The farm has been in my family for nearly 80 years, four generations and these campsites have been hosting people for a very long time. I remember staying there as a little girl with a girl guide group.

River rd ranch is at heart of the sunshine coast being only a 10 minute drive to Coolum beach and Yandina, 25 to 30 minutes to noosa, mooloolaba, Maroochydore beaches, Sunshine Plaza, bars and restaurants! Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. Mountain MiniMoos 4WD Bushcamp is located 15 minutes from Maleny in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It features 3 private sites in a spectacular bush setting (and more are coming!). We welcome small groups and their pets and cater to couples and small groups looking for a secluded weekend away. There is a two night minimum. A MINIMUM OF AWD VEHICLE IS NEEDED JUST TO GET ONTO THE PROPERTY. THERE IS NO WHERE TO PARK VEHICLES THAT CANNOT REACH THE SITE. Please take the track descriptions seriously. We're not embellishing just to discourage inexperienced 4WDers. These are NO JOKE. Gumtree Summit and The Gun Range are up a steep and rocky track that require techincal driving skills and a capable vehicle. These sites are very difficult to access in wet weather. You need to know what you are doing. When booking, ensure you reach each site description thoroughly and send us a message answering the vehicle capability questions prior to requesting a booking. Fuzzy miniature galloway cattle freely roam the property here. If you are not camping at the Summit sites, where they don't tend to go, you may see us driving around in our side-by-side given them lots of treats and cuddles. Other than that, our hope is that you don't see anyone but the local wildlife.

UPDATE as of 11 Jan 2025 - creek is flowing, grass is growing. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. Welcome to our lush 9 acre Hobby Farm Stay property overlooking the Brisbane River with horses, ducks, geese and chickens. Experience the joys of farm life, feeding the animals, collecting eggs and relaxing under the mango trees. You can choose a private campsite tucked away out of sight of the main house, shaded by mango and orange trees. If you choose to camp in the open away from the trees, the house will be in sight, but we live a quiet life and will respect your privacy. The site is perfect for couples and family/friend groups. We can accommodate, tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. Being so close to the CBD the site is a great option for 'shake down' short stays for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. There is a large flat grassy area for kids to play and ride bikes. Please keep in mind that this is a 'Farm Stay', you will be camping on a working property which is also our big back yard. Your privacy is assured, however, if you are looking for total seclusion, this may not be the Hipcamp property for you. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. Firewood is available as an 'extra' for $20, if you would like a bundle please amend your booking to include firewood. Power (10amp 0nly) and water is available close to your campsite, but you must bring your own camping toilet. Daily water usage is included in your booking fee. Long range water tank fill ups incur a one off extra fee of $10, please include this in your booking under extras. We are friendly hosts who will respect your privacy and welcome your children to participate in farmyard feeding times and egg collecting (less eggs in winter). Our geese and ducks and chickens are hand reared so they are not aggressive at all 😃 We have two Sausage dogs, Ockie and Arlo. Ockie especially likes to visit campers, Arlo is a little less social but she may visit if she musters up the courage. This is their home so if you aren't doggy people perhaps this isn't the campsite for you. Please keep your food and rubbish up high so the doggos and other critters don't help themselves. Horse riding lessons are available by prior arrangement. Please give 7 days notice prior to your stay should you wish to book a riding lesson. No dogs please, Ockie and Arlo are the masters of their domain and don't like doggy interlopers. NB: The site is not suitable for parties or large group gatherings.

