This property was fantastic. We were the only people here and went exploring, each camping site had its own merits. Liberty Views had a wonderful view and the sunset did not disappoint. The grounds were well kept and signposted. Each site had a designated campfire, which we loved. The campsites are well spaced. The property is located central to Wyangala Dam and Cowra, we also ventured out to Canowindra. We’ll definitely be back ! 💗

Revelations mountain camps is a great spot for anyone looking to get away from life in general ! The place is so nice, we camped at the Heavens Gate spot and really enjoyed it. Clean air, nice big spots for privacy and overall just a good experience. We got to meet Graeme himself and he’s such a lovely bloke, very friendly and very passionate. Would 100% recommend, we will definitely be coming back !

Our little family (2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs) had a great time camping at Graeme’s place. We stayed at “Fox Hollow” up on the mountain and had amazing views of the surrounding countryside and both sunrise and sunsets. Although there was a number of other people staying here, it was incredibly private. We only saw the other campers when they drove past our site or when we drove past theirs. Graeme stopped by to see how we were doing and shared some local knowledge with us too.

Wonderful place to start our road trip from Sydney . We had the powered site just near the amenities block which was very convenient . Had a lovely walk up the hill behind for sweeping views of the surrounding countryside . Amenities block wonderful with hot shower and flushing loo. Steph is a wonderful host and do yourself a favour and buy some of her chickens eggs . Best ever ! A lovely stay on a working farm . Thank you .

Amazing spot in a beautiful part of the country. I didn't have enough time to get around the whole property but the tracks and signage were clear. The drive up the hill to the camp-site was a bit of fun as a beginner 4WD driver. Great firepit and great view. I just had the Ute and a tent but plenty of room for a caravan. Would highly recommend.

I had a beautifully peaceful (and at times rather windy) stay at Liberty Views Base Camp. Graeme was very helpful, and was proactive in communicating with me around location of the camp spot and the layout of Revelstone and what to expect . If you are in a camper trailer, caravan, slide-on etc, you may need a little bit of levelling at Liberty Views. All the camping areas at Revelstone are well signed and easy to find. For the 'mountain' sites, which are spectacular, you definitely need a proper 4WD to access them if walking is not your thing.

Beautiful spot on the Creek with Good shallow pools for the dog or small kids to run around in and a good swimming hole under the willow tree. The purchased fire wood is top quality as it burns so well with plenty of heat and coals for cooking with. The stars are amazing. The sites are well spaced out. How's the serenity!!! The place is so quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campsite, on top of the mountain. The 360 degree views are amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful here. The highlight was the sunsets, simply stunning! The sky was glowing after the sun set and we were so grateful to have had this unique uninterrupted view of the gorgeous sky. Graeme was very helpful with instructions on how to get to the property. Thank you for having us!

We stayed at Wilsons Flat, and what an awesome spot it is! The peaceful surroundings and stunning views of the property made for an incredibly relaxing getaway. We had such a great time exploring the expansive property and discovering the various camp sites—it was so much fun! A highlight of our stay was watching the sheep dipping and learning more about this fascinating annual event. Jen, the host, was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made our experience even more special. We’re already planning our next stay at The Redlands Property. Thank you, Jen, for such a memorable experience. We truly loved it. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Wyangala Dam and village are nearby with access to watersports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and back waters. The Cowra township is 20 minutes drive and worth a visit . Reflections Holiday Park shop at the dam open Friday-Saturday-Sunday offering general supplies, coffee and hot food. REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN CAMPS offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, find spring fed dams for yabbie fishing or a quick dip in the water hole in Springvale Creek that runs through the property, lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 8 designated camping areas to set up your camp. Enjoy an evening by the campfire some firewood available if you forage or bring your own however please do not cut down or use any standing trees even if they look dead as they add a nice feature to the property. This campsite is suited for campers who are self-contained, with own camping toilet/shower amenities and water supply. Pets on leashes welcome (we have lots of stock wandering about). This is a fully fenced farm all gates that are closed must be closed after entry plenty of privacy, there are over 6 k of 4 wheel drive tracks with amazing rock formations and features all through the property .Each campsite is your own private space and no neighbours. Hi campers, Nestled among the hills on Old Man Gunyah Creek, this 1400 acre property is owned &and run by John & Jen. It's a sheep farm running 1600 sheep producing fine wool and fat lambs. Plenty of room to move, walk the hills, catch a fish, or just sit by the camp fire & watch the stars. Bring your motor home, caravan, camper, tent or swag, the choice is yours. The shearing shed has a fully equipped kitchen & plenty of fresh rain water. You are welcome to roll out your swag in the shearing shed if you prefer. Controlled dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times. There is no mobile service or Wi-Fi. We are 50 kms from a corner store/service station, so don't leave yourselves short. There are toilets scattered around the property, but no shower available.

