ground. Would recommend.
We just spent some time at this camping spot and it was absolutely beautiful. The wide open space made it feel peaceful and relaxing – perfect for getting away from it all. There were lovely country walks to enjoy, and a scenic walk down to the river that was a real highlight. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind and soak in the natural beauty. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, picturesque camping experience. Thank you for such a memorable stay Rachel, we will definitely be back!

We loved camping at WillowVale Park. Site 1 makes it that little bit exclusive.
It’s a hidden gem waiting to be explored.
The grounds have ample space. Loved that they have a little camp fire area and access to the river. A little bit of a walk to the river but kids loved playing in the sand. Definitely will come back again. Maybe a little bit of clearing on the walking track due to snakes. Got to see emus which was cool!
