The property is situated only 10 minutes drive from Maryborough, making it easy to explore this historic town. Guests are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Site 1 is better suited for tent campers. The peace and quiet along with the beautiful scenery added to a fantastic 5 day stay at Creekside. The campsite had lush green grass which was well maintained and a fire pit was provided. Wood was available from Owen and Wendy who were amazing hosts. Will definitely be back.

1 night at Wright's on the River

We originally booked for 1 night and stayed for 5. We camped at the Creekside camp which was a lovely grassed area with lots of space. The area was well maintained and even had a shade shelter with table and chairs. The camp is private, quiet and with a lovely outlook over the creek and a fire pit is provided. We caught numerous catfish, which was fun, and 2 quite large lungfish which we photographed and released unharmed back into the water. Owen and Wendy are lovely friendly hosts who were very accommodating after we had a booking hiccup with another site. We will definitely be returning.

Weekend Trip to Wright's on the River

We had a wonderful stay at Wrights on the river. It's a lovely spot with a large body of water, great for water based activities & fun for the whole family. We will be going back again! It's an excellent spot for group camping, with two large caravan/tent sites side by side. If you want to ensure privacy we would recommend booking both sites, which is what we did. Owen was very welcoming & their place is very easy to find.

Fantastic Hipcamp! Heaps of grass spots to choose from, free firewood, lots of nature - including fireflies, which we've never seen before. Shane, the host, was great and checked in with us to let us know a storm was coming. Stayed a week, but could easily have stayed for longer.

We loved camping at Wrights on the River. Our host Owen and Wendy were very welcoming and helpful. We camped right on the river beautiful level soft grass site with easy access to river for kayaking or just relaxing enjoying the changing waterscape with the passing of the day. Quiet, peaceful apart from the bird song and occasional moo from the cows in the next meadow. Definitely a new favourite. Thankyou Owen & Wendy AAA+++ campsite

An amazing spot on the creek. Fire pit, privacy, green grass and fishing - absolutely perfect!! We had no problems getting up and down the hill but be mindful of your vehicle's capability if towing as access to the site is quite steep.

Awesome little spot, quiet and not over crowded, lagoons a good spot for the hounds to swim and the river provided some great fishing. Micheal was super helpful providing firewood and throwing a BBQ for the nrl grandfinal. Great weekend see yas again soon.
