Excellent fishing!Campfires are permitted with wood included (when restrictions aren't in place). Dogs allowed and must be on leash at all times.SPECIAL EVENTS: During the weekends only of QLD school holidays, we are open for motorbike trail rides. You need to have an MQ license and be part of a motorcycle club (we have our insurance with Motorcycling Queensland). If unsure please ask. This means things are a bit noisier on the weekends of school holidays. :)

Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast).
Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach.

We loved tent camping at the Mango Ranch. The field was flat and well maintained. Yannick was so nice and welcoming, and he even let us take some mangos in the morning! Kangaroos were there walking around. I really recommend this place.

23E was a quiet site while we were there but there were a few factors to consider.
We found the site very Rocky which made setting up a tent difficult.
It is a short distance from the bathrooms and camp kitchen. Maybe about 200m downhill.
Other than that, the site was good as we could bring our dog.
I would recommend this site for a stay of a few nights.

A million stars review for this place.
I made a mistake with the booking date, and they helped me keep my reservation. When I noticed the error, we called to fix it, and the response was so fast that it really relieved us.
The place is incredibly well equipped: the bathrooms were clean and in order, the kitchen was super well equipped, and the spaces are big and comfortable. There are fans, and the caretaker is available 24/7.
I really recommend this place.

Fantastically kept camp site!
Very well priced, very clean toilets and showers and even have free washing machine use.
Lovely quiet space to enjoy the outdoors.
I got there quite late but the caretaker still came out to greet me and show me the facilities.

We had a really great stay here. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. When we were going to grill, he not only came over to help us get everything ready, but he also sat with us while we grilled and we had a wonderful conversation. He even let us borrow some of his own kitchen equipment when we were missing a few things. Small gestures like that truly make a big difference.
