Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast). Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach. This campsite is located at Captain Creek. 15kms from Agnes water 1770. on 40 acres with a seasonal creek. We have a lovely natural bush setting with privacy. Suited for off grid campers. You will see kangaroos and lots of bird life to watch. Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast). Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and a picnic table for meals. Plenty of space for bushwalking or sit back around camp fire or just read books. There are some great mountain views to be seen while walking around and site seeing, and Eurimbula National Park is close by. A real gem! Quiet and clean, and the facilities and price can’t be beat! The birds and wildlife up there were incredible! It also got nice and cool in the evening, which was a huge relief after sleeping near Cairns for a couple weeks. A little tip- there *is* plenty of space…. But if you want flat and shady ground (near the back or side), and don’t want to cram in next to someone—come early. If that’s not possible though, and you can stay another night, set up bare bones the first nightand wait until the next morning. A ton of people left pretty early and I could move to a prime location if I wanted. Les was also great. Very helpful and friendly.

What a cracker of a spot, very secluded and quiet. Tight to get in but worth it. Even get about 5 hours of sunlight as this was just right to charge batteries. Lots of firewood to easily pick up around the site. Camp is about halfway between Noosa and Eumundi so really easy to get to both. Perfect spot!!!!

Camp Kuna exceeded my expectations in every way. As a local, I'm always searching for quality camping spots, and this one definitely earned a place on my return list. The facilities were impressively well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen came equipped with all the essentials you'd need, which made meal prep a breeze. I particularly loved the fire pits – they were thoughtfully designed and added the perfect ambiance to our evenings. The campground offers plenty of shady spots, which is a huge plus for staying comfortable during the day. The location is ideal, with just a short, easy walk down to the river. It's close enough to be convenient but far enough to feel like you're truly escaping into nature. Even though I live nearby, I'd absolutely camp here again. It's the perfect balance of comfort and outdoor experience. Highly recommended for both locals looking for a quick getaway and travelers passing through the area.

Free washing machine and the amenities were spotless at all times. Les does an amazing job, and the locals are friendly. Would highly recommend...great nature chill spot. The Red Dog loved the river walk.

Great location with a short drive to Agnes Water and 1770. There’s only 2 sites and we were the only people there so it was super private. You can’t see the camping spots from the road. If both spots are booked, you might see each other, but there’s plenty of space between the sites. This would be a great spot for a small group. The fire pit in site 1 would be great on a cool night, and I imagine it would light up the trees beautifully. There’s a small amount of road noise, but it was barely noticeable. On arrival, don’t misinterpret the directions to site 2 like we did. You can see site 1 from the drive way. You need to turn right towards site 1 to go past it to site 2 (rather than passing it and staying on the driveway).