As the name suggests, the property is atop a mountain, but we do have flat areas perfect for camping or caravan set-ups with some spectacular views out over the Sunshine Coast (or of the local bushland, whatever suits you) Dog and children friendly - let us know this when you are booking so we can suggest the best areas for you! Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. No toilets or potable water available - please bring your own. Access to the property is via a gravel road. Due to recent weather events, an SUV or 4WD vehicle is most suitable to access the property. Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up. Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly. There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic! Somerset Dam is 40minutes away and you are able to use your own motorised equipment there. PLEASE if booking individually but you intend to join a larger group please message me on hipcamp after you have booked telling me the names of people you would like to camp with so I can allocate a space large enough to fit you all. Also please note we have 24 sites only, however some of these sites can easily fit 40 people therefore on Hipcamp it can show lots of availability when in fact that may not be the case. We are more expensive per person than other camp sites. Please note this includes hipcamp fees and charges and you are covered by hipcamp insurance. We don’t charge for pets, nor do we charge to use our 6 onsite canoes, nor do we charge extra for hot showers or rubbish removal, we haveguest wifi. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues.. Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. We have a great supply of locally sourced firewood, $20 per bag 20kg-25kg and we strongly discourage wood brought on from other areas due to biosecurity concerns. We have firepits at all campsites and adhere to any fire restrictions. We do not supply BBQ’s please bring your own. Please come to our reception building on the way in, as we need to check everybody in, visitors to your camp site need to sign in and pay a day fee. We are then able to answer any questions you may have and further cement our rules. Day visitors to your campsite will incur a $10 per person fee and is time restrictive. Want a cold beer while the kids play in the kids space? We have it here for you. 3. Your camping area creek side is for tent camping only. The sites are a metre from the tree lined creek edge with giant granite boulders and water running most of the year. Cross the sandy creek bed by 4wd to unpack your tent and set up your fire pit. Your car can be parked safely on the property. 4. Have a pop top? Then we have spaces in a more public space next to a narrow creek spot depending on your size. 5. What else? We have a shower n toilet located a short walk from your site via torch light or bring your own portable toilet. Town water is available as well. 6. Tennis court available to play on or for the kids to run on. Just book a time with us when you are here. We charge $20 an hour. 7. Each spot has a fire area for you. Just bring your own wood or collect from the bush. People use our property as a base for a few days to explore the surroundings areas - Mt Glorious walks, Mt Nebo hikes, Dayboro visit etc etc. Please note that we are next to a road and as such, you will have some road noise so as much as the location is highly convenient if you want absolute silence, this is not the place for you im sorry. Moy Park is our home and our livelihood, we are a working dairy farm that supplies milk to Norco. the camping area is approximately 20ac with the beautiful Mary river along the boundary, perfect for fishing and camping! It is situated in the Mary valley between Kenilworth (8 mins), Eumundi (15mins) and Imbil (12mins). So lots of options to have an adventure, see new things and explore! Sunrises, sunsets and night skies are unforgettable! The river water levels depend on rainfall and run off. We have 4 sites here just above the river bank, if these are fully booked check Moy Park Sky Paddock. Fire pits are at all sites and camp fires are to be kept to the fire pits supplied only. There is plenty of dead wood and debris for fires and locals selling bagged firewood nearby. No burning of any rubbish, especially cans and glass. IMPORTANT please note, we do NOT have amenities or drinking water. You need to be self sufficient and bring your own shower/toilet, and take with you ALL waste. The road to the campsite currently is only grass, when dry it is 2WD accessible, so 4WD is best. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and must be cleaned up after. As we are a working dairy we are happy to trial having dogs here.

As we are nestled in the rainforest, phone reception can vary, which is perfect for stepping away from day to day life (but it is possible to head back to the entrance to pick up better coverage) The area offers a variety of nature walks and only 10 minutes to town of Woombye, Palmwoods, Montville, Hinterland National Parks and also convenient access to the many beaches and attractions on the coast.

Crystal clear creek to play in, safe for children as its not deep near camp spot. Fantastic spot to get away and breath the fresh country air! Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided, you will have to bring your own fire wood please or it is available up Fletcher Road about 1km on right for $10 a bag. Pets are allowed. Settled in 1866 by Mr. Robert Brown. The land is now used for beef cattle and a small amount of dry land hay production. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Pets welcome however must remain on leash or tether *Please notify us if bringing a dog* Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Camping here, just beside the rainforest vegetation corridor along the Mary River, you're guaranteed privacy and peace. Price is $25 per person, per night with capacity for up to 10 people maximum. Children 5-12 years $5.00. We will meet and greet you. Campers need to be fully self-contained with their own camp toilet, and leave no footprints in our fragile and endangered rainforest ecosystem. Easy walks and bike riding along the riverbank and local roads or immerse in the serenity of the flora and fauna and kick back at night under the majestic sky. No pets permitted as we are a Land for Wildlife property. Campfires are permitted when local fire restrictions aren't in place. We can supply firewood for $15/bag. Access path into Conondale National Park is 1.5 km along the road from camp. Hinterland villages of Maleny, Kenilworth, Peachester and Beerwah within 30 min drive. Conondale village and the corner shop is 11 km away. Please be aware no mobile signal on property. House phone for emergencies. Caravans and camper trailers are unable to traverse Postmans Track route to Aherns Road.
