Overlooking rural paddocks, and the river, you can enjoy the tranquility that a farming landscape has to offer. Perfect family holiday location. Town center is a 5 min drive or a short walk/ride, so access to town facilities and amenities is very convenient. Please refer to images for the latter. Firewood - please bring your own, we do not have firewood or fallen branches from trees. "Wombles Common" has a permanent fire pit area, all other sites require transportable fire pits (provided or bring your own). Please do not leave burn scars on the ground and please take your ashes with you or dump them in the "Wombles Common" fire pit area. River - the river is excellent for fun canoeing adventures. Entering the river is at your own risk. Fishing - great fishing in the river. We love the Red Fin! Pets - pets are welcome but need to be controlled. The safety and comfort of the resident sheep, our neighbours and other campers are a priority. We have a 55 acre property at the foot of the Dananbilla Range, a working farm with coloured Miniature Sheep, also pattable Galloway Cattle and calfs and Miniature and normal sized horses, donkeys, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks and LOTS of Miniature Goats all very friendly. Around 200 handraised and tame animals and 200 birds. We are the largest and oldest Miniature Goat Stud in NSW.....all year round we have baby goats, turkeys, horses, cows, sheep...all hand raised and friendly. Founded in 1981 by a group of teenagers in Sydney, Atlantium has since evolved into a global civil society organisation and micronation, boasting thousands of citizens across over a hundred countries. Atlantium is the only country you can drive to from Australia, making it a one-of-a-kind destination. Since acquiring our 200-acre pastoral estate near Reids Flat, NSW, in 2008, we've developed it as our ceremonial capital. Visitors can explore Government House (the Golden House), our post office, a pyramid, and various other monuments and buildings. This was our second time staying at Jarabin - it’s one of our family’s favourite HipCamps. The property is beautiful and quiet, and we ordered the BBQ pack again which was brilliant. Instructions to access the property are very clear and easy to follow. Although the weekend ended pretty wet, the weather held out long enough for a post-dinner swim in the river with the sunset in the background. Pretty close to perfection!

Wow, I travel extensively throughout Australia with my Campervan and this is up there with best sites available. Right on the Murrumbidgee River, theres only 3 campsites, all spread avout 100m apart to ensure privacy. Campfires permitted and catered for and Ben even provides Black Angus beef and accompanying wines for those keen to sample local produce. Will return ASAP. 5 stars and a must visit. Highly reccomend.

A beautiful riverfront campsite- it was just magic waking up to the running river water. We only stopped in for a night but would definitely be back. A gorgeous, very well cared for property and hosts were easy to communicate with. Suitable for beginner campers and just as enjoyable for experienced campers like ourselves. The campsites are within reasonable proximity to each other (you would be able to see your neighbours) but not right on top of each other. Cars do also drive by during the day maybe 50m away, so not 100% private, if that’s what you are chasing. That would be the only negative if you were wanting to be remote.

Weekend Trip to Boorowa Hipcamp - Wombles Common

Another great stay at Boorowa Wombles Common. The area was clean mown and right on the river. Love the addition of a firepit. The adjoining pathway was great to take into town both walking and bike riding. We enjoyed watching the sheep wander around the paddock and the creeky windmill across the river gave that real country feel not forgetting the view of beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Easy to find location although our 19ft van is possibly maximum size to get through the main gate. We even managed to catch a rather large carp on the first night. Will come back again

This property is amazing. The views are fantastic, the stars are beautiful and the river is so serene. My pup and I had an amazing time at Ben’s place, and highly recommend this stay. I’ll be back for sure. The sites are well spread out, but in terms of longer stays, I’d recommend bringing ensuite toilet for more privacy! I only stayed one night so this wasn’t a problem at all. Thanks Ben! We’ll be back.

What a spot! Stunning waterfront camping. What we loved is that people aren’t jammed in but instead plenty of space between sites. Next time we will come and stay at site 1 which is bigger. Cows roaming around was lovely although our two frenchies weren’t sure what they were! We also got the meat pack, highly recommend.
