Located only a 5-minute drive from Cordalba State Forest, you’ll have easy access to scenic walks, mountain bike trails, and horse riding adventures. There are also bush tracks leading out from the property Bundaberg is an easy 30 minute drive and Childers 15 minutes. Experience the charm of our countryside with supervised visits with our horses and Highland cows. Join us around 4:30 pm for the afternoon feed and grooming session. (Please note: The Highland Coos are away visiting a bull December 2025 and January 2026) Relax and enjoy a meal at the BBQ area, which overlooks the horse arena. If you bring your horse, for an additional fee, you can explore our arena featuring dressage letters, obstacles, drums, and jumps, or test your skills in a dedicated area with permanent obstacles. For your convenience, our well-equipped camp kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, and microwave, along with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Park your caravan or pitch your tent by the creek, Stockyard Creek. On our 28 acre property you have access to an extremely large dam for your water toys ( non powered) and mowed walking tracks all over the property. Campers must be self contained with their own toilet. Kangaroos are everywhere and an abundance of birdlife have the 2nd very large dam all to themselves. The site provides complete privacy and peace and quiet except for the bird song. The Heritage township of Childers is 5 minutes away by car, Woolies, restaurants as well as a main street that is very worth while walking down. Great coffee shops and interesting old Hotels. A great place to stop over if you are heading north or south. If travelling with family/friends (more then one caravan/tent), please contact us for site availability.

We stayed for one night and it was beautiful, plenty of walks and wildlife and very private. We had a fire as Dennis and Susan left plenty of firewood for us. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic Hipcamp! Heaps of grass spots to choose from, free firewood, lots of nature - including fireflies, which we've never seen before. Shane, the host, was great and checked in with us to let us know a storm was coming. Stayed a week, but could easily have stayed for longer.

Recently stayed 1 night. What a gem of a place. As there is only 1 site you have the place to yourself. So peaceful. Highly recommend to anyone who loves nature and silence. Plenty of walking tracks to check out the wildlife. Dennis came by to say hi and give me a rundown of the area. Very nice gentleman. I will definitely be back.

A fabulous stay alongside the creek with fire pits and wood provided to use. 2 spots to choose from with lovely grass everywhere. A few dips in the driveway/road in, but managed with a 22” van with lower clearance. Great directions and caring hosts, thanks Dennis and Sue for a great stay! Kayaks available to use on the dams and walking tracks across the property.

We loved the location, the peace and quiet and wide open spots to camp on. The whole area is well maintained and is a credit to Shane, I would certainly recommend a stay if you want to get away from the noise and congestion of caravan parks. There is easy access to all the facilities of Hervey Bay, Toogum and Burrum heads We will certainly be back.

Dennis and Sue have carved out a lovely private spot on their land for visitors. Lots of options to pitch a tent or park an RV alongside the creek that is teeming with birdlife. They keep the grass mowed short with nice cleared trails to roam. There is a privacy tent for your toilet. There is a swing, a table with benches, a fire pit, and the site was stocked with wood. They offered the use of a paddle board and boat for the dam which would be wonderful in hot weather. Childers is a very short drive, and has an all the amenities you might need. 10/10. Thank you for having us!

What a delightful property. Not sure where to start, the space is ample and flat overlooking the arena, power or no power your choice. The animal feeding was an absolute highlight, Sharon and Wayne are absolute legends. You don’t need to be a horse person to enjoy it here, but if you are WOW it offers everything. We will be back