'La Paloma' is a farm located 15 minutes from the township of Cowra and Wyangala Dam. La Paloma boasts spectacular views down the valley and of surrounding granite hills. We offer powered and unpowered camping. Take a walk up the hill to take in the gorgeous scenery and watch the breath-taking sunrises and sunsets! Say hi to our resident sheep! We have a flock of gorgeous sheep (and their guard alpacas!) enjoying the delicious pastures. There is lots of native bird life to see here, with Superb Parrots, Blue Wrens, Cockatoos, Rosellas, Wedge Tail Eagles and of course, Doves (hence the property name, La Paloma). Wake up to see the mob of kangaroos bounding up the hill. Make sure to pop over to Wyangala Dam (14 min) for a fish or take part in some watersports. Or even head down the road to Elliotts Lookout over the Dam for some incredible views! We can even provide under cover boat storage if you want to bring your boat with you for some fun on the lake! In spring, enjoy the beautiful blossoming fruit trees. You can even visit Sakura Matsuri, the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival in Cowra late September! Year round, enjoy the tranquillity and landscapes of the Japanese Gardens and Cultural Centre in Cowra (14 min). The gardens act as a monument of peace and reconciliation between two countries after the largest Prisoner Of War breakout in modern military history. Cowra's rich history can be explored at the Cowra POW Campsite and various other historical sites around town. Make sure to end your night around a great campfire! We have a designated campfire area or you can have campfires in your own contained fire pits and sometimes we have complimentary firewood in a wood shed close by. Roast some marshmallows and take in the starry night sky. Property has a gorgeous stand-alone bathroom building with 2 toilets, a hot water shower and sink. Please keep this clean and tidy. There are cleaning products under the sink as we cannot always be there to keep it clean. There is also an undercover table and basic camp kitchen set up for use in the shearing shed. Please take all rubbish with you. Please make sure to follow COVID-19 guidelines by washing and sanitising hands especially when using shared areas. Pick a camp site in the middle aisle around the sheds, bathroom block and driveway OR in our top hill paddock (if gates are open) to take in the views. You are welcome to camp anywhere in the paddock - please note these sites are only accessible on foot, please do not drive into the paddock. No fires in the paddock please, there is a communal campfire spot available. We can accommodate RVs on the granite parking pads near the bathroom block. There is a power pole close by to plug in to. Note the ground off the driveway and parking pads can get very wet and boggy so to avoid getting bogged please try to stick to the driveway as much as possible.

Overlooking rural paddocks, and the river, you can enjoy the tranquility that a farming landscape has to offer. Perfect family holiday location. Town center is a 5 min drive or a short walk/ride, so access to town facilities and amenities is very convenient. Please refer to images for the latter. We have a camper's undercover area for you to share and enjoy (lounge, TV, dining tables). Firewood - please bring your own, we do not have firewood or fallen branches from trees. "Wombles Common" has a permanent fire pit area, all other sites require transportable fire pits (provided or bring your own). Please do not leave burn scars on the ground and please take your ashes with you or dump them in the "Wombles Common" fire pit area. River - the river is excellent for fun canoeing adventures. Entering the river is at your own risk. Fishing - great fishing in the river. We love the Red Fin! Pets - pets are welcome but need to be controlled. The safety and comfort of the resident sheep, our neighbours and other campers are a priority. Please don't not allow your pets to disturb (including barking, wandering or chasing sheep) the peace of those around them. Please ensure you book the site you prefer by referring to the image of the sites in this listing. Check image for entrance locations for each site. You will need to be a self-contained camper with own camping toilet/shower, and supplies. We have one power outlet available (only available for "Wombles Common" sites).
