The Magic Pond is a private property, not a commercial business. The land is suitable for self-sufficient campers only. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES, YOU NEED TO BRING OR HIRE YOUR OWN TOILET, WITHOUT ONE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. No dumping of waste is permitted on the property. The closest dump point is Caboolture Showgrounds (140 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture 4510), which is open 24/7 and approximately 15 km from The Magic Pond.
Firewood is available for purchase.

Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire and coals are fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbors.
Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets.
Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety.
We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups.
Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there.
Campfires in the provided fire pit or drum only. Due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety.
You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site.
Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet.

Our little piece of paradise is 50 acres of paddock and bushland set in the Glass House Mountains, halfway between Brisbane and Noosa. Property is close to lots of walking tracks and mountains to hike in the area and we are only 5ish mins drive from the town centres of Glass House Mountains and Beerwah. We are surrounded by pineapple farms and honest boxes of limes, pineapples and avocados are spotted along the nearby streets.
Our little hobby farm is perfect for a city break! Wake up to the sound of chirping birds and wallabies passing through. There is an old macadamia orchid and we are currently in the process of building a new chicken coop, so will hopefully have hens and eggs soon! Numerous damns and creeks run through the property but they have not been cleared of weeds for swimming.
Clyde is our resident horse who will likely come visit you at your campsite. He is the sweetest boy and loves nothing more than a carrot and a gentle pat. He is an old boy now so not suited for riding but is a wonderful companion!
There are no facilities here so all campers will need to be self sufficient with a camping toilet. It is preferred that campers bring their own water but bore water can be supplied if you run out (not the ideal for drinking).
I live in the main house so am available for any emergencies but will give you your privacy! Dogs are welcome as long as they do not chase off the wildlife and are calm around the horse. I have a dog at the house so must also be dog friendly or else kept on lead!

Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV.
See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD.
UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills.
Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting.
Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience!
You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk.
Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars.
All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal.
NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted.
NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately.
NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. You’ll have a seat to sit on, a lid to close, and the need to throw some Leaves and grass in each time you go.

The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities.
We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

The closest dump point is Caboolture Showgrounds (140 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture 4510), which is open 24/7 and approximately 15 km from The Magic Pond.

Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire and coals are fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbors.
Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets.
Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety.
We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups.
Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there.
Campfires in the provided fire pit or drum only. Due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety.
You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site.

Our little piece of paradise is 50 acres of paddock and bushland set in the Glass House Mountains, halfway between Brisbane and Noosa. Property is close to lots of walking tracks and mountains to hike in the area and we are only 5ish mins drive from the town centres of Glass House Mountains and Beerwah. We are surrounded by pineapple farms and honest boxes of limes, pineapples and avocados are spotted along the nearby streets.
Our little hobby farm is perfect for a city break! Wake up to the sound of chirping birds and wallabies passing through. There is an old macadamia orchid and we are currently in the process of building a new chicken coop, so will hopefully have hens and eggs soon! Numerous damns and creeks run through the property but they have not been cleared of weeds for swimming.
Clyde is our resident horse who will likely come visit you at your campsite. He is the sweetest boy and loves nothing more than a carrot and a gentle pat. He is an old boy now so not suited for riding but is a wonderful companion!
There are no facilities here so all campers will need to be self sufficient with a camping toilet. It is preferred that campers bring their own water but bore water can be supplied if you run out (not the ideal for drinking).
I live in the main house so am available for any emergencies but will give you your privacy! Dogs are welcome as long as they do not chase off the wildlife and are calm around the horse. I have a dog at the house so must also be dog friendly or else kept on lead!

Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV.
See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD.
UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills.
Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting.
Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience!
You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk.
Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars.
All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal.
NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted.
NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately.

We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

Welcome to Our 170-Acre Private Eco Camp
Escape the ordinary, reconnect with nature on our private bushland park and peaceful lake. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, and relaxing in a calm, natural setting,no motors, just birdsong and open skies.
We are proudly off-grid with no powered sites. Our focus is peace, space, and sustainability. Motorised equipment is not allowed on our lake, but Somerset Dam (40 minutes away) welcomes boating and jet skis.
Campsites ; Facilities
We have 24 spacious sites, some lakefront and others among trees or in the open. Lakefront spots can’t be guaranteed — sites are assigned based on group size and setup. If you’re camping with others, please message after booking so we can place you together.
Facilities include:
• Three flushing toilets and two hot showers in the main area with 3 porta loos.
• 2 Porta-loos at remote sites (max 500 m from amenities)
• Firepits at every site (subject to restrictions)
• Firewood available $20 per 20–25 kg bag (no BYO wood)
Access ; Vehicles
Our 1 km private driveway is unsealed but fine for 2WD when driven carefully. Please do the assigned speed limits. You can park at your site once set up. For safety, no joyriding or unnecessary driving around the property. Supervise your children at all times.
Pets ; Wildlife
Well-behaved dogs are welcome under control. We’re surrounded by bushland with ticks, spiders, and snakes — please use tick protection and take normal care.

