The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience. Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. We have plenty of open space for you to pitch your tent or park your camper/caravan. Enjoy waterfront camping with easy access for fishing or water activities and swimming; BYO fishing gear, canoes, paddleboards, kayaks, etc. Due to insurance restrictions, no motorised boats or motorbikes are permitted. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed but need to be kept on leashes, or in a secured area at your campsite, at all times. In the interest of everyone's safety and enjoyment, campfires need to be contained in fire pits provided. BYO or collect your own firewood. Great little spot, nice flat ground for pitching a tent, quiet and peaceful. The hosts were great, very accommodating and absolute life savers when we realised our car had a flat battery. The man cave with a fully functional kitchenette and the bathroom were very handy to have especially with a baby in a heatwave/storm. We would recommend to anyone staying in the area :)

We loved our stay. The beach was so close and beautiful. Listening to the waves crash in. It is amazing to see the turtle tracks during the day along the beach after our night at the turtle centre and it was only a short walk to the centre. A very peaceful and restful stay. Unfortunately, not all areas are vape/smoke free, this was the only let down for us.

3 nights at Bucca Country River Retreat

It was easy to park our caravan and hook up to power on a lush grassy site. The view was glimpses of the the Kolan river surrounded by a variety of trees and natural bush. The amenities were very private separate rooms. The toilets were well done and very clean. The showers worked great! We were able to kayak from an area below the campsites. We had the place to ourselves and it was so quiet and relaxing.
