We welcome self-sufficient campers who seek to disconnect, rewild and enjoy an intimate camping experience. To ensure a private and relaxed environment, we limit the campground to two large sites within this paddock, providing ample space for caravans, campers, and tents. Each site covers approximately 900 square meters, allowing plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Nestled in a valley of rolling green hills beneath Mapleton National Park you'll find our beautiful property. Easy access from a well maintained dirt road. Cedar creek runs through the middle of the property for a nice refreshing swim in the swimming hole by the bridge or explore the meandering creek. There is a 4wd access road through to the mapleton national park for you to enjoy the hiking trails and nature.
We want your camping experience at Cedar Banks to be delightful while respecting our local community, wildlife, and surroundings.
To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.
At Cedar Banks, we promote a friendly and respectful environment. Let's all contribute to a memorable and enjoyable camping experience by adhering to these simple guidelines.
PLEASE NOTE: Cedar Banks is currently seeking development approval from the Sunshine Coast Council to operate a function facility (i.e. venue) and hipcamp. Lovely little spot! Large flat pad that was secluded from other campsites. We had a ute with rooftop, then a gazebo with tent attachment and there was still heaps of room. You get your own personal entrance to the creek which was very clean and sandy bottom, plus very cold water on a hot day!! As an added bonus, we had absolutely zero mozzys or flies! Pretty unheard of on a farm paddock!

It was a wet and rainy weekend, but still so much fun! The camping areas are maintained so well and my kids absolutely loved the playground area and water slides.

We stayed 3 nights and were very impressed at how well the property is maintained. There are no toilets but there there are a couple of powered sites. This is a great place for family’s and group camping as there is plenty to keep the kids busy. We were there after the school holidays so it was very quiet. Highly recommend

Nice and peaceful property. Stayed near the dam, there is a road nearby but no traffic at all. Grass was maintained, not too long. Porta loo’s very very clean (probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen tbh). Handy little camp kitchen area. Owners were very friendly too