Noise limits apply, no amplified music,
Fires and ;Firewood
Campfires are welcome in supplied pits when conditions allow. We sell local wood to protect against pests. Please follow fire bans.
Toilets ; Waste
Do not empty toilet cartridges into our toilets. Use the dump point at Woodford Showgrounds.
Activities
Swim, kayak, paddleboard, or simply relax by the water. Every site is close to the lake, but not on the lake, scenery is stunning at sunrise and sunset.

Entry from 8am for all booking arrivals, however sites not guaranteed until 12pm.

Set on a spacious and mostly flat grassy acre within a 23-acre property, Robbo’s Retreat is the perfect base for adventurers, travellers with caravans or campers, and anyone wanting a quiet, convenient spot to explore the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
We have both powered and unpowered sites available. Your site will be allocated to you on arrival.
Easy, Level Parking & Security – Large, level areas make it a breeze to park RVs, motorhomes and caravans, with a dump point onsite for added convenience. The property is secured with an electric entrance gate, giving you peace of mind during your stay.
While there are no toilets or shower facilities onsite, a dump point and town water access are offered.
Campfires and Outdoor Relaxing – Enjoy evenings around the shared fire pit, where guests can gather, unwind and soak up the peaceful rural setting. Firewood is available for use.
📍 Perfect Location – Just a short distance from Landsborough township, you’ll find shops, cafes and essentials close by. It’s also a great stop-over for heading to Australia Zoo and other Sunshine Coast attractions, with easy bus and train access north and south towards beaches or the city.
Note: This site is best suited for self-contained campers and rigs. Tent camping isn’t permitted, so it’s ideal for caravans, campervans or motorhomes prepared with your own facilities.

What a great spot to camp!
The dam was awesome for swimming.
Top toilet facilities, very clean, follow dunny instructions regarding what NOT to flush.
Ordered firewood when booking, was there waiting for us. Plenty of bird life morning and evening to enjoy. Easy to find, instructions were simple. Great hosts. Our third time staying and we'll be back again.

Great for a weekend getaway, beautiful outlook of the valley and a nice creek just down from the tenting area. Owner is very friendly and accommodating, camping spots and facilities are maintained very nicely.

A great place to spend the weekend. As a camping spot, it ticks all the boxes, well cared for sites, shady areas, a running creek for dips, fire places, great toilets and the best part is Tony is a great host and very accommodating. Do it, book it in! For those with campers and hybrids, the creek sites are doable, but make sure you know what you are doing as the drive out is steep and loose.

Phenomenal campsite with full privacy, fully functioning toilet/ shower and immaculate surroundings. The hosts were very personable and responsive. The campsite is close to Dayboro for any essentials you may have forgotten. Absolutely loved our time there and so lucky to have beautiful weather.

Needed a place to try out my camper and this spot fit the bill. Just a one - nighter, chilling amongst the trees and reading till sundown. The small lake is picture perfect, the surrounds are peaceful with clean and handy amenities. I was tucked right down behind the lake, well amongst the trees, in David Austin.
Be prepared for mozzies at the usual time. I had sandalwood coils burning around the camp and some bushman's repellant which worked a charm.
Andrew is a super nice bloke, made everything easy start to end. Looking forward to returning if my travels take me that way again.

What a lovely spot for a few days. Clean mowed sites large enough for a family of campers. We kayaked (our own inflatables) every day, but all the sites on the water had kayaks or boats waiting for guests to use. Great kids playground, so will bring the grandkids next time.
We were warned about midges but we didn’t notice any. We did wear repellent every day though.
A bit of rain around the first day (still managed a kayak) and we managed to light a fire the second night which was nice at dusk with a sundowner 😊

What a fantastic weekend we have just had! The weather was abysmal all weekend however it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits Our group camp was full of laughter chatting catching up guitar playing singing and generally relaxing. Bushy and Emma are the most fantastic hosts and went over and above to ensure we all were have a wonderful stay at their property. This was our second time out there and certainly won’t be our last. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Grounds were amazing with great facilities.
To top it off the D'Ag Pub has a courtesy bus that will do pick up/drop off to the camp grounds.

Lovely area to camp, our stay was extremely quiet and private as we had the whole campsite area B to ourselves making a lovely stay. It was unfortunate that the rain had taken a turn towards the end of our stay however Mitch was very understanding. The shower onsite is free and very comfortable to use, very spacious and clean. Would 100% love to come here again.

Weekend Trip to Nine Mountains Glamping
What a fantastic stay we had, even though the weather gods were not on our side. The views were absolutely amazing and made the whole place feel really special. The full kitchen setup was awesome and had everything we needed, which made cooking and relaxing easy. The obvious highlight was the dual bathtubs and hammocks looking out to the mountains — such a great way to unwind. The yurt itself was really spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and secluded getaway.

It was a wet and rainy weekend, but still so much fun! The camping areas are maintained so well and my kids absolutely loved the playground area and water slides.
